    All I have to do is to say it has a bigger battery than the Samsung Galaxy 24 Ultra and can charge fully in under a half hour. It floors everyone at work. They want one instantly.

    I would honestly use the large USB A to C charger in the box. The size of the brick is to regulate heat build up within the brick itself to help keep the battery cooler while it charges. This will keep your battery healthy for longer and minimize battery degradation.

    Not sure if it was different in the States (assuming because of your charging brick) but in the UK when I pre ordered it early, I got the oppo buds 2 pro, and a case and screen protector free with the phone, had to buy the witless charger seperate but got a big discount on it, think it ended up being less than £30 which I think is just over 30 bucks, and wtih the wireless charger it charges it from 0 to 100 in just over 40 mins for me
    When ordering the phone tho you would have had to select the wireless dock along with the rest, not sure what you selected when you ordered it

    How's the burst photos and the music experience? Personally as for the USB A to C transition, I do not care that much because the charger usually tends to stay plugged in at my wall socket and that's it, unless I use it on my PC which I have both C and A types so for now I believe it's a 'can have' and not 'must'. Let's see how things go. Thanks for the info also on the low light text images. I hope you're enjoying it.

      We win some and we lose some... I still have my Ultra-fast Wireless charger from 2021 when I bought my OnePlus 9 Pro and it appears to function "okay" with the OP12. The OnePlus 12 will charge wirelessly at 50 w but, you have to have the are-vooc charger to make that possible. If you use any other wireless charger from another manufacturer it will only charge at 15 w maximum. In addition, 1 + also offers a 125 watt super vooc charger with type-c output but, you have to purchase it separately. The type A output they include in the box does a great job but, I too prefer type-c output.

    • @PeterHerget
      @PeterHerget  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yep, that all sounds about right to me. I wish OnePlus would have given customers the option to order a 125W charger as a upgrade during the pre-order...

    • @dr.fitprofessor4363
      @dr.fitprofessor4363 6 месяцев назад +3

      @@PeterHerget in fact, they do sell that charger but, it was made for the 10t and its proprietary technology. However, that charger is a smart device and will scale down the wattage for any OnePlus device that it encounters. The type A output chargers they are including in the box these days are mass-produced. It is far more affordable to use type A output then type C. Universal cereal bus which is the manufacturer of both outputs charges far more for the type C. After all, type A is cheaper because it's older and not in great demand.

    • @dr.fitprofessor4363

      @@PeterHerget it stopped at 80% due to smart charging. If you open the settings menu and go to battery and then battery health you'll find another menu called smart charging. You can either check or uncheck the box that will stop it at 80%. If you uncheck the box, it will charge to 100%.
