Heads up. We're part of a pilot program that creates multi-language audio for our videos. If you want to hear what we sound like in Spanish or Portuguese, you can change the audio track language in the Settings menu. And yes, this particular video gave me a woman's voice. 😂 We'll fix that moving forward.
Okay. I immediately stopped the video to listen to you as a Spanish-speaking women. Kinda awesome! Not sure if she is an excellent computer-generated translator or a very monotone women. I am guessing, the former. Not bad tech, if personality is not required. Now back to inglés.
No, it’s very good translation and very well done. The fact I questioned it was computer generated for a second is a big improvement. Still, i don’t want to overstate it. I think your job is safe.
Evie summed it up better than the regular car reviewers. "Triangles outside, circles inside!" It's premium/luxury quirk that zips. Honestly, would watch for more banter!
Hyundai/Kia have been KILLING it with the EV design. These cars look like space ships and are super nice to be inside of. Unfortunately I have no desire/practicality for an EV. But these interior designs are out of the world and if it had a German badge on it people would lose their minds
I remember watching the Chrysler Pacifica review and Micah's daughter was a baby, just felt 100 years old, lol. Beautiful happy family, great review as always.
Thanks guys. This was one of the most fun and informative reviews I've seen in a really, really long time. We recently went and test drove one these and WOW it was fantastic! There were so many little features and hidden things that it was almost overwhelming. It would take some serious time and snooping to find them all. The only reason we didn't buy that day was the dealer tacked on $17,500 to the sticker!!! Yeah - $17,500! I refuse to pay over sticker and I think anyone willing to pay $85,500+ for one of these is crazy. Loved it otherwise and we may still get one, we're just going to wait for the market to cool off a bit. You guys are awesome - keep up the great work and thanks from all of us out here in RUclips-land.
Love your family reviews and your daughter really adds to the reviews. My son just bought the exact color and trim of your review and I concur with your comments. Comparing the GV60 Performance with our Model Y, the Genesis is quieter, has a plusher suspension, is prettier (subjective opinion), and is faster than our dual motor Long Range. The Tesla has better range, more room, and access to the awesome Tesla charging network. Since we don't normally take the Model Y on long trips, today I would probably pick the GV60 over the Model Y. For anyone that will take long trips in their EV, the Tesla still is the better choice.
There aren't many upbeat, family-oriented, agendaless, and positive YT videos around these days. Think I'd watch these videos even if there were no cars involved. Nice work Team Muzio.
I just love these family reviews. They’re so relatable, but I don’t want their daughter to get older. I like watching her reactions to see which cars have a cool factor and which ones she’s like meh! She’s a huge part of these reviews in my opinion, but when she becomes a teenager she’ll be too embarrassed to be riding in the car with mom and dad! Lol I hope not!
Seen this reviewed prior and overall seems like a nice package. Some of the tech is really cool. That globe shifter really stands out. That thing is wild lol
Love this little bubble-shaped rocket. We chose the Mach E, which meets all of our needs. I think looks great by comparison to the GV60, but the creature comforts on the Genesis are on another level.
I agree with Evie on that little triangle on the grille.. I’d try to delete that. But I also think the c-pillar zigzag is weird. I’d prefer the cars looks without those two bits.
EV manufacturers sure love adding more and more horsepower and torque. I prefer to go farther than faster. 235 miles range is not enough in my opinion for the price.
In my experience owning a Model Y, fast charging is slightly more important than outright range. I typically stop every 180 miles or so (every 2.5 - 3 hours) just to take a break. And when I stop I plug in for 20 minutes to recoup my miles. Then, rinse and repeat. I was able to get slightly north of 300 miles on a charge at a steady 63mph cruise on a trip to up-state NY once. That's close to 5 hours on a single leg. Never doing that again. Stop and charge my friend. 235 is cutting it close, but its plenty of miles for everyday use in my opinion.
@@Soh90 And we all have different experiences. Outright range is important to me since I've experienced a loss of 25% range in the winter. I'd prefer that 25% is reduced from a higher beginning number than a low one. I currently have a Model 3 and Chevrolet Bolt EUV. I also prefer road trips without stopping longer than needed for quick bathroom break. Why? Because I've been ICE'd 3x the past year at charging stations on road trips.
Just when I thought I had all the YT automotive news channels covered like "Out of Spec Motoring, Throttle House, The Straight Pipes, Doug DeMoro, InsideEV's etc...." I find this channel. Guess I have room for another sub lol. Not sure why I like this channel but I do and I've seen this vehicle reviewed like 6 times.
I love the look of the GV60, especially the one you have (I want dark interior though). I've reached out to my local Genesis here in WA to get on the list now that they are selling in WA. There is 0 inventory though. We'll need one by June or so since we'll be handing down our 2009 CRV to our son when he turns 16.
If you are open to a road trip, Genesis of Milford Connecticut, is selling them at sticker and has some available! If you do ask for Mitch, he helped me with mine, and mention Thomas!
I love this car, but it is to expensive. 58k starting is ridiculous, especially since it has a less than 300 mile range. I think 50k starting is more reasonable.
Another great review! I like the GV60, but it seems too generic for $60K+. It will be interesting to see how it ages. The Porsche Macan seems like a good alternative.
She won't peel out in ECO mode. Save money on gas? How much is Electricity at commercial charging stations in your area and how much at home after taxes and fees are added to the cost per kWh
I love this hatchback..sadly, price is way too high. Only if Mazda could make their model 3 hatchback like this with a lower price point, it would be a real winner!
Interesting car, but it needs at least another 100 miles of usable range, especially in hot and/or cold climates where published range is compromised by ambient temperatures and the use of HVAC systems while driving.
Nice review...cool looking car...I'm not into electric cars at all..and anything smaller than a midsized suv..looks fun but a little pricey..not worth it to me...thanks keep testing and reporting
Why do you Americans NOT have the camera "mirrors" like we do here in Australia, or Europe or Asia ? These electronic mirrors are brilliant in low light or in wet weather , give the best blind spot coverage and of course minimises the wind noise due to its much smaller size. Why don't American models offer this great feature ? Is it because you still haven't embraced the metric system ?
They recently reviewed an EV Genesis G80 sedan on this channel. That might be considered more of a “flagship” since I think it’s larger and more expensive. But Hyundai group has some very promising EV platforms coming. The Genesis model of the Ioniq 6 platform is going to be very interesting.
Did you find the steering wheel getting in the way of the digital instruments? When I drove the "cousin" EV6, I kept having to peer around to see the speed, blind spot cameras, etc. Thanks!
I really like the styling of the Genesis GV60, but I'm with Evie on that little body-colored piece in the front bumper. It irritates me! I guess the only way to resolve this would be for Genesis to loan me a GV60 for 12 months. Yeah I know, this would never happen 🙏
I think they are pushing for EVs knowing that we are not there yet as far as the infrastructure as well EVs are not as green as they say I am thinking they meen Green for Money .. Great video I can’t believe how big your little girl is
Great review. Why does Evie talk like a little girl? There's a timid-ness to it that's hard to listen to at times. No offense, just my perspective. If you're trying to build a wider audience, I would be aware of that.

