He was absolutely brilliant on his guitars .. No one!! No one can touch him as far as that!! And for that matter, go anywhere as far as entertaining & having fun & making sure his fans were too. He wanted us all to be part of his fun. He did it all like a genius that he was. He mastered every instrument (23-25) self taught .. His stage presence deserved all of our attention and he demanded it with his performances. Not only was he very sexy but very mischievous while on stage. I think we really got the most out of him while he was performing. He just exuded magnificence. One of the best conductors, composers, director and musician, lyricists and serious vocalist (artist) ever .. This man could sing opera also. We will never see another Prince in our lifetime .. EVER!!!

Obviously if you know that if you can play those paeticular instruments you can play amy instrument .. He loved Jimi Hendrix & Carlos Santana & Eric Clalton & even Lenny Kravitz and enjoyed jamming with them whenever possible.

True words, except as for Kravitz, Kravitz adores Prince and learned from Prince for sure, besides he is younger and Prince played the guitsr way better than him without any doubt:) the other instruments: piano, synth, shoulder synth, organ, electric-piano - you have to know to play them all, because very different instruments, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, classical guitar, bass (4 string and 5 string!), drums, Linn drum machine, bongos, congas, guiro, claves, syndrums, water drums, syn drums, slapsticks, bongos, finger cymbals, wind chimes, orchestral bells, woodblocks, brush trap, tree bell, tamborine, shaker, cabassa and some more percussion instruments and generally even some more. I would not be surprised if Prince also knew to play Xylophone, Marimba and Vibraphone, there is an unreleased song called "Xylophone". Prince did not only know to play these instruments, he played them all in an unique and awesome way. Hendrix Band of Gypsy's performances are one of the best performances of a guitar player ever imo, but when I heard Prince play the outro of Let's go crazy and the Purple Rain solo, Hendrix became past for me... what a guitar player he was and what was amazing he improved his skills more and more, I adore artists with progessions. Prince played more than 30 instruments. 27 he played on his album "For you"!

Saw this show twice!! First in Raleigh, then this show in Greensboro where you guys can tell Prince was shown the love and he in turn gave it back. Was celebrating my birthday all this week....what a great time....

I was there in Greensboro in March of 2011 after seeing him in my home Town two days earlier it was classic I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity especially with the events that would occur 5years later

Good question but mo of a Joke. This Year i watched All Purple vid's (ben nu bij W2A~EU leg) where morris is back on stage again.
I say again bcause in the W2A~us leg Morris was nowhere on the stage 2 b found. 4 some reason Morris's keyboard rig was set up in the stands !?! (this doesnt really work though)

Purple Rain is the one to skip, great track but overplayed and overrated in my opinion.... an opinion shared by a lot of fellow Prince aficionados actually.. but sorry I don't know exactly what minute it's at.
I think somebody misunderstood my comment about video inside P.P., home of Prince, I wasn't disturbed about mess wrecking by police inv., yet I was referring to pictures where Late Legend was shown when tragic event occured and I will say sgain like in my previous comment that showing on web was wrongful and disrespectful towards late Artist and His family. Again, it is very important what is alright to show for internet viewers, otherwise where are the limits and honor ..., so Insensitive. Thank you.
