    So many reactors are too stupid (or too preoccupied with trying to mock the show) to recognize that the Sith unmasking wasn't meant to be the shocking moment. There had not been a Sith seen in over a thousand years this was said in episode 1 so having a Sith seen in this show 80 years before the event and episode 1 completely ruined the entire series as well as the force being the father of two children before Anakin❤

      @@SamGrant-jm6mz Your reason for the show being ruined is based on what the council knew. Right now, 2 characters alive heard the word Sith. Sol & Mae. If neither reports it before dying or chooses to hide it, then Ep 1 is still true. From a certain point of view.

    Jecki has SERIOUSLY impressed me as a Jedi. I mean this-she’s proven herself to be Ahsoka Tano-Barriss Offee-level skilled at padawan age. Absolutely insane. I’m so frustrated that she died but she’s the standout for me in this.
    I also hate that the Kel Dor Jedi Ithia Paan died early on. I was rooting for him in Plo Koon’s honor 😭 and as for Yord, man I hate that he died too. So unexpected and ruthless of a death. I’m glad Sol made it, but wow I was expecting Jecki and Yord to survive more than Sol, so the writers did good there in surprising us. Ugh I’m so shook by this episode.

      @@SamGrant-jm6mz They make it obvious in the show that Jecki is a studious student who has been trained extremely well by Sol. And just because she can hold her own for a bit against the Sith guy doesn’t mean anything-he wasn’t THAT old after all so he may not even have that much experience. Since when did Jecki do better than her master? She did amazingly well for a padawan, but Sol was the one who beat him hand to hand and kept tossing him around even when he kept causing his saber to short out.

    This episode was insane! So brutal! I wasn’t expectijg Yord and Jeckie to die, but I have to respect Disney for making the choice to kill off important charaxters. I’m rather nervous for the mext few episodes. I wonder if Basal knows what’s up? I bet he does. Sol defijitely has darkness in him and Osha saved him. I wonder if maybe he was a dark side user before? Or another under cover dark side user? I doubt it. But he’s most definitely hiding something. Watch him be the main culprit behind the Brendock business. I’d be so sad. I also agree that Jeckie was a freaking bad ass! She was very impressive. And no one was surprised by QuiMir being the sith. Though I hope we see more of him. He’s very impressive. I wonder if Osha will become his new acolyte? Definitely possible. His dialogue with Sol was so good. I bet we’re going to get more answers next episode.

  • @rawkmode6315
    @rawkmode6315 3 месяца назад +4

    So, I want to go on record with my theory. The Sith lord of this time period is a guy named Darth Tenebrous. He is interested in the art of manipulating life through the use of the Force. He finds a coven of witches who have a mastered at least part of this skill, so he goes to learn from them (he's actually present in the background of the flashback scene when Mae and Osha are doing their ascension ceremony, but then peaces out when the Jedi show up.) The Jedi realize this or something like it, so they kill everyone in the coven. They do this to prevent the Sith from learning forbidden knowledge from them.
    Nonetheless, Tenebrous now has some basic information to start, but still doesn't know how to do it, thus he spends the rest of his life trying to unlock the secret. He has two apprentices, an official Sith apprentice named Darth Plagueis, and an illegitimate apprentice named Darth Venamis, although technically Venamis isn't a "Darth," nor a true Sith, since the Rule of Two says there can only be one master and one apprentice. Ultimately, Tenebrous discovers Venamis betraying him and imprisons him in his lab where he uses him in his experiments, literally torturing him to death for decades and reviving him using the techniques he's learning.
    His apprentice Darth Plagueis eventually kills Tenebrous and takes his own apprentice, Darth Sidious. Together they continue the experimentation, accidentally creating Anakin Skywalker. However, they think all their experiments have failed (Anakin is born on the other side of the galaxy and they are unaware of it until Sidious encounters him in "The Phantom Menace.") Due to their failures, Sidious becomes impatient and kills Plagueis in his sleep, becoming the master, and eventually taking Darth Maul as his apprentice. This is the point at which the prequels begin.
    Here is the punchline to all of this: Qimir is Darth Venamis and we're seeing the story of his betrayal of his master, Darth Tenebrous. He wants an acolyte to increase his strength in order to kill Tenebrous and replace him.

    back in the year 2000 i received from my yahoo email a message purported to be an untitled star wars script. that yahoo email message was a chain mail (back when both useful and garbage chain mails littered our inboxes) and the email message indicated that that script was first submitted to GLucas a year, 1999, and then later rejected by GLucas in 2000. It was a long email message retelling the story, the script itself, and how and why GLucas rejected the script. it was a long email but I can still remember parts of it. Even the names Indara, Sol, Jecky, Tasi, Yord, Vernestra, and the one Sith Lord called "NO NAME"... the memory of that email came to me so fast back when the Acolyte episode 1 story came out June 4th. I'm still not convinced Qimir is a Sith. He says the Jedi MIGHT call him a Sith. However, there are visual clues and even audio clues that indicate he is something else. He is a Knight of Ren. His design is very reminiscent of Ren, the leader of the Knights of Ren before Kylo Ren replaced him. You can also hear an audio beat of Kylo Ren's theme when he heals Osha. The Knights of Ren existed for centuries, long before this show.

