Just fyi the 2015 - 2023 challengers are made to resemble the 71 challenger not 72-74 if you look up some pictures of grill and taillights you will get it. I did find it curious they went away from powered recline since they had it in 09 and i assume was available 08-2014. I think obviously they don't power the passenger seat so people get in and out of the back seat quicker. I don't think i'd have put the swinger addition on a challenger. But, if i did i'd have incorporated a challenger "swinging" its tail out into the decal above the word. 1st i'd say eco mode on a 392 stick is driving another car lol. That being said don't idle it for no reason, EASY WITH YOUR RIGHT FOOT, and where applicable 1st to 3rd to 5th is your friend.
The reason why the passenger seat is not powered is because it’s a two door vehicle, and it’s much faster to move the passenger seat forward for people to get into the back.
My new Automatic widebody Scat is getting 15 in the city and I just got 23 on a road trip through the Park city / Heber area of Utah this weekend. Lots of amazing canyon roads and beautiful fall colors. Love that car.
I like the fact the manuals don’t have the cylinder cutoff . From my experience for years that in gm models and other brands always have lifter issues
Never had any issues with my door handles As someone already commented it may be adjustable Keeping the revs down was not an option lol That would silence the music from the exhaust
ONLY thing I don’t like bout my manual is no remote start in cold winter/ hot summer

Spot on, I have to agree with ya on the Bling, I mentioned on one of your posts, bought an F8 Green Swing Sp Edition, auto, do to military issues, couldn't drive the 6 speed; But got a whopping 61 miles on it. & just got the windows tinted & just found someone to place Amsoil 0w/40 into it, but this car is the bare basics & I guess I will shut up from there, former Pontiac TA X's 2 owner, 1 Formula 350 owner, performance wise, I'm happy & will keep this & owning an auto parts warehouse & no woman currently to waste $$ on, I will turn this F8 Swing into a baddddddddddd sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeper to put the Black Ghost nighty night!!
Its funny about the passenger front seat...my wife is 4'11" and no height adjustment....when i put my cowl hood on she couldn't see over hood....had to get a 4" soft booster pad.😂...now shes happy.
Don't put the RAM truck fender flares on them.

1) My 2022 R/T's door handles have never done that (knock on wood). If anything, they seem a bit over sensitive and unlock when my hand gets anywhere near the handle.
2) These manual V8s don't really need that eco-mode. That 6th gear really saves gas on the highway. Granted mine is the 5.7L, but recently before a 200-mile round trip, I reset the MPG-meter and then feathered the pedal on the highway the whole trip, keeping it at 75-78 mph (other than a few times I'd shift to 4th or 5th to pass) and I averaged 29.1 mpg!
6) Rev matching would be really cool!...and I do LOVE hill-start assist. Leaving my gym parking lot to get on the (high traffic) road has a bugger of an incline and it was always a bit nerve wracking in my previous car (2002 Camaro SS 6-spd manual). Now it's a dream, comparatively.

Have a lower half made for the rear strip like they did on the 69 darts, and maybe put your logo in it. Awesome car you have with the shaker and 6 speed and the green. I actually think that the car looks better with the silver wheels. If they make them a set of chrome cragers would make it look a little more old school. Always wanted one of those challengers but there isn't any way possible for me to afford one. So I'll have to stick with my 90 chevy crew cab dually and my 65 coronets.
Thanks for the video! I noticed your window does not go down slightly when attempting to open the door. This could be an issue as my 2015's window rolled down half an inch every time I opened the door. I do believe they all should work like that.
Yeah my charger do that too by opening the door sometimes when cold outside my driver side won’t unlock but all 3 unlock when little warmer it fine
I had the same issue with the handle on my 2014 challenger. I’m sure people thought I looked pretty silly not being able to get into my own car.

