Hey Lucas, there is definitely lots of options on the side-by-side world. Looking forward to seeing which one you pick. Great video.!👍🏻
Thanks, Buddy! We are excited. Not sure when we will pull the trigger, but soon, Lord willing!
The biggest complaint I've heard about Kubota diesels is they are LOUD and SLOW. Bulletproof design if you can handle those two aspects. Good video! Tractor Hard! 🚜💪!
Thanks for sharing! I kind of want it to be relatively slow, because we don’t need to be joy riding it…lol
I heard here in Australia great for the farm, not so good on steep rough terrain, almost stops going ,pity because I really like them.I have a benche warrior 800 goes ever where without any problem. Not very quiet and CVT gearbox is not the best same as most utv .Works ok but noisy and no engine braking ,all steel body and cheaper than most.r@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead
We have a newer Polaris 500 that we're happy with. When was I shopping advice I got was to stay away from the off-brand UTV's that they sell at Tractor Supply etc because when you eventually break something, the big names are going to be easier to source parts from.
Right on! That is definitely an important factor to consider!
Great video! Hate we missed you at the show. All look like solid options but I agree with the others that the diesel may be tough on those steep muddy hills. Something powerful and lightweight would be my choice. Take care! 😁👍🏼👊🏼
Ah, that is good info! Thanks for sharing your experience! Hope to run into you soon! 👊
I love how that guy at 10:40 just made a casual reference to PRINDL but nobody bat an eye... What a meme master... nice
I know! I loved that! 😂👊
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead Love your videos man.. Greeting from Croatia ;)
Don't waste your money on a Kubota Sidekick. Mine has a serious fuel in the oil issue that Kubota says is normal for the Subaru engines. Just got it back after 10 weeks in the shop and not fixed.
I looked at the Kubota and Kawasaki UTVs before deciding on a Hisun Sector 550 EPS this spring. I don’t have the hills you have but definitely give it a workout hauling firewood, landscape bricks, gravel and dirt. It does the job really well.
Glad to hear you are having good luck with the HISUN!
Don't buy Kawasaki mule pro MX or Kawasaki mule pro FXR there nothing but problems they are fix or repair daily I had both of them one was a 2021 model and the other was a 2023 model Kawasaki mule are junk not reliable and there warranty is horrible they do not stand behind there products . Traded for a Can-Am defender. Great machine .
I have the Kubota side kick 850. It has power steering. My wife loves it. My brother bought a Polaris 1000 with out power steering. He told me get power steering!! He plows with it and it’s a work out.
Thanks for the advice!
My Sidekick is junk. Serious oil contamination with fuel and they say it's normal for the Subaru engines. Have your oil analyzed if the level rises.
You should buy a Massimo!
I only buy Honda, I learned that after owning Polaris.
I have a rancher that we just cannot kill! lol. Honda makes great machines.
Couldn't agree more! Never see people leave Honda. They're bulletproof!
I have the Kawasaki Diesel Mule and would say if you have a lot of hills don't get it unless you want to go slow up the hills. And it is loud in the cab.😮 Go with a gas model.
Great info! Thanks for sharing. We definitely have a lot of hills!
Have you thought about a kei truck? I want one with a dump bed
Oh yeah, those are sweet!
Did you make a video of the Bighorn and TrailMaster Booth at Equip Exposition This Year?
I actually didn’t see the Bighorn booth and the Trailmaster folks declined to be in camera…
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead👍👍
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomesteadWhy did the TrailMaster folks decline to be on camera?
Don’t buy a Massimo unless you have somebody in your area that can service it. We had to order parts directly from China.
So you own a Massimo? I searched and the nearest dealer to me was about 2 hours away. That is not ideal. They do seem like a pretty solid machine though. How has your experience been?
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead I have the T-Boss 550 EFI. Honestly I don’t do anything really hard with it. It rides nice go through the puddles. I don’t have a plow or anything like that on it. I use it mostly for hauling animal feed, or just cruising around the property.
Which Intimidator model was shown in this video? I do not find any info on their website for a new four cylinder machine.
It has not released yet. It is supposed to release this spring I believe.
knowing what i have done with a kubota utv kubota is where it is for me
Good to hear! What Model do you have?
Sxs have gotten so expensive just can’t afford them anymore ! Just like trucks they have gotten so high can buy them anymore!
I hear you! I will say that last Massimo model is right around $10k and had a lot of nice features. That is not a bad deal considering!
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead 2021 I bought a new RZR 900s $15k and now they r even higher. Bought a new truck in 2017 $60k now sxs are higher and trucks now up around $100k . The country has gone crazy! I won’t be doing anymore new buying until manufactures get their heads out of their butts lol. My son just bought CFMoto for right around $10k so I was thing maybe looking into them.
You know as well as I do that a Honda would last you the rest of your life. A big Polaris might end it though😂
You’re right about Honda. I really don’t want something capable of speed/performance, because we will destroy it. 😂🤣 I need slow and tough!
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead I agree with that. These Polaris and Can-Am fourwheelers that run 80mph+ would either kill me or fall apart in a few years time
Kubota always win😀
Definitely can’t go wrong with Kubota!
Cruise control on a SxS is stupid!
I know a guy!
I’m hoping to come in and talk to you all this week…
Massimo...sold at your local Tractor Supply, but serviced who knows where?! And do you need a 10" screen for music, Maps, vehicle data, phone integration?? It's crap that's proprietary and going to go down. Get a Kubota or Honda and be done.
Tractor supply sells HISUN around here. I believe Massimo has grown past selling at box stores. They have quite a few dealers. I think the nearest to me is a couple hours away though. I would have to check into that.
