Also as someone else who has been watching House of the Dragon I had a absolutely brain meltdown at the last episode holy shit it was a lot- I am also devastated about having to wait till 2024 but stuff takes time and if we get more good dragon content I'm down for waiting as long as it takes.

I've never had cats (my parents are very allergic) but from what I *do* know, the executive producer may be so interested in your scissors because of the mirroring thing that cats do, it might help if you got her her own pair of (fake, not-sharp) scissors for her to play with while you cut things

I craft dnd terrain and whenever I have to paint foam I coat it in a layer of modpodge first and then spray paint it. You can also mix black paint into the modpodge first if you're planning to make it a dark color. Modpodge and then spray paint is what I would have recommended for the pool noodle situation.

For your witch hat you could try putting a veil on the brim all the way around. The veil could be a whitish see through so it looks like cobwebs. :)
