Qimir killed it in this episode. RIP Jecki especially who will be known for her kindness, cleverness, that dropkick, and masterful duel lightsaber skills.
So Qimir's helmet and gauntlet are made of Cortosis which is a rare metal that when it's hit by a lightsaber deactivates the lightsaber. The metal itself is rather brittle so it can be damaged by physical attacks easily.
I felt that Qimir intentionally backed off a bit in the end, because he wanted Osha to see 'who Sol really is'. That's why he was pushing him towards his mental edge through the whole episode so Sol would finally lose his sh*t.
@@SatoInTokyo he’s actually a pretty cool character, Manny Jacinto is doing an amazing job! Both he and Amandla Stenberg have actually been playing multiple personalities which is kinda cool to see lol
Hey ATF! Another great reaction and review vid. I really loved this episode. I will try and answer two of your questions. First, there is a small amount of missing time from last episode to when OSHA wakes up. I assume partly to protect his Padawan, Sol told Jecki to arrest Mae to complete that part of the mission. Second, Mae stunned Sol so she could talk to Osha alone and presumably they would leave together. That's why they had walked away from where he fell. Lastly, be patient. We don't know the full story yet so the answer to why the master wanted those Jedi dead should be coming. We will get another flashback to the night the coven died and see who really started the fire and how the witches were killed off. As well as seeing the master's connection to that night and the coven. Anyways, be well and see ya in the next vid. 🙂
Nice! Notice the shape of the wound that the master killed Jecki with...a triangle...like the 🔺️ triangles that were all over the coven's town...walls...rooms and clothing. That's telling he would use it on the last remaining Jedi's padawan...or acolyte ❤
That Qimir was the hidden master was obvious from the start to anyone who has read the Foundation books by Issac Asimov wherein he revealed the joker character known as the Mule as the real protagonist.
first, the hair, the 💄💋 absolute 🔥🤤 now, what an amazing episode this was. for folks complaining not enough action, well, we got all smoke last night!!!!! in my opinion, Jecki had the best fight scenes and there were two nods to our girl Ahsoka last night, first was when Sol says "you're no Jedi" and the second was when Jecki whipped out that second light saber; i'm sure you caught both of those nods. 😉 what if the Sith turns/makes Osha his, Acolyte!?! 😲 does Sol realize what has happened at the end?!? 🤯😱 great episode, great review/reaction and you look amazing as always Baby Girl! 🥰
I’ve been giving the show’s writers / directors a chance and allowing their characters’ actions and motives to unfold as they intended, but the one thing that has been tricky for me is ascertaining Mae’s and Osha’s motives in particular. I’m sure on one level we’re meant to be left guessing about their ultimate goals and desires, but there seems to be a wishy-washy quality to some of their decisions over the past couple episodes. Obviously, Mae and Osha both have good reasons to question where their loyalties lie, but I hope the writers don’t prioritize misdirections and mysteries so much that they alienate us from the thoughts and feelings of the lead characters, to the point where we can no longer find them compelling or relatable. But I don’t consider this a complaint per se, just a growing concern at this point. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the tortuous plot unravels over the last three episodes! Most specifically, I’m eager to learn more about how both sisters have been lied to and manipulated. Anyway, another great reaction and review, as always!
What if Qimir is The Acolyte and the real master has yet to be revealed. Rule of Two. He may be searching for a pupil of his own so he can become the master. Also: an Acolyte kills without a weapon. What better way to do so than to convince someone else (Mae) to kill for you, allowing toy to remain in shadow.
With always want to be able to be 'free' and take an acolyte. We aren't meant to know his full motivation yet. And hiding in plain sight is a favored Sith tactic. How better to watch his potential acolyte?
Episode literally confirms Jecki and Yord’s deaths and you still question the life and light clearly leaving Jecki’s eyes before her body collapses to the ground, and we literally heard Yord’s neck break, they died, end of story.