@@Jorge_Magallon I appreciate you giving a listen! You’re right, it’s computer generated but so far everyone says the translation is decent.
No, it’s very good translation and very well done. The fact I questioned it was computer generated for a second is a big improvement. Still, i don’t want to overstate it. I think your job is safe.
it removes all of the original audio, subtitles in other languages is a much better solution.
As a Brazilian I approve the Portuguese. And Micah sounds sexy in Portuguese... which is a sentence that I'd never thought I'd say
Evie summed it up better than the regular car reviewers. "Triangles outside, circles inside!" It's premium/luxury quirk that zips. Honestly, would watch for more banter!
You've homed in on what I love about making videos with Evie. She's not a car expert...but she's amazingly perceptive. Thanks for watching!
I think that looks incredible! Genesis have really been making some awesome cars.
Hyundai/Kia have been KILLING it with the EV design. These cars look like space ships and are super nice to be inside of. Unfortunately I have no desire/practicality for an EV. But these interior designs are out of the world and if it had a German badge on it people would lose their minds
You can't go wrong with a tunnel of sharing ☺️
I love the little squeal at 9:45…. Evie was definitely not expecting that!
That is a very sweet and unique vehicle!
Great review. This is a fabulous, beautiful, fast and comfortable car. My favorite. And your family does a great review.
Love that color! Thanks for another fun review!
Always fresh...Your reviews are:)! Thank you!!!
And thank you for joining us!!
Excellent video!
I remember watching the Chrysler Pacifica review and Micah's daughter was a baby, just felt 100 years old, lol. Beautiful happy family, great review as always.
Oh my gosh... Evie was so cute and funny in this video! Love it. 🤣😋

Good looking EUV, not that everyday boring Tesla Model Y that looks like a blob...
Excellent review! Always enjoy your content!
Love the ev reviews! Can you do the Bolt EUV next?

