@@arcane3943 I believe it was when in older versions, chunks would get corrupted or reloaded or something along those lines and basically all your progress, or anything you had done there would vanish.
After exploring the cave, just trying to get out and it was filled.

35:27 They leave the door *open* as they go inside.
They then jumped off the roof to exit the house to investigate the cave.

It's just... Perfect, no JumpScares, just suspense, taking advantage of Minecraft's own horror atmosphere, and some added sounds, but nothing more, just a Vanilla Minecraft horror video, with a beautiful suspense.
Plus, the conversations are not voice chat or anything like that, just... A common chat, where the time between texts appearing make suspense like crazy, apporting a lot to the atmosphere.

A touch that I find very unsettling is that there are no naturally spawned monsters in the game at night. It's like even the monsters do not dare being in the game.
The Mobs after seeing some shit: “alright you take the job, I’ma head out to retirement home”
I noticed that near the end I haven’t seen a single monstor spawn the entire time, they even said they needed diamond armor to go to the ocean monument so they clearly weren’t on peaceful mode.

There is a secret code in Minecraft I think. There is a big secret that Mojang did not intend in the code to make. I’m pretty sure that it was not intended to make it, so that if you abuse behaviors, even by accident, it makes the world corrupted. 20:39 there is a certain way that creepy things happen in Minecraft that need to be fixed.

Bro I saw an entirely black figure walking on the other side of the village when I was at me mates house and we were the only ones in his offline world on his ps4, the village was entirely abandoned and there were no cobwebs or blocks missing from the buildings, it was just empty of life, my friend was in the bathroom when I saw it. I have no idea what on gods green earth it was, it wasn’t herobrine, it was just entirely black…
This was one of the scariest things I ever watched. All the silence, the scary music, the Minecraft sounds and the fact that I was wearing headphones made everything scarier

This is genuinely scary, thought this would be something dumb but no this was actually creepy on so many levels.
Like the fact that they're using in game chat makes this so much more creepier because when the individuals in the video are talking to each other it kinda gives it all away as their tone doesn't match the situation they are currently in. I love it. Ray always does a great job on these videos man keep it up.
The best part is the old tv effect and the creepy musics... keeps u in focus, idk if this is real or no but if it is i hope that stone_fridge ram is good lol
@@MostafaMohamed-te9ub yeah I know right but the thing is, the way they went about it is really good, normally you do communicate using the in-game chat unless you're recording a video it's not normal to always be in a call while playing Minecraft. The amount of realism this had is disturbing on some level

Im currently on min 12:16 and i dont find it ACTUALLY scary, i think only the music makes it scary, imagine the video with only the minecraft sounds, that shows the story its not scary, but the music makes it waaaaay more creepy that it actually is
One time I was mining for so long and got so wealthy. I was so proud and tired and ended the day.
The day I came back to my world I noticed I was losing stacks of iron and gold
I thought the glitch would end if I left and came back but it didn’t.
I lost everything and was so upset for the fact I had to delete my best world I have yet created.😢
I checked all my storage and remembered the moment I pressed “save and quit” after that long mining trip.
Right now, I just blame the caves and cliffs update cuz my world was ruined right after it.
This vid reminds me of that awesome world I once enjoyed. Hopefully I spawn the perfect world for me and my friends to play on.

i love how they still manage to crack a joke or two in scary moments like this like for example at 32:34, he just bonks him in the head with cobblestone. Kinda wholesome to be honest, reminds me of me and my friends messing around in games like Roblox or something

This was actually pretty good the slow pace made it feel more and more intense as the video played on and I like how it didn’t rely on creepy imagery. It utilised Minecraft’s quiet, empty and abandoned atmosphere to evoke fear of the unknown, basically when you don’t hear anyone and are put into a world where you would typically expect people to inhabit (like Minecraft) you begin to suspect that someone is watching you as a means of meeting that expectation. The characters were a bit too quick to jump to crazy conclusions about the tunnel blockages, if I were put in the same situation and I was with my friend, I would immediately accuse him even if I know it wouldn’t of been possible.

A touch that i find quite brilliant is that despite the aura being quite ominous, there’s never an outright jumpscare or any direct proof of an entity. it just teases you but never actually shows anything concrete

Maybe next time you could try the opposite as well… Imagine your tunnels started expanding and then suddenly they were infinite, and the farther in you went the more horribly distorted everything became, and you realize you’re being chased… but there’s no where to hide… no way to turn around. You just have to keep going through the tunnel…

This is really good.All I have to say is that this is a really good way of making a horror element story on minecraft.Usually i'd think without any mods it's hard to make horror stories so convincing.And the whole idea of something/someone messing around with 2 friends server.But,to be completely honest I think you're the best minecraft creepypasta youtuber ive ever seen.I mean,having a story this good and interactions being that realistic is quite the effort to making a really convincing creepypasta video.If creepypastas werent comfirmed to be a debunked myth in minecraft,I probably would've half believe this.
I think i have a theory. I'm gonna call the thing filling in the caves "Kay vin" (a play on the words cave in). Kay vin seems to be the solid black entity with a hunched over posture. I think this because kay vin was seen in the caves and entering the caves. When stone fridge's fps dropped, later the two would enter the caves to find that an exponential portion of the caves were missing. When your frame rate drops, it's either because of lag, or too much RAM being consumed at once (there's a lot of other reasons, i'm not a technician.) We know it's not lag, as it was stated in the video. So it has to be RAM. RAM is used to process changes made in a game. When you run out of RAM, the game freezes. When RAM is used in minecraft, it's to process "updates." Updates are made when the state of any block changes (blocks being created or destroyed, levers or buttons being pressed, bees pollenating flowers, redstone being turned on or off, etc.). When a lot of updates are being processed, minecraft slows down the framerate to deal with all of them. This explains why stone fridge's framerate drops. When so many blocks, like stone from a cave, are being placed, RAM is consumed at a high rate. This leads me to belive that whenever stone fridge's game lags, kay vin is busy doing his thing. On a side note, most of the gameplay outside takes place at night. I ask you one question: what should be happening but isn't during nightime? Can't answer? Why are beds used? To bypass night, correct. Why, though? What happens at night that separates it from daytime?
The mobs, yes! A good 95% of the outside gameplay happened at night, and not a single mob spawned. It only adds to the uncanny-ness.
One time I was in a cave in my world, and heard some noises that creeped me out. So I exited the world, and in the smol picture I thought I could see a figure right next to me. So I didn't want to go in that world again, but kept it around in case I ever wanted to. Then, much later, I decided to go into the world. When I appeared, it turned out the figure was just shadows on the cobblestone or something. So I dug out of the cave, and when I got to the surface I saw one of the most beautiful Minecraft scenes I've ever seen. Seriously, there was a sunset and a field of flowers and everything. Anyway, I still remember that moment. Guess some things turn out differently from what you expect :)

