I think Winn’s credits are still in Jod’s pocket. Something odd happened off screen when Jod was captured. When he told the soldiers to just shoot him, why didn’t they do it and take the ship? Jod has already demonstrated an ability to play mind tricks on people as they escaped from the jail cells.

Hey, Jazmin! Three for three. A fun episode with some interesting turns. I doubt the pilot is alive unless he is of a long-lived species. That ship was buried so long that no one knew about it! Do all the hidden worlds have the same layout? They need to record the coordinates of the other planets to deduce if there is a pattern to their locations! If they can't find a pattern, then they need to go to one of the planets for which they have coordinates and head to the Supervisor Tower if the city centers are all laid out the same. Unless SM-33's Captain found them all in his quest, the coordinates to At-Attin will be legible on some of those worlds. If that doesn't work out, they can take their new info to astrophysicist Kh'yym. The questions are why these cities are all planned identically, why SM-33's Captain kept the secret close if it wasn't just greed and what exactly do the At-Attin adults really know? I wonder if Jod really bartered with the gold dataries or if he and SM-33 dispatched that entire Hattan patrol? French actor Matthieu Kassovitz played General Strix. Hala Finley as Hayna was quite impressive with her accent, stunts and acting! Sudden deadly turn by SM-33! I hope thy can reprogram him. He's my favorite! Killing all the crewmen who knew the secret to the treasure is straight out of Captain Flint's playbook in "Treasure Island"!

Child soldiers are nothing new in Star Wars, Ahsoka Tano was one through whole clone wars, as well as plenty of other padawans, everyone just seems to always forget that just because she had magical powers.

If this planet is a mirror of At Attin, then there is going to be one of those turbo lasers on the roof of their school in At Attin too.

I'm afraid I have no memory of At Attin. Yeah, this show is WAY better than it has any right to be. So, who wants to bet that in the next episode they use the big honking laser cannon that they went out of their way to show us in this episode?

The ship was buried for hundreds of years, given the dirt and plant growth on top of it. So the Captain would be VERY old if still alive. I think one of those skeletons on the ship was the former captain.

I had a similar thought about Crimson...but mine was that he mind tricked the tribe members into trusting him, found out about the eopies and used that knowledge against them...he's a pirate, I don't see him willingly giving up those credits...and what use would they be on a planet in this condition..! 🤔 My other thought...a bit of a wild one... is that Wim's dad is the former Captain and also the mysterious Supervisor that nobody seen ...! 🤔🤔

Carson went back to 1900s Toronto to help solve crimes, not sure when he'll be back. I'm guessing Crimson Jack was a padawan who survived by joining a pirate crew. I can just see these kids in class trying to explain to their teacher that Alderaan has been destroyed. Maybe they're like Magrathea just hiding out until the galactic economy picks up

He’s definitely a force user, whether a Jedi tbd. I suspect at some point we’ll come across a light saber……. But even that won’t ultimately tell us if he’s a true Jedi or at the very least an ex-padawan. I think ultimately he’s a survivor……

Hey, Jazmin! Love the shoulder cut-outs! Another fun episode! I didn't realize Jon Watts was the co-writer of the series and director of the first episode. He directed the MCU Spider-Man trilogy! Jude Law's charisma is massively anchoring this whole show. He's phenomenal in this! I completely believe he's a Force-user and not a charlatan. He could have been drummed out of the Order or left voluntarily or was never discovered by the Jedi or not been permitted to join by his family. There are a number of possibilities. He's old enough that he could have been a youngling in the Order. As for his pirate nom de guerre, he's probably had several aliases during his career. Unhelmeted, he might have been Crimson Jack. Helmeted, he was Silvo. I loved the way the untethered fuel line recoiled violently into Port Borgo wrecking a decent portion of the station! The droid workshop steward who recognized Law as Silvo called Benjar Pranic was voiced by Alfred Molina! The owl astrophysicist called Kh'yym was voiced by Alia Shawkat! I didn't realize that SM-33 was being voiced by Nick Frost! Jaleel "Urkel" White showed up again as the cyborg pirate Gunter! I half-expected Paul Sun-Hyung Lee's Carson Teva to pop out of the X-wing! "Aye" means affirmative but SM-33 was intoning it menacingly as a watchful threat. Dopey kids should have told SM-33 to take them to Coruscant! Apparently, they knew enough galactic history that they were aware of the capital world of the Old Republic. It would have been a safer bet than whatever the sketchy droid in the corpse-filled ship would have picked! Shame on Miss "Know-it-all" Fern for that!

