    Loved the Dungies? Maybe you now have skillage in the village 😘. Step up your game and sew a proper pair of dungarees. I named them Bobby Dazzler, because they do dazzle 😘. You can watch the playlist here: ruclips.net/p/PLlWbGLMyFtwHJHMeTQTcDeD8k_OxE-qJH and if you want to get started right away with this awesome overalls then get the pattern here: www.frocksandfrolics.com/baby-and-toddler-sewing-patterns/

    Hi, beautiful little suit and great work. Why did you say 'Please don't iron on the fold". I would like to know the reason, because in have never done this, but would have ironed it, before thinking. You were referring to the cuff. Thank you.

      Thank you, is it a pinafore or is it a pair of dungarees? Hence Dungies lol. Doesn't quite make sense but I felt they needed a name.

    Thank you. Valuable information for me. Could see you were using Birch fabric for romper , could you tell me what fabric you used for facings please. Would you use the same weight. Thank you.

    Thanks doing these tutorials, I just love ❤️ them and have learned a lot.
    At the end of this video you show a dungaree/romper, it seems to me made in woven fabric and has snaps on the sides, but I can’t find the pattern nor the tutorial. Please can you tell me where I can find it!

      Oh that one is still coming, I ran out of time and wasn't 100% happy with the fit. So its still on the bench.

    That's adorable but do you have to take the whole thing off when you go to change their diapers?

    • @MarinaBrumpton
      @MarinaBrumpton  2 года назад

      Yes, you do. I do pattern with snap closure but they aren't beginner friendly, so this is one for absolute beginners.

    Do you sew your stretch material with a straight stitch

  • @MsWill8158
    @MsWill8158 5 лет назад +2

    Hi these look great. Are you not using zig zag stitches for the knit fabric? I wonder if the stitches will break if they stretch

    • @MarinaBrumpton
      @MarinaBrumpton  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Natisa, I only use zig-zag if stretch is applied widthways, like the waist. Everything else will stretch a bit as you sew anyway and the thread will be just fine. :)

    How do you change diaper without leg opening? Do you have to take the entire garment off?

    • @MarinaBrumpton
      @MarinaBrumpton  11 месяцев назад

      Yes for this one you do. It's a beginners romper this makes it easier. With the top being very quickly opened and slipped off it's not so bad.

    Do you have a video to show how to insert buttonholes?

    • @MarinaBrumpton
      @MarinaBrumpton  4 месяца назад

      Its a bit tricky in this. I don't think it ever looks all that nice in Jersey. The buttonholes also stretch to no end. I wouldn't do that unless you are using a stretch denim perhaps.

    Hi! Lovely video, so clear. I am only starting my sewing journey and I am not familiar with fabrics. What is this stretchy type of fabric called? I tried searching "two way stretch" fabric in the fabricworm website and doesn't seem right. Thank you.

    • @MarinaBrumpton
      @MarinaBrumpton  Год назад +1

      So sorry for the late reply. Try Interlock, they do a lot of that. It stretches in both directions.

    How would you go about making this a reversible piece?

    • @MarinaBrumpton
      @MarinaBrumpton  2 года назад

      Sorry for the late reply, this can be reversible the only issue is the closure. If you work it with a button and buttonhole it should be fine. Just double up instead of having just a facing.
