Thank you sir. Wonderful explanation of not only loft, but how adjusting that impacts lie angle and possibly having an effect on open or closed club face.
I have one question, when changing the Degrees. Does the SHAFT stay the same when lining it up for your shot? meaning the Shaft doesn't rotate around from the Center of the Grip correct? Which pointed down the Center to the Head..
The “pxg” setting is an awesome secret weapon to kill hooks. Pxg needs to do a much better job advertising that feature and explaining how to use all the settings
First of all, I am a fairly new senior golfer, only been playing for about 8 years. Normally I was hitting my driver about 165-175 years pretty consistence. I got my “PXG 0211” last week and used it for the first time this week (5/07/21). On my first outing I added about “20 years” to my drives which are now about 185-195 yards. This seems to be a great driver and I am sure my distance will improve “lots” as I get more practice with it. Great driver….PXG, keep up the good work!
These adjustable sleeves definitely work. I have the PXG Gen 4 0811 XP in 7.5*. I am a high ball hitter and tend to generate a bit more spin than I would like. For reference, my miss is a snap hook. I put it in the small minus setting which makes my club 6.5* loft with a half degree flatter lie. This definitely brought my ball flight down and I am now hitting it further than any driver I've ever hit and straighter too. PXG has done a great job with their equipment!
Thanks MN! Love this. This is where the Proto and Gen4 PXG drivers allow for the weights...especially the Proto (4weight) ports, to dial in gearing and feel/rate on face closure.
you prolly dont care at all but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost the account password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me!
@Hendrix Hayes I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and im trying it out now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Good video. Only thing that would’ve made it even better is if you did a screen shot of the numbers with the different settings. I think the adjustments increased spin. I found the best setting for myself is the standard as well. Keep up the good content 💪🏻!
Thank you for this video! This far more informative than even the videos PXG put out on this topic! I wish I'd known there was no way to adjust more to a draw bias when I bought the club. Guess I'll have to fix it the old fashioned way....fix my swing! keep up the good work!
I have the same driver…for draw bias change the movable weights on the head, or the heaviest on the heel of driver. You can buy even heavier weights from pxg…it came with 2 2 gram and one 10 gram weights
This is the video I've been looking for...my 0211 3w only goes 270 and I think I can get more but without a great video like this it's not possible..thanks for the testing
Thanks Mike, that was very interesting. I had always been led to believe that as you added loft on the neck-sleeve you closed the face angle, whilst if you decreased the loft you opened the face. I hadn't realised that PXG's neck sleeve works differently from the PING sleeve,
@@IlliniDog01 Personally, I have always gripped my driver slightly closed (to guard against a fade) and my wedges slightly open to prevent a left miss. it has always worked for me👍
Same here. I assumed that by putting it on the big plus setting I was closing the face and creating a draw bias, type setting. Back to the drawing board I guess. Sadly, the big plus setting seem to work for me to avoid the slice. And I’m a Leftie who is right handed. So I’m up against it no matter what.
I have one and I love it. I was set to fit and buy a Titelist TSI 2 and Rick Shiels deomoed this one. Guy had 2, in the box and sold me one for $200. USD. I changed the shaft to the 50 gram Evenflow Riptide. R flex. 44 inches. Sold the 60gram S for $100. USD. Not a bad deal.
Thanks for the explanation and graphic. So it appears the standard setting is the most upright, and PXG says it is 60*, with any changes to loft making it flatter.
Thanks Mike, interesting video. But can you advise if PXG use the same neck sleeve for the lefthanded driver? Callaway use a sleeve with an underscore marking on the setting to distinguish it from a right handed sleeve?
Appreciate this video is a year old, but I’ve just ordered an 0211 so this is perfect for me. Possibly stupid question: if the face becomes open or closed after adjusting loft, surely you just tweak your grip so it’s square at address? Am I being thick?!
Turns out when I adjust to PXG I hit high lofty fades/slices that tend to not carry as far. Looks like I will hit the range and work on the standard setting more
i adjusted my loft from 1.5 back .o5 above neutral loft setting-this did not produce any change in my hooking the ball too the right .This Head is forgivable i was able too hit straight 250 yards down fairway even though ball made contact closer too the heel of the face of club head
I've been playing a 9 degree Mizuno MP-001 Driver with an Exsar Sixty Regular flex shaft for several years now and it has always served me well. It appears to be developing a crack in the crown so I decided to ask for a PXG 0211 for Christmas because of the good reviews and crazy low price. My parents bought me one in 9 degrees with the Mitsubishi Diamana S+ Regular Flex Shaft. I'm short (5'7") and normally play 15-yard fade with my driver when I want to find the fairway consistently. I carry about 265 on average and occasionally smoke one over 300. My miss is a pull hook when I get tight/nervous and let my hands get in front of my upper half. I wonder which of the Standard position or the PXG position with the -3 degree of lie would be better for me. The grip being upside down for the PXG setting would likely drive me nuts, but I guess results are more important. I guess I'll try to find out when it warms up which position I prefer.
Mine took 9 weeks, mainly due to a covid outbreak in the UK that closed the factory so had to get them shipped from USA. Hopefully it shouldn't take that long now.
@@oldhdv You're quite right....I called them in the UK today, and they're back to normal now, after having to shut down their UK facility due to a Covid outbreak as you say....They're now quoting 4-5 weeks due to their UK facility back open.
Great video mate, I just got 0211 for me tends to fade. Not sure why it’s different for you, you do know your lead heel comes off on the back swing, right?
Hands down the best explanation of how to adjust the 0211 driver. Thank you.
This is one of the best demos on how to adjust the PXG driver and other woods-hybrids that I have seen. Great job Michael.

