    Hello,
I am reading through your website I just wanted to thank you for all the time and effort you have put into helping others. I am a mother of a toddler and a 7 year old. I know nothing about skiing in Switzerland but I really wanted to have a 4 days trip with my lil ones in a ski resort. I have been searching for about a week now and there seems to be too much to learn I’m confused and overwhelmed. In your website you even mention which bus stop to take to arrive to the resort easily ❤❤❤ Thank youuu!!! This is extremely helpful. Bless you and your loved ones

Great informative video. We are planning a ski trip on December 30 (family returning skiers), do you recommend going skiing in Crans Montana, or Arosa-Lenzerheild?

I hereby nominate you for Minister of Swiss Alpine Utilization. (Which, knowing something about them, sounds like a position they might actually already have. ;-)

Hi Tanya. Thank you for the great info. I’m planning a ski holiday in late dec from Singapore. Please advise where I can go for good shopping in Switzerland if I choose Saas Fee resort. Also where will I be able to rent the equipments necessary? Family with 3 kids (aged 16-24)

Great video. Exactly what I was looking for. I am looking at booking my 2020 ski trip for the week after Christmas in Zermatt (yes, I am looking at booking a year out). I was concerned about snow coverage, but it sounds like you think I should be ok. My only other hesitation is that all the hotels have a 7 night minimum for the week after Christmas. I would prefer 5 or 6 nights. I will be traveling with my wife and our two sons (ages 10 and 12). My boys are good skiers, but my wife does not ski so I am worried that she may be bored if we ski 6 days. If we go for 7 nights, I think we will need to take a day or two off skiing to do something with her. Any ideas on non-ski activities in Zermatt in the winter? Thanks for the video.

Thanks! You are not too early for booking Christmas 2020. Many people do it a year in advance. Zermatt is a great choice for that time of year. Yes, many accommodations require a 7 night stay during high season. If you stay in Zermatt 7 nights, you could take the train to other areas like Aletsch Arena or Saas Fee if you felt like that was too much in the same place. For your wife, there are many winter walks that are groomed, meaning you don't usually need snowshoes. www.zermatt.ch/en/winter-hiking-snowshoeing/Winter-hiking-trails She could try a long sled run, a little crazy but fun. Here's one in the Zermatt area www.gornergratbahn.ch/en/winter/special-offers/toboggan-fun-on-the-gornergrat/
Most mountain viewpoints have restaurants with lounge chairs and blankets where non-skiers often go to simply soak in the sun and views and enjoy a hot drink. She could explore each mountain area of Zermatt in this way, perhaps take a book with her. You could meet her for lunch at one, so she's not so lonely. You might consider booking a hotel with spa services and an indoor pool. Or she might like the thermals baths here: thermalbad-wallis.ch/en/ It's about 1hr30 by train to the Briggerbad baths. Zermatt does have some nice window shopping, but it still is a small village. She could take the train one day to Bern (about 2hr) and visit some museums there. There are beautiful views along the way as well, so the journey is part of the fun.
I hope these tips help. Wishing you a wonderful trip!

I've been checking them. I wish I was in Saas Fee right now! Let's hope it keeps snowing all the way through Christmas.
