I imagine that in the actual canon John would have killed more like 8 of his men ,same as most missions in the story .Killing a whole army of fodder is more for gameplay purposes but story wise I imagine it to be less intense .

This is how i view most violent fiction. I also use the military stats that say that about a third to a quarter of all the losses are actual deaths and most are just hurt or majorly disabled by Arthur's shooting them (obviously not the ones with their heads blown clean off).
i feel the same always thought it was strange that you kill so many people in missions but dutch killing a girl on the ferry in blackwater was a huge deal

@@monch1803 These people are enemies, the girl on the ferry was innocent, and Dutch showed no emotion and simply executed her for sport

When i hear this I genuinely wanna cry red dead redemption is a game where you actually feel like your there like your the character in the american venom first time i played it I literally was having so much adrenaline i felt like i actually was shooting

I think the best way to finish American Venom is by using John's classic outfit, John's cattleman revolver, sawed-off shotgun, and the legendary Winchester repeater from rdr1 (u can edit the Lancaster repeater to make it look like the Winchester repeater from rdr1)

@@nelihmazen1420 you can change before the shootout starts and John gets off his horse, BUT if u die in the mission u will get the winter outfit again
The notes when joe and the goons appear made it really feel like you were bout to end things for good
Lore-accurate would be John actually not taking any hits from these goons. I completed American Venom wearing Legend of the East, just walking, and not taking any damage. Most badass way to end things there.
Thats not lore accurate tho, thats what u see in movies, not getting hit would just be unrealistic i feel like

What mod do you use for the quickfire accuracy? It seems like there is no spread on the shot.
I just use rampage trainer to be more accurate
Just quote a bit of practice, skill, and probably like 800 takes to get this perfect

How do you fire a revolver with the hammer instead of the trigger?
Shoot without aiming
Now that you know this, it's going to change combat entirely. Hipfiring revolvers makes them so deadly up close
In real life, after you fire once, you don't release the trigger. You keep it pressed and slam the hammer back and down in a smooth motion

I don't think John should have worn Arthur's hat after the capsize. Also, there is no his Cattleman or Custom 1899 Lancaster...
Yeah I forgot to use his cattleman, and the lancaster, but other than that I think arthurs hat is perfect for John
@@rdr.casper The point is not that he wore it, but that after the fall he did not pick it up, It's just poetic in some way, and partly explains why this hat is not in RDR.
