Hi, beautiful little suit and great work. Why did you say 'Please don't iron on the fold". I would like to know the reason, because in have never done this, but would have ironed it, before thinking. You were referring to the cuff. Thank you.
Thank you. Valuable information for me. Could see you were using Birch fabric for romper , could you tell me what fabric you used for facings please. Would you use the same weight. Thank you.
Thanks doing these tutorials, I just love ❤️ them and have learned a lot. At the end of this video you show a dungaree/romper, it seems to me made in woven fabric and has snaps on the sides, but I can’t find the pattern nor the tutorial. Please can you tell me where I can find it!
Hi Natisa, I only use zig-zag if stretch is applied widthways, like the waist. Everything else will stretch a bit as you sew anyway and the thread will be just fine. :)
Its a bit tricky in this. I don't think it ever looks all that nice in Jersey. The buttonholes also stretch to no end. I wouldn't do that unless you are using a stretch denim perhaps.
Hi! Lovely video, so clear. I am only starting my sewing journey and I am not familiar with fabrics. What is this stretchy type of fabric called? I tried searching "two way stretch" fabric in the fabricworm website and doesn't seem right. Thank you.
Amazing! Love this video. Very helpful and very good quality sewing. What all do you add a gusset too? Like shorts, dungies, and other things like that?
Sorry for the late reply, this can be reversible the only issue is the closure. If you work it with a button and buttonhole it should be fine. Just double up instead of having just a facing.
Will this pattern work with cotton fabric rather than stretch fabric? I'm new to sewing. I think I can make these but want to check fabrics. Thank you.
I’ve paid for the order and managed to print but the site keeps logging me off and I’m unable to watch the videos as it keep saying I’m not logged in... very frustrating
Made these for my grandchildren and they are sooooo cute.
Love your scissors!

Perfect timing. Two babies due in our family by the end of the year. Good to see you back.

I wonder if I can make these without an overlocker? Great video thank you

I’m a very new sewer and I look forward to learning from you
I love the name dungies.
Thank you, is it a pinafore or is it a pair of dungarees? Hence Dungies lol. Doesn't quite make sense but I felt they needed a name.
Hello I am Wanda a new subscriber, It was a fun Video. I am a reborn doll collector and want to make baby clothes for them
Thank you. Valuable information for me. Could see you were using Birch fabric for romper , could you tell me what fabric you used for facings please. Would you use the same weight. Thank you.

Oh that one is still coming, I ran out of time and wasn't 100% happy with the fit. So its still on the bench.
That's adorable but do you have to take the whole thing off when you go to change their diapers?
Yes, you do. I do pattern with snap closure but they aren't beginner friendly, so this is one for absolute beginners.
Oh how cute. Is DIN A4 the same as UK A4 (regular A4 printer) please? I’m seriously tempted to try this pattern 💕 x
Yes it is the same.
I love your video. Are there any measures? I would love to do it by myself. Thanks in advance.
No, sorry
Great job thank you for sharing xxxx
hi, please can you tell me where I can get this lovely pattern.
Do you sew your stretch material with a straight stitch
Hi these look great. Are you not using zig zag stitches for the knit fabric? I wonder if the stitches will break if they stretch
Hi Natisa, I only use zig-zag if stretch is applied widthways, like the waist. Everything else will stretch a bit as you sew anyway and the thread will be just fine. :)
How do you change diaper without leg opening? Do you have to take the entire garment off?
Yes for this one you do. It's a beginners romper this makes it easier. With the top being very quickly opened and slipped off it's not so bad.
Do you have a video to show how to insert buttonholes?
Its a bit tricky in this. I don't think it ever looks all that nice in Jersey. The buttonholes also stretch to no end. I wouldn't do that unless you are using a stretch denim perhaps.

So sorry for the late reply. Try Interlock, they do a lot of that. It stretches in both directions.
Amazing! Love this video. Very helpful and very good quality sewing. What all do you add a gusset too? Like shorts, dungies, and other things like that?
Hermoso
Is jersey fabric best for this? Also how much fabric in metres will be needed?
Lovely x
How would you go about making this a reversible piece?
Sorry for the late reply, this can be reversible the only issue is the closure. If you work it with a button and buttonhole it should be fine. Just double up instead of having just a facing.
What fabric are you using please?
Love this so much that I’ve just bought the pattern! How many meters of fabric would I need to make a 18-24 month size please?
Just one time length. So about 50 cm
Frocks & Frolics Sewing Patterns Thank you!
I love these but there’s no poppers in the bottom to change the nappy??
No, this is meant to be super easy. As you have the poppers at the neckline its no drama taking it off quickly.
Are you using a straight stitch?
I've paid for my order but no pdf was sent or is available on my account, how long does it take?
I went to the site and couldn't even find it ): I wanted to make this for a friend who I just found out is having a baby
Do you have any suggestions for a certain sewing machine ?
Will this pattern work with cotton fabric rather than stretch fabric? I'm new to sewing. I think I can make these but want to check fabrics. Thank you.
No you do need a stable interlock. Its not hard to work with. Go for it.
Can't download the pattern 😕

Don't like sewing over the pins --bad example to beginner sewers