Top off my ‘21 1320 yesterday and looked at the mpg… 15.5 mpg.. A8,,,, I do like the throttle a little bit.
Phone holder (that’s my hang up) hate to deface the interior. So, I just put it on the passenger seat or in the net on the side of the console.
As somone who used to work at swing events, I did have to grin when I first saw this model advertised. I love that it's a manual. There is just something primal and pure in the enjoyment of driving a manual. I would think that you could squeeze much better milage out of it, but sometimes right feet do weight a lot.

Change the stripe to a black one with no logo - the next guy can put it back if he wants to. Get a second set of black wheels (maybe 18" Demon wheels with drag radials on the back) & put the silver ones in the garage for when it's time to sell.
I would remove it, the "Vinyl" will be available to reinstall if someone wants it!

I have this exact car so I'm laughing through the entire video.
1. When I first bought the car I struggled a few times with the handle. Finesse my friend! Walk up to your car. Slowly put your fingers under the door handle without grabbing it with your hand. Wait for the lock to open and then grab handle and open door. 😊
2. Eco mode on this car is 6th gear. 😅
I'm getting 15 mpg in town. And I go over 100mph every time I get in the car.
I live in Texas.
Over the road I'm getting 21mpg.
I'm happy.
3. I thought I would be getting a lot of flack about the swinger name but not 1 so far in Texas. It's because you live in Californication. You sinner! And yes, you have a very beautiful wife!
4. None of the other things you mentioned bother me .
5. I have noticed on my driver door that when I close it the inside panel shakes. Like eventually I will close the door and the panel will fall off.

Key less entry works better the closer your key fob is to the front of the car. I’m assuming the computer that detects your key is in the dash. I usually keep my key on my left side and I rarely have issues opening the door.

People seriously asking about eco. It’s a muscle car. U want economy there is a hornet u can buy. I have a SRT Durango. Guy I work with asked that I laughed said it sucks like you would expect. But makes me smile every time I drive it

That door handle is adjustable. The screw is behind that rubber plug near the latch.
Have you tried a Dodge Dart?? I mean they’re no where near new cars anymore. But you can grab you a used 2015/16 Dodge Dart, for less then $10,000 and you’ll end up with almost triple the gas mileage. That way you’re still in the Dodge family, they’re still sporty little cars, it’ll sit your entire family, save you tons on gas, and very modifiable if you want to pimp it out.
I had one but unfortunately totaled it, and no they’re not in the same class as the chargers or challengers, but to me they’re very underrated cars.
I think the back of the seats need to be manual in a coupe for quick escape in case of an accident or fire.

I'm pretty sure someone has already commented on this, but the reason it's not full power seats is cuz it's a 2 door with a back seat. You have to have manual control for moving forwards and backward to allow people to get in and out of the back seat easier.
I dont have seat memory buttons on my 2016 Shaker so something has been added
The automatic 6.4s come with MDS lifters which gives the car "ECO" mode. The manual transmission cars DON'T have MDS lifters so thats why it doesn't have "ECO". I believe that's why there is the $1,000 gas guzzler tax on the manuals. They dont meet the required MPG and those cars get penalized because of it. Glad the door won't open, you don't want zombie goo in the car 😂. One thing I dislike about the Swinger editions is that the rear decal isn't placed under the wing and down onto rear bumper cover and 1/4 panel. The gap allowing the paint to show looks stupid and almost like they just throw them on the car. I wish the F8 green and white Swingers also came with the black decale and not the gold and green decals.
I can bet that people will pay $10 to get your phone number and do prank calls and just be annoying. Hope it doesn’t happen, but there are lots of goofy people in this world.

