Yes she really experienced this song, the guy she dated was teaching her how to drive, but a time later they broke up and he started dating a blonde and older girl, Olivia got her drivers license, post about it on her instragram, said she was going through the suburbs to cry and she did! 😂 then she went home and wrote about it on her piano
Olivia is a creative genius. She has a clear vision of what her next project would sound like. She has creative control on her project. It was her idea to have a projector at her nape symbolising the memories she had with guy she broke up with. She is a force to reckon with in the music industry considering her music IQ, musicianship, innate talent and work ethic. Quite picky with artists to follow but with Olivia I was blown away. It was fortunate I have discovered her at the early stages of her budding career when she starred in hmtmts where she composed “all i want “ and co wrote “just for a moment”.

Just wanted to mention that she wrote the chorus and verse in her living room in 30 minutes and co-wrote the bridge with her producer! Only a 2 person project :) React I All I Want by Olivia! She wrote it all by herself in 3 days at 16.

The story telling is so good as she is telling her story. The song is about her ex boyfriend, who is a co-actor from the TV-Series in which she plays (Highschool Musical). Still, a phenomenal delivery by an incredibly talented girl. I hope we will see much more from her in the future!

I love this song, the storytelling behind it, and Olivia's voice! You mentioned that the singing style is popular nowadays... for me it kinda reminds me of Billie Eilish style a bit, but a little more melodic.
I love your breakdown of the different aspects of the song. May I offer an alternative view on her driving to the suburbs? I think the first drive is her initial disappointment and sadness that the goal they had worked on together was achieved but he wasn't there to see it and she couldn't drive to his house. The second drive sounds like the deeper hurt. She longs to see him but she's been replaced by someone she feels she can't compete with. Also, how bout that lyric and key change at the end? Wowwww!

Olivia did write this song and it’s about her co star Joshua Bassett In the Disney plus show High school musical the musical the series. Apparently she was dating him and now he is having a fling with Sabrina carpenter the blonde older girl she was referring to in the song. Sabrina also wrote a song called skin which is also relating to this situation it would be great if you reacted to skin also.

Hello friend. I am new to your channel. I am a lover of all good music and have seen many live shows mostly metal and a lot of musicals. I have a few suggestions of some heavier songs in the more metal category that may be something that you may not have heard or that will be something new on your channel. May I recommend sematary gates by Pantera, wolf totem by the Hu band, Kai Tangsta from Alien weaponry they sing in there native kewi language to preserve it because it is a dying language, Awakening by Unleash the archers. There are many more metal songs that I could recommend but these are a good start in many different genres of metal. Have a blessed day.
