  • Back from the field! Although difficult (and cold) it was quite a rewarding experience that I'm glad I was a part of. Given that I had less than 24 hour notice it was not ideal, but we have to accept what life throws at us and make the most of it.

" the pooch and the warrior " lol. your love and respect for both your dog and parents is excellent. That already makes you a great man! Amor fati ( love of fate )....when death smiles at you , you smile back. keep on the path sir ! 👍

Amor Fati indeed, I’ve certainly have had a few roadblocks recently but they’re just quick stops/brief halts on the continued path to success. Thank you for the comment!

Haha I like cats too but dogs certainly are on another level with loyalty, I always feel very safe with Gimli like he’d help protect me if I got robbed.

could you share your playlist/fav songs/artists?
would be grateful for some recommendations of books and poems too!

I'll need to think about my favorite artists/songs that's a great question, for books though, I recommend the Stoic classics: Meditations, Letters from a Stoic, the Enchiridion, if you want something more difficult and thought provoking, I recommend Nietzsche's Beyond Good and Evil, I'm currently reading and it's quite interesting, especially as a Christian as Nietzsche has many critiques of the religion and other faiths in general. A lesser known good book is Resistance, Rebellion and Death by Camus. I hope you find one that you'll enjoy! I certainly enjoyed reading them.

I started Wrestling in high school then started Jiu Jitsu shortly after, along with boxing/kickboxing/muay Thai later on, and had an amateur mma fight in 2021. I haven’t trained for many months but I gotta get back in the gym and grind.

You should write a book (maybe a guide or blog of all your wisdom)

I plan on writing a book at some point, I've written a lot of journals thus far, I just need to organize them into an actual work, I also plan on writing more blogs on our medium page (link is in the about page). I'm still learning a lot before I can write a good book but it is one of my not too distant goals.
