Crystal, I’m actually working on a short version of this based on the sizing of one I received as a gift from my daughter and SIL for Christmas last year. I’m loving wearing it on warmer winter days over a long sleeve top. I’m making it for a very large young woman I know from church who wears tee shirts all year round and no coat because of her size. She has little means and outreach tries to find clothes that fit her, but they just aren’t big enough. So I decided I had to make her one like mine at least. Was making it to come to mid thigh but I just ordered #5 yarn to make her one of your design shown. The one I received as a gift is machine made, so I’m just making my own pattern with sc stitches and I’m working bottom back to bottom front because of how I measured mine. I never thought of making 2 panels sideways like ur pattern. I will use ur pattern with the new yarn. God is so good. My DIL gave me a gift card to Joann’s last Christmas so it only actually cost me $5 and change. I can’t wait to finish this short one and make her the long one too. Please say a prayer they come out ok (especially this shorter one) & that she’s not insulted when I offer them to her. Thank you for this video. What a coincidence for me! Thank you. Stay safe.