    • @SigTheSauceMan
      @SigTheSauceMan 3 месяца назад

      I think he's more of an Asajj Ventress/Darth Maul of this era. Darth Tenebrous is the Sith Master at this time, with Darth Plagueis being his Sith Apprentice. Qimir is likely one of Darth Plagueis' personal Sith Assassins (as Maul, then Ventress were to Dooku under Sidious). Also note that Qimir's helmet somewhat resembles a Bith (the species that Darth Tenebrous was). Though, that could be a coincidence, given the flared bottom resembles those worn by the Knights of Ren. Also what you said, a tiny bit of Kylo Ren's theme played for Qimir.

    *Theory:* Qimir was having Mae kill the 4 Jedi, maybe, because they saw his face while he (and others?) went on a killing spree at the coven. It could be that HE (and others?) started that fire, and clouded the minds of the survivors. I think he went to the coven for an acolyte of his own (Mae), and things went sideways.
    *There's just something about him saying "I want a pupil...an acolyte...they see my face, they all die". That might not even be his own face.*

    1:20 The helmet is made from Cortosis, a metal as rare and lightsaber-resistant as Beskar/Mandalorian Iron (but with the added property of disrupting energy it comes into contact with, such as a lightsaber blade). We've seen it in canon once before. Some Jedi tried luring Darth Vader into a trap and a Jedi who thought she was clever shorted Vader's lightsaber with a cortosis sword. Vader subsequently grabbed her neck and broke it.

    Even though they’ve broken most of the canon that existed ,I still think Jecki is a great character. Just a pity they’ve taken out the best thing in the series with three to go. It was better than last week, but a supposed ‘Sith’, who overwhelmed all those Jedi gets taken hostage by a bunch of big bugs? Huh??? I think Master Vernestra is the one at fault in all this. She’s been in the background all this time, and while we’ve been blaming this person and that, we’ve only seen her in the temple, so we know there is more to this than what they’ve told us. They have three episodes to unravel the mess they’ve made of canon. I hope they’re up to it.

      I’m genuinely curious, like don’t take this as an attack.
      It’s just I’m interested, because it only seems like this show is causing that complaint. Empire Strikes Back literally decannonised the first ever EU book, and the Clone Wars went from 3 years to 5 overnight.

    • @Aewon84
      @Aewon84 3 месяца назад +1

      Where does the show break canon? The creation of Mae and Osha? It's not stated anywhere in canon that Darth Plagueis was the first to ever create life with the Force. If anything, this is probably where he got the idea. The explanation of the Force the witches gave also does not break canon. That's just their belief. The Path of the Open Hand believed that using the Force was harmful. Both groups simply have a different view on the Force.
      The third "lore-breaking" thing I've seen fans complain about is the Sith. However, all we know is that around the time of the Clone Wars the Jedi believe the Sith have been gone for a thousand years. That doesn't mean there can't have been encounters. Maybe they were later written off as false alarms?
      In regards of Qimir, my theory is that he's self-taught and not a part of the Rule of Two line. Maybe he found a Sith holocron somewhere?

    I'm sad we lost Jecki. She was awesome; I really liked her. But hey, at least she died how she lived: being an _absolute badass._

      the fact that she managed to keep up with a Sith Lord for this long of a fight already proves she would´ve been one of the most talented Jedi Knights. On one hand i applaud the show for being this bold, but it sucks that they wasted a character that still had so much potential. They could´ve killed just Yord.

    Acolite episode 5 is the best star wars thing I have ever seen.
    These fights and choreography surpassed both the Phantom Menace movie and the clone wars episode.

    Just realized Qimir is very reminiscent of Darth Starkiller from Force Unleashed…no wonder I like him!!
    Also, despite getting killed, Daphne Keen proved once more you do NOT mess with X-23 😈

    Whew. Boy. That was a lot of Jedi that got killed. Seems to me that the appropriate thing for the Jedi Council to do in response is to sit down and have some meaningful discussions about what transpired. Don’t you think?

      It was already stupid that they chose not to tell the council about two Jedi murder or, if they did initially, not keep the Jedi Council appraised of every detail of the case. Not telling the Council that they had a lead they were following was stupid. It should have been left to the Council (or at least a Council member) to decide if they'd tell the Senate...not a lower staff wonk.

    What’s Jedi Master Sol hiding? The twins families didn’t die in the fire.. 🔥.. Bodies were not burned. Or the walls.. And no debris in the bodies.. 🤔

    Sol was tasked with abandoning bad batches of potential Jedi. This one is a special one. I'm pretty sure the High Order tried to Order 66 the witches and other threats to the order. This one may have been trained at the temple too and caused havoc politically or was dumped a fire station as an infant. Sweet vengeance is the birth of the Sith. Same with witch influence and harvesting metals like Cortorsis. Sneaky kid. I bet you that this is the Ren origin.

    Is it me, or are the twins really bad at pretending to be each other
    “Where is she?”
    “Where’s who?”
    “Where’s wh… the only woman we’ve been dealing with who’s still alive!”

    I am pretty sure that Qimir knows that the woman is Osha and not Mae. Sol on the other hand might not have a clue that Mae is with him and not Osha because he currently is off-balance with force.

    I also agree that I hope that whatever happened with Sol it wasn’t just oh he’s actually terrible. I want to trust hik but I’m not sure I do. Osha’s gonna be pissed when she learns the full truth.
