Your tutorials are honestly the only ones I can bear watching the whole thing without being annoyed. I love your authentic and detailed advice and visuals for creating a great outcome. Thank you so much
Thank you so much for making this look so easy, even letting us see the "ooops and things you did instead of". You let us know that we don't have to be Perfect Perfect. And it came out beautifully. I can't wait to make one for my new grandbaby boy.🥰
Thank you. I just downloaded the pattern and I can't wait to get started. I love your video because you are so down to earth and you keep the bloopers in. It's fun to see how human you are. You are terrific at sewing and thank you very very much for sharing your talents with us! Love and hugs from Oregon!
You are such an angel! Thank you for sharing your pattern! 💗 I have been searching for newborn sleepers for days and they all come with a price 😢. Great thing I found your video 😌. Will be sewing this for my very first nephew! So much love for you and your channel! 💗 will be waiting for your future uploads
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this comment Pearl! I'm very much behind in editing and publishing videos, but you will be happy to know that I've already filmed the 0-3 month pants, onesie, and sleeper, and am currently working on the 3-6 month patterns :-)
Thank you so much for the pattern. The instructions were spot on. A more simple way to remove snaps that have been placed incorrectly is to use a staple remover. It works great!
HELLO, I LOVE YOUR BABY SLEEPER. YOU EXPLAIN EVERYTHING SO THOROUGHLY. I WILL MAKE SOME. NOW I WILL NEED 3 TO 6 MO PATTERN NOW. TO GO ALONG WITH THIS NEWBORN. I HAVE A GRANDBABY THATS 2MO. I'M LATE FINDING YOUR TUTORIAL. I DO KNOW A FRIEND WITH A NEWBORN GRANDSON.
nice work..iunderstand the delema of the metal peice you droke your needle on i remove those with small needle nose plyers and sew a tail with garmet matching fabric so it ties in and cut off excess fabric. nice work you do...i did subscribe...
you are a rockstar!....4 kids and a baby on the way and teaching us how to sew sleepers! If I wanted too just do a cuff, instead of the footed version, would I just cut it straight across all pieces at the botton?
Oh no! Let me go print off and see if something went awry in the pdf conversion process. I was trying to get fancy and have all the pages print at once... hopefully this didn't mess it all up.
Ok I just double checked and the pattern is true to size. Can you explain a little more what's going on and I'll see I can figure out a way to help? Sorry you're having trouble.
A little sad.. I was excited to make this but for some reason the pattern I printed was wayyyy off. I tried to make adjustments but it didn't work. I still learned something though so thanks for sharing.
I have the singer heavy duty mines have the window one that the one I have I bought from Joann’s a long time ago and still new I use about one time that all I don’t have what you have on your mine like I say had the window and the number bottoms under it and it have thread cutter the hold nine yards on mine it cost a little bit more I want sent a pic to show wish one I have and I use my singer stylist serger and I have one bye brother to and I just bought a Juki 8700 I have 50 sewing machines yes 50 and I just bought a 15 needle embroidery machine too
It might get a little tricky, but I say be creative with what you have on hand! I often use zippers that are too long and just stitch over it repeatedly to reinforce. So you will probably need to do a straight stitch past the zipper section if the zipper is too short.
TIP: if you are using a design that has a direction that matters, pay attention to the neck piece. Depending which way you sew it on the pattern could be right side up on the inside or the outside of the neck. So depends what you want.
Oh no! Sorry I'm so slow to respond to this. This is the link. If you scroll to the bottom of the post there's a download button with the pdf of the free pattern. I hope that helps! modernhomemakers.com/2022/01/newborn-sleeper-pattern-free-sewing-pattern/

Hi I made one for my grand daughter thank you
Thank you for this adorable pattern.
I wish you would make a variant with snap buttons instead of zippers 🥰. Your little girl is absolutely adorable 😊
Your neck line pattern is printed out way different than the one in video or showing on pfd?
Your welcome :-) I will try to keep the snap idea in mind for future projects. I always like a good challenge so thank you for the suggestion!

Thank you for the free pattern and tutorial. Unfortunately my grandson is almost 4 months old now. What a pity! Do you have a bigger size, please?
you could just print it all on bigger paper
HI!! THANK YOU!!!
Did you make bigger sizes yet??? My last baby was 9.7 so I'm nervous to make a newborn size for this baby lol.
Did you use stretch thread? I was thinking the straight stitching could break if not using stretch thread?
great video and thank you for the pattern. however i wish video was shorter
Thank you very much
I am trying to find a small or preemie size baby pattern, Do you have any suggesstions ?
it won’t let me download the pattern and i really want to make one for my baby 😩
PLEASE HELP!! When I try to print this pattern it shows markings.... not like the one pictured, please help
The website did not want to use my cards
niceeeeeeeee...........on what paper size should I print it on?
Trupti, I printed it out on 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper, and it worked just fine. It took nine pages.
So glad it worked for you :-) I was starting to get worried my file was messed up!

can you show ppl how to make the patrern bigger? i beleive a size bigger means add a half inch all around for the next size up..
I can only find a 14” zipper locally. Will that work for this pattern? 😊
It might get a little tricky, but I say be creative with what you have on hand! I often use zippers that are too long and just stitch over it repeatedly to reinforce. So you will probably need to do a straight stitch past the zipper section if the zipper is too short.
I also have a link in the description for buying them online.

Also the arms!
🤩👏
I can't find the pattern
