    if you are in the market for a new laptop I would recommend an ASUS due to how they are manufactured now compared to HP, Dell, Gateway, etc today. I would go with the Asus i5 20gb Ram 512 SSD drive on Amazon. I've had a random white flickering screen for years now and I'm taking mine apart to see if there is just simply a loose cable. It definitely works while being plugged into a TV so I assume it's some sort of connection while it works great when it's not flickering!

    i have seen a few videos like this, however my toshiba sattelite does not have screws. it has 4 little rubber 'feet' in the top half of the bezel, which pop out, but no screws behind them, i think they are just to stop the screen resting directly on the keyboard when closed. is there another way of removing the bezel/screen ?

    Do I have to match the “exact” screen model number to my laptop model number or will it be compatible within the series I.e “L55” series instead of L55t-a1234

    Hey'a. Thanks so much for your video. I've been looking for videos to help me understand how to repair my broken screen cable on my Satellite P50-C. Since you actually look like you've done that 1000 times before, can I ask you a couple of questions? 1. I see one end of the cable is exposed after removal of the screen (thanks for showing that), but how do I exposed the other end? Do I need to take the back cover off? 2. Do I need to look for a part number on the actual cable in order to get the correct one, or do I just type the model of my laptop along with the first group of numbers as you've mentioned here? I'm totally new to this, but I'm willing to give it a go. 🙂

    So I took two screws off but then their are two other buttons or something like that at the top hand corners. The screws were at the bottom corners.

    hello there, my screen was jumping and thought to unplug and plugback the cord to the screen, accidentally my laptop was turned on at that time and , while i was doing a little spark occurred, don't know why, now the screen is not at all working,its just like not being connected to the laptop, dead, what to do, is it the screen's problem or the cod. it was working but was only jumping, but if you press at the bottom of the screen jumping even would stop at that time, now even all is dead (toshiba satellite C660D-1GD)

    So if my bezel were to have broken on one of the hinges how would you recomend going about fixing that? I love my Toshiba and would like to not have to replace it if I don't have to. Screen still works fine I just can't open or close it without the bezel popping. I've tried JB welding the bezel back together and super glue but whenever I open or close it once it will pop out of place again.

    Great video! Thanks for the tutorial! One question: would it be possible to replace a broken screen which is non-touch sensitive with one that is touch sensitive? Or is there more to it than that?

    • @littlevero9077
      @littlevero9077 3 года назад

      I wouldn’t think it would affect anything or make any damage but i wouldn’t replace it with a touch sensitive one because it’ll probably function differently and it’ll be a bit difficult. At least..thats what i predict.

    On 1:07 - 1:11 - if the screen got broken, the laptop will be stopping working by the program errors, which will shut the computer into reboot when the errors got accumulating into PC memory. If you use the outside monitor, it is may be good, but the broken screen is phisically making the distortions, that got automatically registered into PC and to prevent any sequenced damages - the PC will turn-off by self in the cold reboot. To fix it up is required to find the hardware which is the fault of the PC re-settings. If it is the broken screen - it is required just change the hardware after which the hardware will not sending the error messages to self-checking function in the PC.
