Hi Simone, I've watched many of your loc videos and done retie while watching one of yours lol. One thing I thought really important to clarify when discussing microloc options/pricing is that the ONLY DIFFERENCE between sisterlocks and microlocs can literally be the grid used and the interlocking tool used. When the consultant stated the same price whether microlocs or sisterlocks - you assumed the microlocs quoted would be two strand twists - and that's not a valid assumption. My microlocs as well as MANY others I know of, were installed 100% interlocked. That applies DIY and pros that do both sisterlocks and microlocs. Please don't imply that microlocs are installed as two strand twists. Microlocs are installed with interlocking, two strand twists, braids and even comb coils (though not often - I know of two who did). Differences in prices are driven by the difference in time it takes for the install. Install method, sizing, hair density, etc. are all factors of that time calculation and pricing. I am not sure I know exactly what you are referring to but I agree with you, Microlocs can be interlocked from root to tip (can even have diamond parts with that method and etc.. I mainly want to stress that "sisterlocks" are not established with two strand twist, palm rolling etc. If they aren't interlocked and have the sisterlock grid as well as established by a sisterlock consultant, they have been tricked. 💜
