Explain why 200 miles or a week later, because I did mine with the lift and I end up having to pay for another alignment when I noticed it wasn't driving straight six weeks later.
Is it gnarly tho? Are you still able to daily drive without worrying about a tire blowing cuz I plan to do something similar to mine but with a 3inch I just wanna know most I can before
Clean the crap out of the wheel well including the cab mount in your driveway. Cover the cab mount in Layout Ink and back up about 3ft in straight and then with your wheels cutting left to right full turn. Take photos of the area immediately and then filed them down till they clear. Also take your tires off and double check your ball joints and wheel bearings for play. That may also cause the issue and is a much better fix than grinding down more of the chassis.
You guys should do an alignment video. You guys don’t install all these lifts and not do an alignment right? Toyota IFS alignment has a lot to do with tire clearance.
My 23 taco didn't need one with the rough country 3.5 kit. You might need for other kits but they intelligently designed it not need to chop. Go to Tacoma forms you'll get an answer
Something way wrong with the audio on this video, super quiet then Spikes up to super loud when your narrating. The content isn’t so great either. Just random shots of before and after, plus you’re throwing in other vehicles now; I thought it was supposed to be a Tacoma compilation?!? The first video I’ve disliked. The narrator does ask for comments, so I made some. Like I said earlier, I really do look forward to their videos and I am also subscribed to their channel. I’m a big fan of their work.
