Great video! I used this for the most part, but since I was also changing the struts I was able to not have to deal with the ball joint. I’ve seen other videos saying to place the gap in the washer at the 12:00 or use grease to keep it centered. I tried the 12:00 advice and it didn’t work, then spun it like she says and it popped in nice and easy. Also, was able to get the passenger side out without removing the trans mount. Now, time for an alignment.
1:27 Hard to take this video seriously after watching this person mangle the once perfectly straight brake rotor backing plate like a boss. I wonder now how often things like this actually happen behind the scenes.
Well done. I would suggest maybe 5 seconds to emphasize safely raising or jacking the car up. Also, a list of the tools used would be EXTREMELY helpful.
Is it possible to provide us about a reason to change it, are the axle make noise or some problem with gear! because I have same model of car that’s give me opportunity to maintain the axle before I lose it. Thank you for your video it is have a lot of benefit❤.
I have removed the inside axle cv seek in the chamber when I was trueing to removed the seal of my 2012 Elantra . How do I get that inner chamber seal now one back in . Or is this transmission inner problem I started
+William van Gils This procedure might be different for your application. We do not currently carry the part you need or have a how-to video for this particular year, make and model. Thank you for asking! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Why take off the ball joint instead of just the strut bolts? Ball joints typically the hardest to remove and usually damage them. Another video says the opposite on the split on the ring, they say have the gap on top to stop the ends of it from binding:)

Thank you. I wasn't doing this project on my car but you show me something to check out while under car. Engine and transmission mounts.

it's ok but it would be much simpler if you unscrewed the 2 screws from the shock absorber to the steering knuckle
❤❤❤❤❤❤

That lock clip at 7:41 should be at 12 o'clock position no at six.

Esta señora no sabe nada de los cuidados de las piezas, hiso muchas cosas inecesarias para sacar el eje de la transmicion. Alguien enseñele primero.
