    Thank you so much for making this look so easy, even letting us see the "ooops and things you did instead of". You let us know that we don't have to be Perfect Perfect. And it came out beautifully. I can't wait to make one for my new grandbaby boy.🥰

    Thank you. I just downloaded the pattern and I can't wait to get started. I love your video because you are so down to earth and you keep the bloopers in. It's fun to see how human you are. You are terrific at sewing and thank you very very much for sharing your talents with us! Love and hugs from Oregon!

      Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this comment Pearl! I'm very much behind in editing and publishing videos, but you will be happy to know that I've already filmed the 0-3 month pants, onesie, and sleeper, and am currently working on the 3-6 month patterns :-)

    Thank you so much for the pattern. The instructions were spot on. A more simple way to remove snaps that have been placed incorrectly is to use a staple remover. It works great!

      Oooh the staple remover is a great idea. I'll have to remember that one!

    you are a rockstar!....4 kids and a baby on the way and teaching us how to sew sleepers! If I wanted too just do a cuff, instead of the footed version, would I just cut it straight across all pieces at the botton?

      Your neck line pattern is printed out way different than the one in video or showing on pfd?

      Your welcome :-) I will try to keep the snap idea in mind for future projects. I always like a good challenge so thank you for the suggestion!

      Oh no! Let me go print off and see if something went awry in the pdf conversion process. I was trying to get fancy and have all the pages print at once... hopefully this didn't mess it all up.

      Ok I just double checked and the pattern is true to size. Can you explain a little more what's going on and I'll see I can figure out a way to help? Sorry you're having trouble.

    Did you use stretch thread? I was thinking the straight stitching could break if not using stretch thread?

    TIP: if you are using a design that has a direction that matters, pay attention to the neck piece. Depending which way you sew it on the pattern could be right side up on the inside or the outside of the neck. So depends what you want.

    I can only find a 14” zipper locally. Will that work for this pattern? 😊

    • @modernhomemakers
      @modernhomemakers  Год назад

      It might get a little tricky, but I say be creative with what you have on hand! I often use zippers that are too long and just stitch over it repeatedly to reinforce. So you will probably need to do a straight stitch past the zipper section if the zipper is too short.
