I love the ambient soundscape in the Legal District in Daud's DLC, so here's a mix of exteriors and interiors from the mission Eminent Domain.
Edit: added chapters for the different scenes!

We need to eject the outsider
Dishonored was the best gaming experience of my life. I'd always just sit and enjoy the atmosphere.
19:50 favorite!
I had played Dishonored 2 a year or two ago and it was one of my very best gaming experiences ever. I am currently playing this first game for the first time currently, and it's at least as good. I'm a lot into good eery atmospheres like these, so here is a big THANK YOU. Going to listen to it at work.
Thank you!! Glad you’re enjoying these, have a lovely time at work 😊
I can absolutely recommend almost everything these devs have created. *Prey* (2017) is a sci-fi game, but has the same great attention to detail and immersive gameplay features.
If you can stomach retro games, *Thief: The Dark Project* was the primary inspiration for Dishonored. Its sequels also carry that atmosphere.
Yes, Prey is so good! I've played it lots. I do have one of the newer Thief games on xbox, but not the original series!
@@Kijinn I you guys are looking for a similar type of lore to get lost inside (although on a completely dif. type of gameplay) give a try to Sunless Sea

@@Gualtiero904 thank you so much! ☺️
One of my favorite game series 💙✝️
D2 might've expanded on the gameplay but the first installment was a better overall experience I think. Story was finer tuned, Billy Lush was still The Outsider and the pacing felt better imo. I still gotta run through both games again. Who knows, now that I'm home for the Winter, maybe I will?
Thanks for the upload, you're the best!
If you reply dishonoured 2 enough to see the details, I realized it is a far better game then the first one
Dishonored 2 is better, the number of variations in story are astonishing and the lore is expanded tenfold
This is fantastic
Thank you! 😊
55:19🤩🤩
Dishonored 1 atmosphere is undoubtedly better than Dishonored 2.
I do enjoy both a lot for different reasons, but I can see why folks prefer the soundscapes from the first one. Dunwall just has a different vibe (and I appreciate that they didn't try to make Karnaca sound like Dunwall haha)
@@grumble I just watched the detailed video analysis on colour filters that were used in the first one and were neglected in its sequel. Thats why it is more atmospheric and cosy to play the first game, it had unique dominant colours in each location, so that they have their own individuality. Boyle's mansion level is all blue, dark and cold outside (even the characters complain to the weather being cold) and all orange, warm and cosy inside the manor. Without colour filters (the author of the video removed them specially for us to see), Dishonored 1 looses a fair share of its charm.
@@crestfallenknight7983 oh cool, could you link it?
@@grumble unfortunately it was in Russian. The topic raised is crucial for the future of the franchise in my opinion but the chanses of Arkane noticing an unpopular Russian video are low. If only the rest of the Internet would notice the importance of colour palette of the first game... Guess it would be beneficial for the series' well-being in the future.

At 1:14:01 there is a gunshot
good catch :D I turn voice volume down before recording so that any NPCs still roaming around won't be heard, but I bet there was a guard left alive who just had to take a potshot at the rats...
Hi Grumble, was wondering would you be able to do a 30-45 minute of Clavering Boulevard where Samuel is sitting beside the fire, it’s the very start of HOC?
Sure, I love hanging out with Samuel! I'll put it on the list -- I've got a couple requests I wanna get to over the holidays. :)
@@grumble thank you!! Have a nice Christmas!!
Hiya, had some time today and figured I'd hang out with Samuel! The video is still processing the HD version, but here's the link for when you see this: ruclips.net/video/t-UCVks6rjU/видео.html
Thank you for the request! I love Samuel

Grumble, question for you!
If you had to live somewhere in dishonored, where would it be and why?
Also where is your favourite place in the game?
If I had to live somewhere, I'd choose somewhere near Kaldwin's Bridge! Just because I'd love to live closer to the river. (My city has one, but I'm situated too far out into the sticks.)
As for favourite place, that's probably Drapers Ward and the waterfront! That's somewhere I'd enjoy just to sit and watch. (Undine crew being relieved of their fingers optional.)
What about you?? What's your favourite spot, and where would you get yourself a new apartment?
@@grumble great answer, the river is lovely, compelling and perplexing (due to the enigmatic creatures that live within) but I think they’re further out at sea.
Drapers Ward is also a favourite of mine and I’d have to agree that it would be a lovely place to spend time, I would probably dangle my legs off the edge of the wall looking down at the drained river, but I’d also want to explore the various shops therein.
I think I would have to choose Clavering Boulevard at nighttime as my favourite place, something about it feels enchanting. Whether it’s by the waterfront or near the Distillery. I would live in a big building like Dr Galvani’s Offices or the Art Dealers Apartment.
@@solitudeguard5688 Gosh yeah, Clavering Blvd at night is such a strange, enamouring place! And not just because of Granny :D
Honestly if I lived anywhere near the Distillery, I'd bribe Slackjaw and the lads into keeping the structural damage to a minimum by sending them baked goods every other day XD
Thank you for your video! Could you do a rothwild slaughterhouse, please?
Sure! I'll put it on the list 😊
Thank you! :)
Hiya! I had some time last weekend and captured some footage around the slaughterhouse. Here's a shorter video of the outside: ruclips.net/video/m3lWG3-0IrY/видео.html and here's a longer one with several locations on the inside: ruclips.net/video/OrqNxHq1VqA/видео.html Hope you like them! :)
@@grumble thank you so much! Now I have an ambience to sleep to ♥️

How do you record these ambiences?
Using my xbox one's internal recording function.
@@grumble I thought that was only for screen recording…
