I just bought this a few days ago. I was tossing up between this and HyperX, and what tipped me over was the looks and how heavy it is... heavy means good, right?! Lol.
Anyway, I am so glad I went with the Montech. Its simply stunning. So well built and looks amazing, and the typing experience is much better than other mechanicals I have. I have a v3 Akko keyboard, that I thought was good until I got the Montech. Its so quiet and well damped and stabalised. Keycaps are beautiful. The knob is much better than the Akkos and others. Cable routing is fantastic. I'm loving it.
And I agree with what you say... no need for RGB, and I'm so glad Montech kept the function labels off the keys to keep the clean look. They know how to design. It's a benchmark keyboard for sure, regardless of price.

The color of the turning wheel backlight only flashes and cannot be set to stable, blue, red, etc.???

Yeah, the original one was placed upside down. The custom one was ok. My bad... :/ Sorry, honest mistake.
