So glad I wasn’t the only one lol even now I have the urge to sing the Misery Business chorus when I listen to Good 4 u lol and then I sent it to my best friend and was like, “this slaps with Paramore vibes” lol
I love how you review Olivia’s songs as a whole, commenting on the instruments, composition, voice, lyrics and meaning. You also offer wise advice and understanding to young people going through heartbreak. You get it 100%! You’re awesome! Thank you!!! 😃🙌👍👌👏👊
She's not that great but promoted heavily because she's part of the beast system. 20 years old and going over to JB's crib in DC when this nation is being fleeced and divided? For what you say to influence the youth who don't know any better. I lost all respect for her. She sold us out.
This channel will grow insanely fast, the quality and content is top notch. Im lowkey still waiting for Ren and The Big Push round 2, but im fine with whatever you guys release :))
PLEASE react to John Mayer's new track he just dropped called "Last Train Home"!!! It has some 80's vibes I think you would love and I really wanna hear your thoughts on his comeback song! :D
I kind of disagree with you on high school promises. I met my husband in high school, at 16 he said he was going to marry me. 31 years later we’re still going strong, we just celebrated our 25th anniversary. So it’s possible for puppy love to turn into a happily ever after. I agree with your wife, stop telling that kids what to believe. You never know, they might find true love, or at least great material for songs. Like in Olivia’s case. 😂 Great review, thanks for explaining music notes so well.
I was introduced to this song when Music is Win touched on it. I'm a big Paramore fan, so calling them in as a comparison/influence got my attention - and of course, I hear the influence and there's some draw to that, but the chorus on its own wasn't enough to grip me. ...but the contrast between the angst of the verses and the upbeat musicality to the chorus while retaining that cynical outlook actually really sells this song to me. You've convinced me I'm going to give the album a fair shake after all. Thanks!
yes, people already call her repetitive cuz she stuck to this theme for most of the album but like you said, this was 100% her truth at the time and the reason I think it did so well was because it was so real for her which came across EVERY time
It gives me Taylor Smith vibes. Singing for that heartbroken teenage girl that can grow to be a live long fan. $ I'm sorry but I don't see her as very original. Can she play any instruments?
Please react to Maneskin, they're an Italian rock band. If you do so, I recommend you listen to Torna a Casa, La Parole Lontane, and La Paura del Buio (and you should read the lyrics subtitled, they're beautiful)
Hahahah yeah I wish I would have known that love, for the most part, didn’t exist in high school kids will be kids though. Also I’m gonna keeping bugging you about DGD because I’m that way and your videos are amazing. ;) Good day to you gents 😎
I’m also gonna bother you about the band ERRA. They are an amazing proggy metalcore band with AMAZING vocals and AMAZING guitar riffage. I say amazing a lot but I don’t mean it lightly. If you do I’d recommend “Electric Twilight” or “Vanish Canvas” ❤️
Sure it can be familiar with Misery Business cause there's the same chords progression but hey, Paramore does a completely different job... As David tells about the importance of the drummer in a band, Misery Business"s drums are technically insane and gives different levels of dynamics. A 5 by Paramore would be great here !
Listen to Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!- Bitter. Song just came out. Haven't listened to them in a long time. It's such a catchy song. French pop punk. Check it out
subscribed. love your reactions and run down of the music. Could you also react to her other songs? happier and favorite crime for ballad piano/guitar (songwriting is amazing). brutal and jealousy, jealousy for pop/rock.
Maybe you could react to some music of Måneskin, they‘ve won the ESC and have a really nice rock sound! For example Zitti e Buoni and I wanna be your slave
I really like the new second camera angle on the piano playing. I have absolutely no idea how to play a piano and probably wouldn't be able to learn but it's really interesting to see a more technical angle.
She'll be around be awhile. She's got it figured out.
I’m a 24 year old male and I fucking jam to this song with no shame
same!
Lmao I’m 26 and I do the same definitely felt the paramore vibes
25 from germany, and i jam it after 6 hours of see reactions to this song :D
As u should
42 year old punk rocker here, and i dig this kids songwriting. and this song reminds me of yesteryear
You should react to her song Brutal, or really just her entire album!
YESSSS
I totally understand the comparisons to Paramore, but the first time I heard this song I got some serious Kelly Clarkson, "Since U Been Gone" vibes.
"Still Into You" is the reference you were thinking of
Yes!!! Thank you
I’m a metal/rock head but I’m in love with the “Sour” album
Paramore influenced for sure “Misery Business” is the clear comparison.
So glad I wasn’t the only one lol even now I have the urge to sing the Misery Business chorus when I listen to Good 4 u lol and then I sent it to my best friend and was like, “this slaps with Paramore vibes” lol
Yeah the influence is unmistakable
Its nearly a blatant rip off
@@hoju6796 Yea the melody…I think that’s what it’s called is pretty much spot on
It sounds like Misery Business if Hayley could only kind of sing.

She's the no. 1 artist in the world currently.
😂

It’s possible but highly improbable. Good for you but you are the exception!
Can we get a break down of DGD's "Blue Dream" original audio please. It's criminally unknown! ❤

Sooo… what about Viel of Maya- Outsider?
Yeas! Paramore, great songs they have! Btw she reminds me actress Millie Bobby Brown with her facial expressions.
Hahahah yeah I wish I would have known that love, for the most part, didn’t exist in high school kids will be kids though.

Song just came out. Haven't listened to them in a long time. It's such a catchy song.

i noticed you don't have any reactions to rage against the machine, you could try one of their live vids from 1993.
I love them
@@MusicShed Good to know, well if you didn't want to react to them you could try Brass Against's cover of "Wake Up". Really cool.
subscribed. love your reactions and run down of the music. Could you also react to her other songs? happier and favorite crime for ballad piano/guitar (songwriting is amazing). brutal and jealousy, jealousy for pop/rock.
Another amazing reaction video! Who needs therapy if you have David? Now excuse me, I have to listen to won’t get fooled again :D