It makes me feel so nostalgic. Around 10 years ago, was once a world in MC PE that I built up a Kingdom. Minecraft PE back then had only 5 item slots and finite world. After many years passed by, I went back in that world and there was a glitch. Whole chunk disappeared, and it happened everywhere. That world is long gone now, I can’t retrieve it back too, but it will still remains in my memory.

It’s interesting that it’s using world corruption as a form of horror in this, I’ve had a world get corrupted where my entire mine reverted back because I forgot to backup and using that is so cool
to be honest, its hard to make a creepypasta on the new minecarft versions, the textures look way more polished and natural, but the old/og textures have a bit of an "eerie" feeling to them

The same thing applies to indie horror games (the good ones, at least). Since the games are so low budget, and might only have a few people working on them, they focus horror and atmosphere instead of good graphics.
The more janky look can also add to the horror, because you don't always know what you're looking at. Though you still need to effort into the graphics, because bad design is still bad design.
TLDR:
Janky = creepy
Too janky = goofy
not only minecraft too. its just that feeling of eerie nostalgia, old steam games gives out that feeling too
thats why i use nostalgic texture packs, you find the right one and it sets the mood again

The concept is so simple, seemingly two kids judging from how they talk in chat and their builds s way of playing, with the concept of tunnel horror making such a scary story, this is a master piece

I actually really liked this creepypasta, the slow buildup and suspense was nice and actually kept my interest till the end which is often kinda hard for media to do due to my adhd. It seemed like an actual coversation between friends with natural flow. The only moment that threw me a bit off was when POV-dude said that sponges are worth more than gold in minecraft cuz to me it seemed kinda unlikely that one would say "in minecraft" in minecraft and because of that it seemed more like an explanation for the watcher than for the other player. The ending was okay but at least to me not super outstanding. Like kinda true neutral. It could have maybe have been a bit better if it would have still been POV as the whole video was POV and a change of POV seems strange in this case. It could still have had the same story just maybe executed in a way that the POV-Dude said mostly the same things but also that he uploaded the video that he maybe filmed for a let's play or something to get what happened out there because it was so strange which would explain why this video is on youtube in the first place. Just some tips for next projects or so, i really enjoyed the story :)

I was in a faction server, going to the Nether to mine out ancient debris and I accidentally died, when I came back a lot of the tunnels & bed explosions were filled up and I quickly founded myself blocked and scrambling to mine out new tunnels and return to the portal
Nothing paranormal tho, there just was an auto-regen plugin and I had no idea of it

I feel like this is a better psychological horror/thriller than a lot of triple a horror movies I’ve seen. I’ve never been so engrossed in a Minecraft video that didn’t have people verbally talking & being funny. I haven’t looked away once. 10/10

This actually happened to me, but it’s nothing to worry about, but if you’re worried it’ll affect your world then yeah, just delete it. This is just one of those weird Minecraft bugs
This video was very engaging! I wanted to see how things would develop and was invested from start to finish! The ending felt a little anti climactic but it was still very well done!
It could've been simply a lag load glitch. I have too experienced this before, and instead of deleting my hard worked world, I instead made a copy of it, played the copy of it, went back and the tunnel was there.
If you're playing on a low-end PC, your PC cannot handle anymore blocks that you've mined, in which to save CPU's life, Minecraft reloads your mined blocks.

How to fix your world:
1. Enter creative modes.
2. Off your volumes.
3. Use "/kill @e".
4. That's it.
Edits: The story looking kinda realastic i guess, the tunnels filled in with stone. There must be some 1 joined without systems. Or i wrong, comments if you wanted to explain.

I remember this time back around when 1.11 released. Me and my friends built a little town on the end islands. One time when I was playing alone, working on my house, not sure if it was just the end ambiance or the fear or being alone, but back then I could swear somethign was watching me build from the void around the town. This is genuinely good creepypasta. Tension grows every time, when scary moments happens. And most importantly - there's no stupid jumpscares, just a situation, that could happen to everyone - you somehow getting virus on your computer and it destroys your PC. That makes story even more realistic

So I just randomly found this channel and this is great! It feels like creepypasta from 2010, but in a visual medium. It feels fun and spooky in a way a lot of the churned out "content" creepypasta just doesn't anymore, so this is something special. It's capture that old magic. Thank you.

I seen the tunnel thing twice. First time watching ur channel is now. I bet I will like it.
I imagined it would have a very bad ending, like the game filling the tunnel with the friend trapped inside the stone, "going to hell" and describing what he sees in a horrible way

The spookiest part was that Fridge only had 2 gb of ram and was running Minecraft. That's some supernatural stuff right there.
