I actually just got my car done today, a 2016 Hyundai i30. Its no Ferrari lol, but it does make the car pop and gives it that shiny, always clean, just washed look, bit pricey at first, but worth it in the long run. makes maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle a lot easier. Great video.
Those cars are awesome. But I just loaned my very first car two weeks ago, The Toyota Yaris Cross V 2025. I loved it so much. And I booked a graphene coating installation next week for it.❤❤
We screwed then living in the UK 🇬🇧. It’s rained more here since the October of 2023 than the rain forest. It’s the 1st of July 2024 and it’s still raining
I did my truck, which I use year round in Vermont, so exposed to salt and winter contamination. Unable to wash (pretty useless exercise in winter) truck in winter, your recommendation please.
My car was clean not too long ago, how do you deal with the dust? I hear a duster is not good to use, so what do you do just wait and wash again or do you use a wax spray to lube, towel and just wax spray the whole car.
Just wipe it gently with microfiber cloth small part dipped in water. I did it as well within the 4 hours after getting it from the shop. I saw a dried bird poop and I thought it would affect the ceramic coating full drying process
It makes the car easier to wash as contaminants are less likely to bind to the coating compared to the clear coat, it's also very hydrophobic so water just runs off it, I have it on my windows as well and it makes a difference when driving on the motorway in the rain, the water literally flies off it also protects the clear coat itself which is the main purpose, any scratches or contaminants will degrade the coating which can be reapplied, rather than the clear coat which is obviously more difficult to reapply or touch up
If you watch to the end of the video, he mentions this after the drying phase. His two recommendations were Carpro Reload and a Gtechniq product which I didn't catch.
what do you use to keep the water running off and bead up like when you wax may be dumb question do you wax a ceramic coating just purchase a car with ceramic coating totally new to me!!!
I'm hoping you've found the answer by now because your comment is 6 month old but the best way to inform yourself is to speak to the detailer who did the ceramic coating! If you didn't get to meet them when you bought your car, you should ask for their details so you know where to take your car for its maintenance (as the video says, at the 6 month mark or 12 month mark depending on the product, application, where you live and how you use the car etc). The ceramic coating in itself should do the beading or sheeting. You should not add a wax to the coating as it will prevent the coating from doing its job and will make your car less hydrophobic. There are ceramic sprays you can use to finish up your wash or periodically top up your coating, and two of them are mentioned at the end of this video. They are not needed, as the ceramic coating is itself hydrophobic but they do add extra gloss and can help prolong your coating's life.
Maintenance is what keeps vehicles in their tip top shape, you should always have it done right by professionals to start with and keep up the minimal cost of upkeep to a professional standard
@@Vxc6hahaha yes. So you have to pay for the coating which is expensive as it is, then every six months a maintenance detail which is about 250. Hell naw
Ceramic Snake Oil GTX-12345678910-R needs to be reapplied at regular intervals to prevent bank account decontamination, or is it contamination? I dunno, maybe I need to watch this guy wash his car inside his house again...

Great information, great video!
Does the iron and tar remover affect the life of the ceramic coating ?? Or you can apply them whenever you want?
Usually the iron and tar remover is ph neutral. But check to make sure!

So whats the point of cermamic coating ???

Just use the Turtle Wax ceramic spray coating. Soooooooooooooooooooo much easier and faster to apply and it gives you the same results.
@@gregwallace6159definitely not the same results.

I thought you want to do foaming first rather than spraying? To lift the dirt off better without scratching.

Was there any other words said before, in between or after contaminated, decontaminated, decontamination or contamination?. 🤣😂
Never have I seen a dirtier wash bay…god damn
I'm more concerned about your garage wall linings
👌👌
Quick question
If my car is ceramic coated can I just avoid the hassle and take it through a touch less car wash 🧼
Will this cause any issues ?
Yea.. this is all a bit strange.. you pay the money for the ceramic coating to mitigate all this maintenance
First you spend money and time to get costing, then you do it all over to protect it. Wtf
Maintenance is what keeps vehicles in their tip top shape, you should always have it done right by professionals to start with and keep up the minimal cost of upkeep to a professional standard
Everything is maintainence and upkeep my friend. Cars get abased everyday, so especially cars.
Sir this coatings and all the maintaining and costs is for expensive cars not for our Toyota corolla daily driver 😂😂