@@mitchykidd8905 lol! You know what though, since he healed osha, he could probably bring Jecki and Yord back, maybe Jecki especially because he was praising her loyalty before he killed her, anything is possible 🤔
@TheAhsokaTanoFan, this is so true and that's what I find is one of the main problems with Disney SW, there are sooo many macguffin moments that really weaken it, 2 examples max kinata having Luke's "laser sword" with zero explanation and the diad light saber, sorry "laser sword" teleportation to kylo in RoS. It just takes me out these shows big time. One thing that annoyed me with EP 5 is that master squid left all the bodies of his fellow jedi without hesitation, didn't even think to take their "laser swords". Anyway enough ranting, just wanted to say that I luv your reaction vids and I like your lore logic. You always seem to bring up good questions. Keep up the good work and great cosplay also👏
Come on now, you're looking for explanations for a whole show barely halfway through the season. Just watch the show. Let it develop. You know there's more mystery. It's like asking "why did Luke lose to Darth Vader? Isn't he the hero? And now he's Luke's father? How do they explain that? He killed his father."
So much death. I'm not exactly understanding what Mae's endgame is. Good on Osha for sticking up to Sol and the Jedi. However, there is no doubt that she's in worst company now. Now the question is: who is going to explain this to the council?
The opening saber fight was good. Things get contrived after that. If Qimir could force push 8 Jedi, why couldnt he use the Force to deal with the flying rollie pollies? Why couldnt he just force pull the light off his back? Too many things happened because of "plot". No logic at all.
Hey, Jazmin! Some cool lightsaber action and brutal deaths will not be enough to salvage this mess! Headland really stepped in it now! I loved the double skewer and decapitation move! I loved the shoto saber hidden in the hilt of Qimir's regular lightsaber! I loved the triple Jecki stab and the Yord neck-snap! I loved Cortosis armor and its ability to short out lightsabers being salvaged from the dustbin of Legends! Mae's motivations are muddled and changed by the minute! Her character makes no sense anymore! Mae's masquerade will be foiled as soon as the forehead marking becomes visible or Pip's absence is noticed. What is she thinking? How does Sol not know it's Mae? Can't he feel she's not his former Padawan? Qimir was the obvious suspect so no big surprise but I was amazed at how jacked Manny Jacinto's arms were! He said he's a Sith to the Jedi so unless everybody left dies and/or covers this up, the lore is officially broken! Where is Darth Tenebrous? What is Sol's dark secret? I will miss Dafne Keen. Lee Jung-jae remains the best thing on this show. Manny Jacinto was truly menacing as The-Sith-Who-Laughs. Headland has painted herself into a corner and it will be interesting to see her dig herself out.
@@bryanthoyte9156 fair enough, but I guess I would expect a temporary team up as a possibility only because the master was trying to kill her along with everyone else, so kind of an “enemy of my enemy is my friend” situation. I still am not clear though how she hates the Jedi cause they invaded her home, but yet she started the fire and wanted to kill osha? The only thing that would make sense is if that isn’t really what happened and it really was the Jedi who started the fire, or maybe osha did but they wiped her memory so she remembers it differently? So many questions lol🤔
Jaz hang in there because Disney has always wanted to re-write SW in their image. 12 years ago when Disney purchased SW, George had sold them the outline for episodes 7-9 so they burned the scripts and created KK and Disney version "The Force is Female."
Thr Force created Anakin. The witches used the Force to create the twins. Anakin was supposed to be the Chosen One. But his dark side got the best of him. At least that's my understanding. I could be wrong.
Also i'm not going to lie but when Qimir says "was that it's name" that was cold.

This. Also worth mentioning it is illegal in the Republic and is extremely hard to forge armor or weapons with.
Mae didn't love Osha, she loved the idea of her. When Osha insisted on being a person instead, she responded like she did as a child: violence.

His armor is Cortosis. It's not as durable as beskar but it absorbs energy and shorts lightsabers.