You want eco on a stick get a pedal comander! The one i use has an eco mode!
You just place your hand under the handle and it unlocks immediately. You can then open it.
ALL the Challengers have manual back rests. Its so weird. Why would I have memory seats if I dont get the whole thing lol. Its so weird. Chargers have it full. But even my 124k SS still has the same issue. But, its a conversation point and funny. Plus, nobody drives them except me.
But the other stuff. I like that it hasnt changed. Its going to make parts easier to find, and these are MUCH simpler than other new cars. Sure, its not a 70 Challenger, that I can fix with a leatherman, but compared to a new Camaro...oof.
So, screw the rev matching. Plus, you only need rev matching for track stuff. I dont do that anymore (oddly enough I can drive the snot out of a small 2 liter manual, but with my Scat Pack 6sp...I dont. I feel Im going to break something expensive. So I just do what it wants. Go fast off the line!)
I wont point out something that will drive you nuts though....but all the sticker cars have this really bad overlap of the stickers. Its...bad. And very noticeable on the F8 cars.
As far as the member thing...I use Subscribestar, but only one person made the effort to go there. I dont want to split things up, members here, there, etc. Its tough enough with three platforms. Plus, I dont do special content. Im curious how that will work out. Also, Im still in YT jail. Im lucky if I get views in the first 24hrs, but its fine. Ill still be here, but Im going to fight the car culture war irl as the kids say. More on that another time.

That door handle is defective it is an issue with the pearl and metallic even though they are so tiny your body can build up static charge and screw the sensor you can do it your self or take it back to the dealership and either way tape off a section that you lift up on and carefully remove the paint its plastic not like its gonna rust lol!
You can have the wheels powder coated by a professional that looks factory . The wheels should be black on that car . The best contrast color .
Love the car, went to buy the white spec and then walked out because the gave me a ridiculous price but I would have payed a little more than sicker say 5k over but they wanted 10k then they said 15k and I laughed aside from their bs add ons. It’s not worth it again for 70k yeah I’ll take it and add taxes and fees I’ll take it but they didn’t want that. Other than that I love this spec it’s my all time favorite mostly due to those wheels. The stripe and green stitch I could care less but the wheels are what got me to go see if they wanted to sell it to me. Who wouldn’t want 10k-15k down to pay for depreciation the first year I drive the heck out of it lol

My biggest complaint is that the steering wheel needs another 1-2" of downward adjustability.
What's the point of a flat bottom wheel when It's 8" from my legs?
Keep the swinger logo as is. It will absolutely affect the sale price of this edition if you remove it.
Do a $4.95 a month or half off the first 3 months just an idea im cool either way we have always been cool!

As for a daily driver option, how bout a 6 cylinder challenger? Still has the good looks but better gas mileage.
Well Manuals don’t usually have better gas mileage especially these unless you drive them like a Kia, but then the car would just kick you out and do burnouts to rebel against being fuel efficient 😂
Just the fact that it doesn't have power seat for the passenger said is so cheap on dodge behalf. That is the biggest reason why I like the charger better you get power seat on both sides. And for what dodge is charging they could of done better. Poor quality

My 2022 Charger Scat has power on both sides, as did my 2020 Mustang GT with base trim that I traded for it.

If they would have made an exact replica of the 1971 Challenger I would consider buying one. I miss my 71 440 6pak 4 speed. What a dumb butt for selling it. These challenger today will never bring the money the 70 - 71 Challenger, Cuda's and 68 - 70 Charger are bringing today, 10 or 20 years from now. They made be faster but they are just not the true muscle cars of the late 60's and 70's. Where is the Piston Grip Shifter? Was is not an option? Look how long it took them to change the body on the Ram truck. You shouldn't be surprise that nothing has change. They have the wrong over paid people in charge.

Paint over the swinger so it just looks like a black stripe. Problem solved.
I Mostly love my manual Scat Pack. Only complaint I have is how sloppy the drive train is. Clunky sloppy and noisy.

When you buy a high-performance car a BMW they give you all the but Dodge gives you nothing please make it really pretty spending all that money
But it's still a BMW. BMW has to do that along with free oil changes to get people to buy that crap. Such a boring car to drive and look at.
Maybe I'm kind of old school, but I'm glad it doesn't have the automatic rev matcher and the hill assist is the 1st thing I turn off, even before I leave the dealership. These cars, as awesome as they are, already take too much control over how we drive them, so I turn off as many "nannies" as I can.
Time is money, man. If you are really helping someone from a life coach type of situation then they should pay for it.
