Just a thought maybe there's something about keeping Bran from sex wether hearing or seeing it cause lo & behold Bran sees Jamie & Cersei having sex look what happens to him, he is thrown from a window, just saying.
I believe that when osha submits to rob that she actually became Robs spear wife, because of the wildling way of "taking" a woman...which is why she stays loyal to house stark through the rest of the story
I think northerners bend the knee to the starks out of deep respect and ever lasting thankfulness. There's a reason everyone flocks to winterfell in winter. The starks keep their people alive, they seem to value the lives of their common folk more than others. People remember strength and kindness for longer than anything else.
I wonder why it never occurred to Ned and Robert, that Theon's value as a hostage was not significant: his father was preparing for was against the North prior to Theon's release, and was just waiting for a chance when the North was unprotected.
I understand the reason Rob got at Theon about making cat calls at girls in front of Bran. Yes the violence he saw can be extreme, but he is a young lord, he has to be prepared for that, seeing and carrying out the sentence himself. Far as girls, Rob was right because think about it, is that the way you want boys to learn how to approach girls? Though Bran heard him, Theon is not the one Bran she learn or be influenced by when it comes to females. I enjoy your videos very much 👍🏽
Came of across your channel and started binge watching your content. It's great! I am actually going to start reading the novels, I enjoy the story so much.
I'm glad you mentioned the three-eyed crow taking that memory from Bran for an unknown purpose. I think a very similar thing happened to then Prince Maekar during Dunc's trial by Seven at Ashford. I suspect Maekar was used to kill his older brother Baelor to protect the required blood line that would produce the Prince (or princess) that was promised. Which as we know can be traced through Maekar himself. Whenever Maekar tries to recall hitting Baelor he can't, and it gives me all the same vibes as Bran trying to remember who pushed him. Perhaps Maekar's memory was tampered with like Bran's, but it was more or less a covert mercy in exchange for doing this horrific but necessary act. Even though Maekar still held himself responsible for killing Baelor, at least he doesn't relive the moment over and over since he can't remember it. I wonder if Bran's memory being taken has less to do w/Bran than it does with Jaime; and maybe the 3EC needs Jaime to live long enough to do something. Which he obviously wouldn't if Bran identified him as the person that pushed him.
I feel like maybe Bran will be the character that reminds people of who they are when they get lost. He could bring tyrion back to the light, could bring jon back to his body etc. hes the only one who can see people for who they really are
Though it wasnt his fault Bran as a King wouldnt work, He said himself that he wasnt Bran anymore that he was the 3 eyed raven now. His fall and his rise to King of westeros was so real to the tv storyline.
Through BloodRaven it makes since he has been manipulating things since he was Hand of the King the first time. His worst manipulation is Lyanna Stark & Rheagar Targaryen that caused a Civil War that still hurt Westeroes til this day.
Rewatching season 1 of Game of Thrones and oddly enough Grand Maester Pycelle was right about Sansa, she turned out to be a traitor after all in the end.
On Bloodraven's avatar debate...When Melisandre and Bloodraven see each other through the flames, he seems to appear as a weirwood tree and not a crow: "A face took shape within the hearth...A wooden face, corpse white. Was this the enemy? A thousand red eyes floated in the rising flames..." Being the tree also comports w/Bloodraven's own admission that he's watched Bran since Bran was born, and Bran recalling a tree being present in his dreams for years. The crow was only a recent fixture. Because of all this I tend to believe BR is the weirwood tree and not the crow, but that's just me🤷♀️.
Love this series!!! ❤- idk if anyone said this, but I think Bran is required to watch Ned behead the presumed Night's Watch "deserter" because it's not murder it's "justice". It's hard but he may be responsible to carry out such justice so he needed to watch. Regarding the catcalling, I think that while Jon is supposed to be Ned's bastard lacking self control and bedding random women isn't considered honorable or acceptable among these Starks (w/ Ned as the Head) so that is just poor modeling. Besides chasing after women too soon can get a man in trouble. Robb will find out.
Maybe the kneeling for Rob and Bran is foreshadowing fo King Rob and King Bran. I like the idea of the raven/wolf connection. If "all crows are liars" like Old Nan says, does that mean we the three eyed crow, Euron, and all members of the Night's Watch aren't to be trusted. Why doesn't Bran ever use his horse and saddle again after this chapter. Other than being left alone and getting attacked, the saddle and horse worked.
Just peeped your vid i think your on to something with weirwood spirit wich is many are all connected and tha crows & Dire wolves Bloodraven are all part of that spirit. Were tha Others are tha Flip side of that .You rocked that shit Gray thnx.
I'm wondering if Bran is kind of like the character from the book The Giver. If you have ever read it The Giver has to give all of these memories, well he store them for everyone, all the memories of the world then he gives them to the Receiver and I feel like the Receiver is Bran from Bloodraven
Weir-fi towers (weirwoods) are close so I think Bloodraven probably can connect to those trained Ravens. Anything spoken near them would probably be picked up by him. There might be some information bleed picked up by the wolves seeing they are so connect to that kind of magic.
After reading The Ice Dragon, I can't help but see foreshadowing for Bran finding one in one of those caves or crypts. The whole setting seems to be parallel. Tying into the chapter specifically, the wildlings north of the Wall call the people of the North "kneelers". Maybe there is more to the story.
@@shuura Ok thank you, I just missed that!!! Also, you're probably right too, she had another episode a while back where I noticed that she made a similar mistake... It's ok though, we're all human lol!!!
Same. I feel like the end won't be Bran sitting the throne but Bloodraven sitting the throne while wearing Bran's skin. Given how many homages George makes to the fantasy and sci-fi writers of his youth I can definitely see him implementing some Invasion of the Body Snatchers style shenanigans.
Fenrir is nothing, Loki turned into a lady horse and was banged by a stallion because the gods wanted to screw over a guy building a wall so they didn't need to pay him, and then Loki gave his horse baby to his dad to ride around on.
"So you like bran?"
"Yeah."
"Did you like King Bran?"
"NO!"
Haha same honestly😂
Please keep doing this podcast. Can’t wait till we get to feast and dance
It's a show of respect.
I love your vids!! Thankyou so much! I especially love it when you get off track !!! 😘🙄😊🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂

They also showed mercy AND strength, it was an upgrade.

It makes more sense in the context of Dunk and Egg. Bloodraven had a special puppet master role above any king, that's where I see Bran heading.
Through BloodRaven it makes since he has been manipulating things since he was Hand of the King the first time. His worst manipulation is Lyanna Stark & Rheagar Targaryen that caused a Civil War that still hurt Westeroes til this day.
Love having another fellow Arya fan discussing the chapter this week! I've been following queenaryastark on tumblr for a long while now. :D
I'm thinking Rob not wanting theon to flirt with chicks in front of bran could be more about not making bran feel bad about not being able to smash

Also, I think that there always need to be a "3 eye raven" jacked into the weirwood net.
All Bran gotta do is worg Drogon and Danny can just come down off her power trip a bit. You ain’t shit.
It's bloodraven he is secretly behind everything
They bend the knee because the Starks were the King's of Winter!

Just an FYI, you have "Bran VI" in the video title. Thanks for this amazing podcast!!
Which chapter should it be?
@@ejsmith2246 V. She even begins with saying Bran V. Unless I heard wrong... it's possible.

Robb needed Jon by his side. Bran is too young.
~14:00 Ned is the head of the pack. Simple as that.
I would love some videos on northern myth
I still think theres something nefarious about bloodraven and i feel like hes gonna take over brans body or smth.
