      she still has her original teeth, bonding isn't like veneers where you have to compromise your original tooth shape for cosmetics. bonding doesn't last forever and her teeth will look like they originally did in about 3-5 years if she doesn't get the procedure redone

    What if I have Bruxism and have a night guard how would I get composite bonding done? Would it be worth the cost? Would I have to get a new night guard? And are they more likely to chip?

    • @bonddentallondon7514
      @bonddentallondon7514  3 месяца назад +1

      With composite bonding, we would be altering the shape of your teeth so your old night guard would no longer fit. So yes, you would need a new night guard to fit you.
      Composite Bonding isn’t as strong as your natural teeth. However they are still very durable, with your night guard and avoiding biting your nails or opening packaging with your teeth you shouldn’t have any issues with chipping.

    Is composite bonding good for cavities in a front tooth? I also have a very gaps at the bottom of my teeth where the enamel has broken away from poor dental care... Would composite work for that?

    • @bonddentallondon7514

      Yes, it is the same material used for fillings. Possibly, it’s hard for us to say 100% without you having been seen in person.

    • @bonddentallondon7514
      @bonddentallondon7514  9 месяцев назад +4

      They don't alter the way you talk, unless perhaps you had large gaps that caused a lisp that was fixed with the composite. The lisp would now be gone.

      Make sure the composite bonding is of good grade ,many conposites contain Bpa ,which is dangerous to human health ,make sure the dentist tells you the conposition of what he put in your mouth ,some dentists can be quite scummy and screw over people on purpose

    • @Manhaaxox
      @Manhaaxox 8 месяцев назад +8

      This is supposed to be permanent but with composite bonding they can pop of sometimes so you need to get them redone in 8-10 years, as opposed to veneers which are permanent (but really bad for your teeth)

    • @bonddentallondon7514
      @bonddentallondon7514  9 месяцев назад +1

      It is essentially done in two visits. One visit will be a consultation, doing all of the necessary examinations to see if you are a suitable candidate for the treatment. Then the next visit will be the treatment itself in which you leave with your final smile. In some cases we book another appointment to make some minor tweaks or changes if you need. Prices start from £195 per tooth.

    The good news is your original teeth look better and that composite bonding was basically created yesterday in the 60s so you can forget about it ever holding up. It’ll be gone in 4-10 years. 10-20 years it will brown too.

    • @bonddentallondon7514
      @bonddentallondon7514  2 месяца назад +2

      The patient wasn’t happy with the appearance of their teeth before and while we agree she has always had a beautiful smile, she achieved her desired outcome and was very happy. That is all that matters.
      The whole reason we chose to do composite bonding was because it isn’t permanent and it doesn’t affect her teeth at all. She can always go back to her natural smile whenever she chooses.
      With correct care, it won’t ‘brown.’