I believe that most probably Jude Law is a genuine force user,or he really literally has a bag of tricks up his sleeves. Perhaps he was a Padawan during Order 66 and never became a full-fledged Jedi and to survive he hooked up with pirates?? I also believe that At Attin was the repository of the wealth of the old republic. Perhaps a bank of sorts, or an actual treasury where they minted old republic coins, kind of like Fort Knox here in America.I also believe the other hidden planets were destroyed, AKA plundered, and perhaps that's what the crew of that old ship that the kids are on now was trying to do, however many centuries or eons ago which was simply to steal the wealth from their. Because they've been isolated for quite some time and they seem to have morphed into some kind of cult.Whether or not the supervisor is a droid, an AI, or some type of sentient, organic being who oversees them only time will tell.Perhaps it's also where they mine the medal for the credits for the old republic. I believe the name that he gave to the children was his birth name and the Crimson Jack is the title he took as a pirate.I, like you also believe that the underlying arc of this series will be, he's a Scoundrel with a heart of gold and it will just take the innocence and influence of the children to turn him to the light side shall we say and he will actually help them for moral reasons as opposed to simply filling or lining his pockets,and if he was a Padawan, perhaps they'll help him become a full-fledged Jedi. Or at least point him in that direction.

When the show plays the Force theme while someone is using the force, that pretty much confirms they’re not faking.

I found it quite funny that he basically set the kids to shooting at cops with deadly lasers.

That wasn't jedi mind trick he used on the guards, it was the same power Obi-Wan used on the death star to slip past the storm troopers guarding the tractor beam generator, it's called Distract, and basically just makes the target think they saw or heard something from the direction the force user chooses.

I think he was a very, very young Order 66 survivor with only the most basic of training…given the timeline and his age, he may have forgotten about his time in the temple and fell into pirate hands shortly after escaping Coruscant. He was probably then raised and treated badly by pirates which brings out his untrustworthyness but has retained enough of his basic force knowledge…he didn’t mind trick those guards as such, he just made a distraction noise .. 😊

My thoughts: I have a suspicion that At-Attin may have something to do with the building of the First Order in its very early stages. I noticed sort of a pattern going on in that a lot of people have heard about At-Attin, but write of off as some mythical place that may not actually exist, In addition; the adults on At-Attin seem to know something about the planet that the kids do not. The adults seem to put forth a great deal of effort to keep this place in a heavily-guarded secret. Why is that? Jude Law's character could possibly be a jedi reject.

I think Jod is his real name. His alias is probably Crinsom Jack Sylvo…something like that. Also I think he is a force user but a very weak one, one that had his training, whether Jedi or Sith, was interrupted by one thing or another and that’s when he went on the run. He’s not trustworthy, not fully, but that could come from him not trusting others either. As for the “treasure” it’s going to turn out to not be what anyone thinks it is and that rumor of said treasure comes from the deeper mystery of why At Attin was shielded in the first place…. And that could be very dangerous ( I think that something is a bit sinister about the whole thing of this being the last planet, prized by the Old Republic, that is left in existence).

Hey, Jazmin! I was stunned that I actually enjoyed these first two episodes! Lol. I hope it continues to be good. It's basically "Goonies" in space! The kids are ok and not supremely irritating. At least, they're acting like children instead of snarky adults. I just wish the boys weren't such inept bumblers and the girls weren't so savvy and adroit. I'm fed up with elevating girls at the expense of boys. They could have all been given a moment to shine or made Wim the rebel instead. Is Neel an Ortolan like Max Rebo? Probably not since Ortolans don't have legs! At Attin struck me as odd from the jump. It was so Northern California suburban. It didn't have the typical Star Wars aesthetic. The kids had never seen stars! The sky had a purplish Borealis effect at night obscuring the sky. They refer to the Republic, not the New Republic. The currency is in Old Republic dataries. None of the kids thought of telling the robot to take them to a neighboring system or the Capital World of Chandrila. Surely, they would be taught galactic history and geography in school? We saw that on Nevarro in "The Mandalorian". The opening pirate attack was a fantastic and brutal opener! My guess is Jude Law was Captain Silvo before being deposed by Brutus! It's cool to finally get a Shistavanen character like Brutus. The reason the Ishi Tib pirate didn't die when his eye was blasted is because it's on a stalk above his head and not nestled in front of his brainpan. Lol. Kerry Condon of "Rome" was the girl's mother. Jaleel White aka Urkel was the cyborg pirate. Tunde Adebimpe was Wim's pops. Vane from Season 3 of "The Mandalorian" was in the initial pirate attack and shows up on Port Borgo which is a Legends name-drop as it was once a colony of the Rakatan Empire, the galaxy's first Empire. Vane is named after the historical pirate Charles Vane who was mentored by Blackbeard and sacked Charleston, South Carolina! Favorite character: the droid SM-33. Obviously, named after Captain Hook's first mate, Smee! Awesome Jude Law reveal at the end. A very interesting Jedi, indeed.

Blasters are famously very effective against force users. Jude Law could have escaped the Brig, but without a ship he's going to end up dead.

I think Jude Law is the pirate Captain wearing the mask in the opening scene.
