    You really hit some nice areas out there! I had no clue the trails went that deep on that side of the Sierras. We need to link up again before summers end.

    Loved this one. The valve stem argument was true LOL and, NO, Mike, I don’t think those waders add 20 lbs to your elite figure! 😀👏🏼😂👊🏼👍🏼

    I haven't spent enough time along the Walker and it's such an amazing place.

      If you want to get away from the crowds and some scenic geology it is a great place to explore!

    Great video again Mike. Greg wasn’t telling you the truth the waders did add to that elite figure but it may have been the bacon.

    Great video as always! Awesome everything! I guess that’s why they call it fishing and not catching. I’m surprised the “Biteme” pullover Shawn was wearing didn’t have the intended effect. Or, the valve stem cap high sierra stand-off nixed the vibe. I’ve just ordered Shawn 200 valve stem caps. I hope that’s enough. Any how, keep the faith, hit ‘em hard and rip some lip 😂

    Wow another great video! Hey Mike do you glue your patches to your roof pnls? I need an idea……

      I use hot head roof panels which stick on with double sided tape. Then regular Velcro backing on the patches can be pressed on to the panels! Also keeps the Jeep cooler in hot weather. Thanks for comment and watching! 🙌

    So since we are from the same area basically. What's your views on Tenkara lol. I know your a fly fishing guy so wanted to get your take. Also what's your favorite spots to hit in the 530?

    • @flyfisher530
      @flyfisher530  2 месяца назад +1

      I think Tenkara is a great way to fish if you are hiking and just want a very basic and lightweight form of fishing. It’s just not for me as I enjoy the casting aspect of flyfishing. Favorite spots in the 530 would be north of Truckee and the Hope Valley areas. See some of my latest videos about these areas if you haven’t already. Thanks for watching! 👍

      @@flyfisher530 I’m checking them now. I’ll be up in the Tahoe forest for 4 days up by Bowman Lake the first weekend of August and hope to get some good fishing in.