Awesome review, family!!! And thank you for making the flying eyes advert waaaaaaaay shorter!!! Genesis is coming for everybody's money!!!
Hi Micah! Nice to see your video this early, for us commoners, at least.

Yes, I love the style of gv60

I love the little Evie scream during the boost lol! 😂
1:44 “Ohh. You can stay but I’m leaving!”
Smart having that Contigo locked with that white interior.
🎼Secret tunnel! Secret tunnel, through the consule! Secret secret tunnel!
I’ve ordered one.
I feel the world has gone mad, breaking on the inside comment! That face you made sums up how I feel.
Oh, good. I'm not the only one. 🫠
There’s a modern art deco charm to it.

Is the color more blue or does it lean more towards green, or does it change depending on the lighting?
Really miss the helicopter videos hoping for some new ones soon. Hoping for a San Fernando valley and Ventura county tour.
I love this car, but it is to expensive. 58k starting is ridiculous, especially since it has a less than 300 mile range. I think 50k starting is more reasonable.
Looks good. 😉
"Ha-now-ma" Bay would be slightly more accurate.
I've seen a few of these on the road and they look better in real life. It's a bit too small in the cargo area for my uses, though.
I would like to see a video about your favorite family ev that you have tested 🙂
Looks like a hatchback with giant wheels
Great review, as always. Starting with the exterior and the rotating orb gear selector, this vehicle is too quirky, and not in a good way.
The base trim has vinyl seat surfaces the Performance has Nappa leather.
I want to love this EV more than the Ioniq 5 but I can’t get beyond it’s face. It looks like some sort of marine life gasping for air.
Another great review! I like the GV60, but it seems too generic for $60K+. It will be interesting to see how it ages. The Porsche Macan seems like a good alternative.
Best EV right now...
Hey Micah, my sons name is Micah too lol. I was wondering if you could do a Ram 2500 Power Wagon video please!!
I thought it was pretty cool, so I bought one.
Folks who miss manual transmissions will like 1-pedal driving. I love it in our Leaf - you have better control over the vehicle's speed.
Is it raining outside? Cool car.💦
I think comparing it to Jeff Goldblum is very fitting! Great review as always!
Interesting car, but it needs at least another 100 miles of usable range, especially in hot and/or cold climates where published range is compromised by ambient temperatures and the use of HVAC systems while driving.
I like the style of this but I wished they had a gas/hybrid version...I don't like full electric cars
Nice review...cool looking car...I'm not into electric cars at all..and anything smaller than a midsized suv..looks fun but a little pricey..not worth it to me...thanks keep testing and reporting

Euronncap (EUrope’s equivalenr of NHTSA) rated this 5 stars out of 5
Is it the flagship EV from Genesis?

If you were employing lane assist, I'm concerned: literally every exterior shot showed the car crossing the white line.
Did you find the steering wheel getting in the way of the digital instruments? When I drove the "cousin" EV6, I kept having to peer around to see the speed, blind spot cameras, etc. Thanks!
👋

Almost didn’t believe it. 248 miles for $60k. Buy a bolt. For half the cost
I think they are pushing for EVs knowing that we are not there yet as far as the infrastructure as well EVs are not as green as they say I am thinking they meen Green for Money .. Great video I can’t believe how big your little girl is
Me either. Dang girl just keeps on growing!
At that price point, less than 300 miles range is pointless
Better than tesla
All of theses circles and triangles but no Gwen Stefani?
Genesis GV60 competes with BMW IX1
Doesn’t wow. Car looks cheap, but enjoyed the video
Great review. Why does Evie talk like a little girl? There's a timid-ness to it that's hard to listen to at times. No offense, just my perspective. If you're trying to build a wider audience, I would be aware of that.
It looks too weird.
So does your mom.
I hated this dubbing feature
Mind if I ask why?
Electric vehicles are terrible for our environment!
Doesnt seem like a $60k+ car
A mid 2000s looking car, and yes the relationship will survive. Who the heck designed this thing. Looks like a silicon baby toy.
just keep driving your 2005 civic ))
What a fugly car.
What an ugly, expensive car. Much better options out there !
