Talking though from a programmers background; meaning that maybe it is not worth your time for looking for troubleshooting linux if there is not the case that you will use it in depth and in general, later. Nobody remembers all the commands on the top of their head they just know where to look for them again.
@@emmanouildeoudes5846 thanks for your insights and reply; since the time I wrote that initial comment nine months ago; I built Linux based system on Unbuntu 20.4 LTS; and managed to get some updates and packages installed; but still only use it on a limited basis; I tried mining on it, and it was mining; but couldn't find the terminal that shows the mining satistics; but I knew it was mining because it showed on the pool dashboard and the cards heated up; so for now I use it for watching amazon prime videos; and youtube tv; and oddly enough a coupon code showed up to get 80% off a Mastering Linux Udemy 11 hour video instruction course; so I paid like $8 bucks and and now just need to take the time to plant myself in a chair long enough to absorb the content; I also setup smos on one rig and it perfroms extremely well; matter of fact I plugged in a few Innosilicon A4+ Scrypt miners back in to earn Litecoin to feed SMOS; becaue that is what SMOS prefers to snack on to keep running; conversation, it costs about $2 bucks a month; I guess a lot of people use hiveOS because you get a free rig; but I plan to detox five more rigs from windows and get them hooked on smos too.
Peace
Well, just maybe that why I had such a hard time trying to install video drivers since you don't have to; I am slowly but surely migrating from Windows to Linux; and should complete the enitre process some where between dementia in geriatrics!
Peace
Thx
Obrigado
It's funny how everybody always need to justify why they use Nicehash ;)
I know right. I feel like I have to explain every time :)
I really appreciate this video, but it's 4 minutes in and you're still talking about why nice hash and what not to do -- maybe the title should be what not to do and why :D
hhmmm, good feedback. I'll work on it in the future. Thanks for watching!
You talk like we have all fucking day to hear your essay
I switched my miner from hive pool to nicehash pool a few ago. I see my miner is up and running but i don’t see anyway of actually tracking how much rewards i have received 😒
Hey, it is in the dashboard. You can drill into daily earnings and even down to every few hours.
Thanks a lot!!!
