I believe the break away torque is 450 ft lbs in both modes 1 & 2 . Mode 1 is limited to 150 lbs tightening , mode 2 is 300 foot lbs tightening. Thanks for the video.
Upgraded from an older 18v kit. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxW1vOBRCMrgTCDEijzpVzDWsgI-Jm2iQv I independently chose the drill and impact tool, before I came across the kit.I like the 3 speed impact gun. It seems more powerful than my older one, and it can be set to be really gentle. The drill is more appropriately sized for my use. I used to have a hammer drill, but I did not like that it was so big and it was not a great hammer drill. I rather have a smaller drill like this, and then get a corded hammer drill for the odd case I need that.
Thanks for the vid. I bought this but haven’t had a chance to use it yet. Need to swap out my summer wheels for the winters and really looking forward to using it.
@@funnymomentsnow1425 I use it a lot more than I thought I would. I went ahead and got the 3/8 also. I mainly got the 1/2 for swapping out my summer and winter wheels but I’ve used them to put a bbq together, put a new table saw together, replaced a couple fence posts and used it to screw bolts through the base bracket, a new bed frame, and more I’m sure. I really like them.

From the vids i seen, the 12v dcf901 is rated at 400 ft lbs but can actually do more. This one rated at 450 n pretty much what it is. So the 12v is jus as powerful or a bit less. Just like the m12 and m18 are rated the same. They use the same motor.
I had the 12V a few years ago, the DCF901B with the 1/2" anvil. I was amazed at how powerful it was. If you're open to the 12V platform, then definitely experiment with the DCF901B. Definitely punches above weight.
It’s perfect tool.I can confirm with 2 amp battery i changed all 4 tires and still 2/3 power left in the battery! So you dont need 4 amp battery unless you do more havy stuff.

How and why is it a Milwaukee killer…… I don’t understand these videos. You buy the tool you like and roll with it. Brands are Brands with each having their own unique selling points.but In no way is this a Milwaukee killer, does the exact same thing as the other brands do……. Remove bolts lol😂😂
20/18 technically are the same... Your multimeter reads 20v when the battery is full but afterwards check out the voltage and it'll read 18V... Stupid little secret these manufacturers use on us😎

Dewalt
Those also get damaged by using an impact wrench
Line the hole up on the socket with the flat side of the anvil ,makes life easier. The 921 is legit but, I like the M18 mid torque better.
Which gen M18 mid torque do you have?

Wish they would make a protective cover for the tool
They do just search for the rubber boot protector
There is one out there! Forgot the part number but they also have a kit that comes with it as well

Would any Dewalt 20v battery work for this impact driver?
