Sadly, if you watch the making of videos from each Halo game, you will notice how almost the 90% of the people who were key elements for the franchise are not more in Bungie. Bungie is not the same. Halo is not the same. But the memories are with us forever.

It captures the essence of youth. And still very young myself, I've come to value that period time, seeing the similarities in the college videos, comparing it to my friends and the work that we do… it's scary. +Jason Pak Halo is still alive and well without bungie. Destiny is lackluster. consoles MMO's are unsatisfying grindfest transaction markets. Destiny is not better than even super different made by other ppl Halo. try something else bungie. but it likely wont beat Halo 5 say what you will about Halo's changes. but it has a full campaign and all free DLC and now PVE because i love friefight warzone far more than strikes. coulda just kept making Halo and whatever else on the side but okay, be the underdog. if thats so important.

My first video game console was an Atari 2800 (grew up in the late 70's and early 80's). I could sit and play for hours. Then the NES came out, I could play for hours. When the XBOX came out, I could play for days! Halo blew me away, the story and the locations were really cool.
Seriously, I was wet from tears from half way in to the end of the clip... Words can not describe what emotions which runs through me when I read, play and listen to what have to do with Halo. Halo one was the one game my father bought me before he died, now these games are portals to the nostalgic childhood when everything was innocent and perfect. My father was the one I ever cared about and this is one of my good memories.

Bungie should never have cut ties with Microsoft and fired Martin. Halo and Bungie have suffered a fall from grace. I'm sure Bungie did what they felt was the right choice... But hindsight is 20\20, and it appears past decisions, toxic publishers like Activision, and unrealistic development schedules have developed into disasterous mistakes over the years... Destiny just isn't the successor Halo deserved.

Halo 4 was trying to hard on multi-player and ended up screwing everyone instead. Halo 4 was in general a lot less enjoyable halo game and was a step in the wrong direction.
Fort Legend Well you can't really call Halo 4 a Halo game, it falls short on the standard, that makes a halo , a "Halo Game", Also Reach is my favorite multiplayer but it is quite unbalanced with Armour abilities, they are essentially power weapons that you get to start of with, )they are as powerful/useful as "Power weapons"

A community that's going to tear a company down that wants to do nothing more than to please them. Most people when they want more content want 4 things: they want it bigger, they want it prettier, they want the story to be developed and explained, and they want improvements. Bungie and Microsoft captured that magic and the community harnessed it. The trilogy closed and books were written and the Halo trilogy was done. But there were comments, articles, forums, letters, etc. asking what happens next. People wanted more multiplayer, more maps, wanted the servers to stay, and with the known announcement of another console people wanted to know if Master Chief would exist anywhere. How does a company respond to a community that's been good to them? HD REMAKES! then the answer to people wanting bigger, badder and developed Halo 4! Master Chief gets more personality we see how broken he is. We see how messed up the spartan program is.we find out about the forerunners, and all this other amazing things plus a MC collection that brings back all the games you love and the servers and multiplayer. Why is it so hard to please some of you people? **There might be typos but I'm too lazy to fix them right now.**
I remember my Halo days. My first Halo was Halo 2 but I was too young to know how to connect to xbl, but when I got Halo 3 and my first Xbox 360 the rest was history. I used to play 8 hours a day, hell, I've had nights where I've played for 12 hours straight. Those were the days. It's interesting to see some college students living life turn into something as big as this.

In my heart, Halo 2 is still what I remember most, when we used to play "Zombie" mode, where we Team Slayer, being Red or Green. God... I was 7 years old when I first experienced Halo. I'm not a big fan of the Halo series (I loved the first one a lot but the next ones didn't keep that charm) but now that I look back, I realize how that game modeled the FPS industry into what it is today as well as our gaming experience. Respect to Bungie and good luck with your future projects!

They aren't even IN the main game and it's the stuff that gives you the most story... they really screwed the pooch with storytelling in Destiny. It could have been so good, rich and deep...

For this entire hour long documentary all of the background music was composed by Marty. Not only this but he fills a considerable number of the interview segments as the COMPOSER, someone who in most cases has little to no effect on game design. And to anyone who followed Bungie Marty was one of the most prominent names that came to mind when the company's name was mentioned. The moment Marty was fired is when Bungie fell. Other Bungie greats have been lost along the years, but Marty's loss shines among the rest as one of the most damning company moves. Regardless of if Marty's supposed burnout was to blame for his firing, regardless of if Activision was to blame and wanted to silence him, The loss of Marty should and always will be remembered as the death of Bungie, or at least what we remember Bungie as.

