I’m loooking into getting this quick shifter for my bike, are you happy with it so far? How smooth was the shifting compared to clutchless shifting ?
What happens if you don't blur out you speedometer reading for the 2 min you went faster than 60? you afraid the cops will knock on door or fb has ppl to watch all the videos so they can flag ppl who speed?
I think it’s smart to be honest, you never know when videos are gna be used against you

Have you had the ECU flash done? I’ve got one of these bikes being delivered on Tuesday can’t wait to get out on it.
No didn't do anything, seems to run fine with the full system not had any backfire issues etc
@@DanTheTwoWheeler how about the deceleration as one of the benefits of the ecu flash is on deceleration these bikes are disowned to cut all fuel at the injectors but you can disable that so it’s not so twitchy on/off the throttle
@@Blipthethrottle726r depends on the age of the bike - the later ones don’t suffer so much from that issue

Man that bike sounds amazing ❤ I also got an FZ1, would I achieve somewhat the same result in the pops and burble if I only changed the slip on exhaust or would I also need to decat the main exhaust?
I have a FZ8 and still have my cat - I have a few exhausts that are basically just pipes and do get a lot of pops and bangs, take a look. ruclips.net/user/shortsXjAoBCpU0xA
I think decat is the main thing that causes these sorts of burbles

I've got just a slip on and it does still pop and crackle in the higher rev range but not as much as a decat

What have you done to make her pop like that? Mine has the same exhaust. Mine pops but not as much as yours.

mine does only crackle and pop above 7 to 8k rpm. i have an akra silencer. what did you do with your bike?
I think it's the decat downpipes that really help
Mine does it from 3k. I Just got the bike but as far as i know it only has a different mufler (sc projects). Its from 2012 btw

At the time it was a GoPro Hero 4 Black with an ND filter, and a Zoom H2N for audio :)
Nice bike mate - have a FZ1-N myself. Interesting you use clutch for shifting up even with quick shifter.. no criticism but man you barely need a clutch just blip throttle and get her into gear.
I'm watching him do exactly that as I type, granted he alternated a bit and used the clutch but come on Tim... you do you
Quickshifter works better at higher RPMs and/or hard throttle. This was more of a chilled ride, and using the clutch is definitely smoother in those lower RPMs. I did get a few nice pulls with the quickshifter tho 🤷🏻♂️😄

Yeahh I was still getting used to the bike at this point. Taking to high RPMs takes you to double digits real quick 😬😅
These crackles are tasty, if only mine did that. For some reason its just loud with the occasional really faint pop.
What bike/exhaust setup have you got?
@@DanTheTwoWheeler Triumph Speed Four with a stock exhaust that is somehow modified
@@CheapskateMotorsports just buy a chinese 35-50$ slip on, if it is a relatively new bike it probably has a mid muffler in the exhaust system, remove it and place a pipe instead, in the end do a dyno for pops, easy pease, but because of these kind of dynos u loose fuel economy, cuz pops are fuel leftovers inside the exhaust. So its a relatively cheap mod to do, just dont make it annoying if u ask me, pops at high rev are pretty good, u dont wanna have pops at low rpms, u need to have that silence option at lower to mid rpms ;)
@@DarthRevan12 if only it were that simple, my bike's quite old and rare I'm afraid. Aftermarket parts are hard to come by.
@@CheapskateMotorsports u dont need specific parts, exhaust tip is universal, and because the bike isnt new u dont even need to remove mid muffler because there is none, just buy a cheap sc project or akrapovic replica that cost 50$ or less and you will get much better sound then stock, its gonna be hard to get any pops tho without reflashing same as the cars do when they reflash their ecu for pops or just for more hp, ur looking for pops so go that route. Based on where you live it will cost a couple hundred to get all of that as cheap as possible
