The ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring 2024 is the highlights of the Nürburgring motorsport season. The starting grid includes 130 vehicles, and more than 200,000 spectators are expected to attend the race weekend around the world's longest permanent race track. Thirty of the mighty GT3 cars from Audi, Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche alone with an excellent international driver line-up will be fighting for victory - in many cases with factory support and drivers from the factory squads. The supporting programme is also great with historic and current racing cars as well as countless attractions in the paddock and around the more than 25 km long circuit.

@@BeeBeeRacing What a stupid finish. We all know that Porsche deserved to win because they are the best, if this was a fair race and race control wasn't lazy to end the race than Porsche would have won. Fans would have definetely stayed for the next day.

Bogus... Manthay would have won by a large margin IF the race has continued... But the fog made it undrivable. Need to run this a month later probably to avoid the weather issues

Are you sure?? there were still 16 hours to go , anything could've happened, as a matter of fact something that forced to stop the race happened. Any of the top ten cars could've won after 24 hours.
@@mauriziocardile499 the Manthay Porsche was running 1.5 secs or more a lap faster then any of the other cars and was handling things well.
@@trance9158 16 hours it's a long long time , anything could go wrong, seems like you are blind to the fact that in 16 hours your precious Manthay could've crashed, or somone hit them, a mechanical break , a punctured tyre, any number of things could've ruined the race for them, yet you seem to be able to see the future, a future that never happened.

You can not be proud to win that ridiculous 8 hour race 😅
But they couldn't do anything about it, so it's not their fault

7 hours and 37 minutes (I believe) was all of the racing. The rest would sadly not happen.

the real let-down was not having John Hindaugh grace us with his commentary. he did give some "unofficial updates" though so that was pretty great.

Well that race was a bit useless.
The fog from track side cameras looks much worse than the fog from the in car cameras. Which one was the more accurate representation of what the drivers were seeing?

Die Aussage war: Wenn man die komplette GP Strecke Code 60 macht, kommen die Fahrer mit eiskalten Reifen auf die Nordschleife. Nur gelb hätte bei der Sicht nicht gereicht...

Gerne. Ich habe mir deine Frage auch gestellt gestern, bis dann obiges Interview mit dem Rennleiter kam ;) Echt schade, aber immerhin waren die ersten 7 Stunden gutes Racing (wenn man mal auf das positive schauen möchte)
A win is a win. Remember, the 24-hour label or any other like it (Indy 500, for example) isn't a guarantee. It's only a maximum limit (excepting overtime rules). All things being equal seldom are.

What a joke of a race, not to mention how pathetic that they didn’t livestream it and region locked the event. Makes me not even want to buy a ticket if they’re just going to cancel a race over a bit of fog 😒. I’d hate to be the people who attended

It was streamed for free on Speed Sport 1. And it wasn't a BIT of fog it was a insane amount of fog and if there would have been a wreck the helicopter wouldn't be able to see to get to them.. You clearly didn't watch and clearly have no clue what you're talking about..
Trust me it was foggy beyond the safe limits for the helicopter to fly and marshals to see , noone wanted to not go ahead but you can imagine if the bmw Cayman incident at flugplatz repeated and required urgent evac and they said sorry we can't fly ... sometimes we have to just accept the weather beats us
I literally live there, at 14:00 Even on the normal streets you couldnt see past 50m on some points, its a bummer but there have been enough crashes already.
