As a 64 year old man I've yet to see or hear of any priest being prosecuted or imprisoned for sexual abuse, which I think nothing will come of this only accusations and they'll be moved to another state and church to do GOD'S WORK!🤬🤬🤬🤬

If anyone of you have never committed a sin then you have a right to speak. The Catholic Church is comprised of humans that make mistakes. I’m not condoning these vile actions but what have any of you done for God even just today? It’s easier to judge then to be a man or women of action. Again I’m not down playing these terrible acts but stay in your lane and maybe use the same energy you displace in calling people out towards doing something good for your community or church.
Something good for the community like… removing threats to children and protecting them? You say to stay in your lane but when there’s a danger to your parish community is that not your lane? This argument of “stay in your lane” is always funny to me because if everyone just cared about only themselves and their own lane, where would we be? Everyone makes mistakes it’s true, but ignoring active dangers to children just because “hey we shouldn’t judge them” is not smart.

But you would rather they just stay in their lane and not call people out and just do community service at the soup kitchen instead. Makes total sense. This is not the same as judging someone for not showing up to mass on Sunday or for gossiping too much, there are alleged victims who are being affected. The fact that so many Catholics are willing to just ignore this behavior and not call it out is the reason why we are losing so many brothers and sisters in the faith. Please consider, there’s no malice from me just a differing opinion.
