idk if reolink will be reading these comments, but if they are here.. Use your dual lens engineering to make a dual lens wifi/poe doorbell (forward facing and down camera for packages). I think it'd be great alternative to unifi's doorbell camera

I decided on reolink in 2021 when we installed 5 cameras and the nvr. No problems to report. The biggest selling point for me was no subscriptions and local control. We are now moving and we’ll be installing reolink again including the doorbell.

How about a full line of security devices? Smart door locks, window sensors, Alarm with kepad for home entry, smoke/fire detectors, water flow device, motion sensors without camera, ect..

I installed a Reolink POE system using (6) CX410 cameras connected to an 8-channel Reolink RLN8-410 NVR. I am extremely pleased with the performance of the cameras, NVR, and especially the AI software. The camera clarity and brightness at night is excellent. I like the spotlight feature that turns on if motion is detected. The NVR software is excellent and the GUI interface is easy to navigate around the system. The AI software is amazingly accurate with no false alerts. The AI software can tell the difference between a animal, person, and vehicle. I give Reolink high marks for providing accurate AI software for free. I hope they don't start charging for it because it's a big selling point. The quality of their products are comparable to a high end system. Great job Reolink! Great video Raid Owl!

Many years myslef in between Dlink Dahua Tapo and now i am going to through them all away and get the new lineup! I am in Greece but you have helped massively with your videos! Plus the NVR i hope will be much better than the ones mentioned above it was really painful to check the recorded videos(cross platform etc as well...)

Cool, but they still have not addressed:
    • absence of rich notifications
    • automatic firmware updating
    • their dated UI (on both app & desktop)

I was curious too, so i found the CES product book online and its a Reolink Home Hub Pro. Designed for their battery powered cameras and comes with wifi 6, 2 tb hdd but can be upgraded to 6tb and supports up to 12 cameras.

I'm already a reolink fanboy love the way and correct me if I'm wrong but some of their company tech savvy guys are super active on reddit to help people and engage and I bloody love that their support is actually amazing I sent an email and got one back in less than an hour in business times and only a couple even out of business hours if I remember right. Also something about this Reolink reps German sounding accent makes it sound higher quality! No disrespect dude but European to me just means high quality. But bang for buck these cameras are great and they are innovative more so than other brands. ❤

Reolink needs to do a tutorial on setting up the Wi-Fi nvr where cameras are installed already. All directions want patch cable connected so a camera that is 30 ft up and needs to be taken down to plug into the nvr is not good!
Is there a way to input UID and pass word to add on the wireless nvr.
I also don’t like the terms of service part giving them ownership of intellectual image of any capture or d/l that ends up in cloud!

The Argus 4 180 is way sexier than the Duo3.
@Reolink needs to consider changing the Duo look to be more inline with the Argus.
At the very least I want the Duo to not be as deep (wider is fine) so it huge the wall better and is not standing out as much.

I've been REALLY impressed by Reolink. While their products aren't commercial grade like Vicon, I would say Reolink is darn close to prosumer grade. IMHO, hands down, they beat all other consumer CCTV options on the market. My Reolink system is 2.5 years old, all outdoor cameras, POE and a few Argus wireless battery powered cameras. They have endured some crazy temperature swings, as low as 4° F (-15° C) and highs up to 115° F (46° C), that's impressive. It would be nice to see some additional features added to the NVR and Client software. When reviewing recorded video, have the option to select a region of interest within the camera view and only show when movement occurred in that area. Instead of the Non-Detection Zone setting, where you fill in areas you don't want motion triggered recording, having the ability to fill areas that when motion occurs in that area, it starts recording. Those additions are just features I prefer, even without them, Reolink is a solid choice for home CCTV.

Thank you Reolink for making this video possible so we could learn about new products and features coming. I have been on Reolink for 4 years and it works reliably. I use the Reolink to feed my home assistant where I can use automatiousns to alert me when events occur. Initial integration was problematic but as firmware updates rolled out it improved so clearly they address flaws over time and improve upon the core.

I raised an issue with reolink support and the agent asked me to give them the log in credentials to my camera, and refused to let me speak with a manager when I told them how inappropriate that is.
Just something to keep in mind.
