Awesome video! Have 7 of these tool boxes, several of the XL's and medium tool box and a rolling chest. Was into Dewalt tool boxes in the beginning but when I switched to Mikwaukee boxes, these are the best and cant be beat!

I got this and the small bits box (not packout i think) but with the slots to hold them. Think I may keep the whole plastic insert with bits at the shop and replace the ones in my small box as needed. Then can use the packout box for a small parts organizer. Ps these, ALL, bits do break eventually

I had the 12V a few years ago, the DCF901B with the 1/2" anvil. I was amazed at how powerful it was. I decided to stick to the 20V platform, so I sold it and got the DCF921, which has been great, although it's a lot heavier, and it's a lot taller too. If you're open to the 12V platform, then definitely experiment with the DCF901B. Definitely punches above weight.

That's not even a test for the 996, the drill is a monster for an 18 (20)Volt. Really glad to see you using the side handle because that drill is more than capable of breaking a powerful man's wrist. An absolutely fantastic power tool in my humble opinion.

3" T25 fasteners don't impress me. A subcompact drill can do that. By the way, you should have kicked it down into speed one the first time it cut out. That's probably why you destroyed it.

I run mine with the new 15 amp batteries and I can run a small 85 amp welder with 1/16 rods and I can also run 2 fridges a freezer ,2 ceiling fans and a few lights for about 5 to 6 hours

I've got a set of Irwin "the original vice grips". Complete junk. The teeth stripped out bad and there's a mile of play in the pins. They must use cheap chinese steel and then mark them up because of the brand name. Project farm did a torture test of a bunch of these. Shame the harbor freight ones didn't make it into his video. It seems like the actual original ones by Peterson made in Dewitt Nebraska beat all the competition, even snap on, by a landslide.

The inserts have to stay in their specific place or the lid won't close/fit..