When I bought Halo when it came out, I bought it on a Friday after work. I played non stop that weekend. I think I actually took like 1 - 2 hours naps. I showed up to work on the following Monday and people said I looked terrible. I just laughed and said "I played Halo nonstop over the weekend." I spent most of the time just running around looking at the environment.

Halo Reach was not a failure. It's an amazing game. All be it the campaign wasnt as replayable as the past halo's but it was just as memorible and fun. I love reach and all the halo games.
Capcoms got some product placement with those Ace Attorney pictures in some of the backgrounds. Good video, very nostalgic right now of those crazy Halo 2 MLG games and Halo 3 custom games.

Great documentary. Halo has many key elements all working together to make it successful. Trying to duplicate that with another game will be very difficult. Good luck to Bungie.

i really enjoyed the halo series especially my first experience playing halo2 multiplayer on Live for the first time. halo is really fun and just more fun, i just feel sorry for all the other people who never became part of the community.

Halo:odst was SOOO underrated. It's campaign was the best with it's film-noir theme and the best video game music ever!
Then Bungie never made a ViDoc again, and proceeded to be altered into an Activision studio with tons of replaced employees.

In my heart, Halo 2 is still what I remember most, when we used to play "Zombie" mode, where we Team Slayer, being Red or Green.
Thank you Bungie for moments I shared online, offline doing Forge or Campain and with friends! These moments I spent are unmatched!

Bungie is the foundation of gaming. If it wasn't for them, I most likely wouldn't even be playing games right now. They are a big part of our lives. Them leaving Halo is tough for them and us. But it's not over. They're taking a big step and leaving Halo in the hands of 343. The things that have built up all these years. The love for the community,game and passion of gaming. Hi Bungie my son is a huge fan of destiny and halo and his dream is to work for you one day . He would love to upload more videos and has educational learning difficulties and I wondered if you could follow him He is Simian 99 and adores the game destiny. I had breast cancer this time last year and my dream is for him to get lots of followers for him and ideas to support him on his gaming and uploading on you tube. God... I was 7 years old when I first experienced Halo. I'm not a big fan of the Halo series (I loved the first one a lot but the next ones didn't keep that charm) but now that I look back, I realize how that game modeled the FPS industry into what it is today as well as our gaming experience.

They aren't even IN the main game and it's the stuff that gives you the most story... they really screwed the pooch with storytelling in Destiny. It could have been so good, rich and deep...

Man, bungie era halo was fun, a lot of lighthearted fun, so many awesome moments in multiplayer.
343 killed halo where's the brutes? Why does every thing look different like armor. Music! The music befor was awesome! The Vehicles are good, but some are gone! And most of all, agent Locke. I HATE HIM HE TREID KILLING THE MASTER CHEIF. What is halo with out the master chief. Also the flood. The flood needs to come back. Bungie needs to come back.

For this entire hour long documentary all of the background music was composed by Marty. Not only this but he fills a considerable number of the interview segments as the COMPOSER, someone who in most cases has little to no effect on game design. And to anyone who followed Bungie Marty was one of the most prominent names that came to mind when the company's name was mentioned. The moment Marty was fired is when Bungie fell. Other Bungie greats have been lost along the years, but Marty's loss shines among the rest as one of the most damning company moves. Regardless of if Marty's supposed burnout was to blame for his firing, regardless of if Activision was to blame and wanted to silence him, The loss of Marty should and always will be remembered as the death of Bungie, or at least what we remember Bungie as.

Just watched this ViDoc for the second time and I still find the whole history and development of Bungie's games interesting and unique.
When I bought Halo when it came out, I bought it on a Friday after work. I played non stop that weekend. I think I actually took like 1 - 2 hours naps. I showed up to work on the following Monday and people said I looked terrible. I just laughed and said "I played Halo nonstop over the weekend." I spent most of the time just running around looking at the environment.

Halo Reach was not a failure. It's an amazing game. All be it the campaign wasnt as replayable as the past halo's but it was just as memorible and fun. I love reach and all the halo games.
Capcoms got some product placement with those Ace Attorney pictures in some of the backgrounds.

Great documentary. Halo has many key elements all working together to make it successful. Trying to duplicate that with another game will be very difficult. Good luck to Bungie.

i really enjoyed the halo series especially my first experience playing halo2 multiplayer on Live for the first time. halo is really fun and just more fun, i just feel sorry for all the other people who never became part of the community.
