Nice silver! I also have those acid testing kits. I have to say the silver one makes it very difficult to distinguish between the red and the brown and the green. Someone told me that if you use the 22 karat gold one and it turns blue kind of a silvery blue, that is also also silver. I’ve tried that several times and it seems to work. I find it much easier than the silver acid test. Good luck and happy hunting.

I’ve heard the same Donna, but my test kit only has silver and 14k acids. Thanks for watching and good luck out there in NYC!
Another way to acid test for silver is to use the 18k acid. If the line turns a chalky blue color, then you have silver.
