You should not promote G2A They are notorious for buying keys with stolen credit cards and reselling them that way. Game Developers urged to pirate their games isntead of buying them on G2A
I have a question here. How do you set up your lines that haul cargo from hubs to cities with multiple drop off points? Lets say you want to drop off bricks in a city at multiple points. How do you manage to do that? Don't they just drop everything off at the first drop off point? Or you setup multiple lines, one for each drop off point?? Also an organization tip here that I found really useful. I always preface my lines with a bracketed letter so I know instantly what am I looking at in a list. [R] - rail - name of line [S] - ship - name of line [B] - bus - name of line [P] plane - name of line helps me a lot when I'm assigning multiple vehicles to lines
right click on the unload properties at each stop and press like 50% or 20% or whatever percentage you want to unload per city. capital always takes anything that it needs no limiter and everything else shares equally
@Hushey Thank you for this video but I can still not understand how you set put the cargo distribution, you speak so fast and jump all over the place. PLEASE PLEASE make a video of strp by step and SLOW DOWN!! so we can all see what you are doing.
Would be interested to know more about you are setting up your game worlds with industry sites. As you say at 2:00 you play a bit differently with sandbox mode and you allow yourself to plop industries on sensible geographical features. I love it but do you start with any random industries, if so how many? and do you remove all the random ones that don't make sense? What about cooked goods factories, I'd say there aren't any geographical features for them? I guess the challenge to overcome with using sandbox mode too much is avoiding your own temptations to place everything down at super convenient places, which you kind of did with your brick factory. I partially feel that this is spoiling the game tbh, as it negates the puzzle of building the network. Would love to hear your thoughts and tips. Love your content, keep it going :)
Hey inter, i completely agree. As this is a mini-series i keep it simple but more advanced playthroughs and my own gameplay i use reconfigured random, usually just random but moved to better places nearby where they spawn. I really like the idea of playing with starting with NO raw industries and placing as you go only in certain geography, so this is a testbed for that really. Thanks for commenting and best wishes
Yeah I love the idea, reminds me of the Fund New Industry option in OpenTTD, which is sorely lacking on TPF2. I'm starting a new play through tonight, think I'm going to try the zero industries approach and plop things in places that make sense as I go, worried I'll just end up "cheating", but should be able to stick to a sensible set of rules I reckon. I remember enough GCSE Geography to know where things make sense 😂
@Hushey How does it work on other maps besides the war express map? How do you take over the AI territories without the battlefields? Or did I just miss seeing them in your game?

Hello Hushey, I was wondering if i can get advice from 1850-70. For some reason, my Intercity routes dont make that much money and its not economically sensible to create a route to the border town on the corner. How do i overcome this? Edit:Also, for some reason, my capital city is constantly smaller than the other big towns.
@@JonatanRaven I forget where but he did say somewhere in the video that save he's plying on is "heavily modded so most people won't have to worry that I haven't unlocked sections of the map yet" or something along those lines

How does one see the border between town areas? Which mod is it? I can't seem to find it
war express, beware as it also locks cities off as the point of the mod is so you can fight and take over other cities which have their own AI

The war stuff only works on the war custom map, the cargo distribution stuff in the video is applicable to every map

yes. They usually break even or run at a slight loss but the big trains make it back

On some lines you need to have 2 locos per train as they are so weak in 1850.