Very well done! Comprehensive and easy to follow. Great video!

Hi Michael could you do a similar video for the current Ping G425 please.

Great video Michael, it gives me a more understanding of how the driver neck sleeve works and how it changes the strike.
I play the Tour Edge EXS Pro 9.5 set to 7.5 and 58 degree lie (1 degree upright). I tend to launch too high in the 9.5 neutral setting. Great video!
Great explanation Michael. I like a neutral setting like yourself but the variety of options for loft and lie can only be helpful.
This is the video I've been looking for...my 0211 3w only goes 270 and I think I can get more but without a great video like this it's not possible..thanks for the testing
Glad I could help
Thanks now I know more pxg did not send any information about this

This has always confused me. Why wouldn't you just turn the club a bit in your hands to square the face?

Informative video and have purchased the driver
thanks. very helpful!
Just got this Driver for 130$ delivered including tax from Amazon. I cant believe what a good deal this was
Very interesting, mine is on its way finally this will help me big time settling it up thanks 👍
Very informative video, an I been looking at getting one off these 0211 drivers, gonna book a fitting.
Thanks. Looking forward to mine arriving.
Have they started to assemble yours yet it’s been almost 14 business days and they haven’t even started mine

thanks Michael, could you please do the same with Cobra and the new ping driver
Subscribed to both
Thanks Mike, interesting video. But can you advise if PXG use the same neck sleeve for the lefthanded driver? Callaway use a sleeve with an underscore marking on the setting to distinguish it from a right handed sleeve?
PXG definitely has Left Hand neck sleeve. How can you tell? If the + sign is on the left side of the standard setting, then it's a left hand sleeve.
I’m a lefty and have issues with slicing left. How should I adjust my club head model 0211
Great video, please do a video on the new tour edge with all stock shafts
i tried taking the shaft off my 0211 (2021) but i think it’s stuck. did you just have to yank it out?
getting a 0211 next week

Curious, how's your pxg driver? I'm looking at getting a 0211 or a gen4. Any updates would be appreciated
I know this comment is a bit late but nice review . 1 question is if I put a L/H sleeve on for a R/H player does that start raising the lie .
it reverses from the right hand
I'm still waiting for my PXG driver I placed order on 23rd of Feb
Does this loft lie chart apply to hybrids and woods as well?
So the lie goes flatter even if you add loft?
Turns out when I adjust to PXG I hit high lofty fades/slices that tend to not carry as far. Looks like I will hit the range and work on the standard setting more
does the fairway wood have the same settings on the hosel?

Couldn’t just regrip open or close to achieve the same results?
Next Monday my new PXG0211 arrives. At $289 there is no better option for a senior player....
So it took them 3 months to get u the club ???
Hi Michael,
Just ordered the 0211 how long does it take on average to get the driver sent....

can i change the neck setting during a tournament or am i locked into the setting on first tee?
So no upright setting... how sad.
But the shaft is turning to ! I don’t like that at all
In reality for most this equals TMI !!!!
