Lets look at Escobar, his networth is around 40 billion. Escobar's Medellin cartel worked with him as the head and absolute leader, and he gets a much higher % because of that. And his cartel at the height controlled 90% of cocaine distribution.. ElChapo, on the other hand is only a leader of a few cartels in mexico. The reach is not as great. Plus he is not an absolute leader like escobar, he has to work well with the other cartel leaders giving him a much smaller profit. Eg, Escobar would sometimes take as much as 50% from his fellow Medellin cartel Capos, Chapo cant do that. So Chapo has a much smaller pie, from an already much smaller % profit given to the mexican cartels by the Colombian ones, not to add the other rival mexican cartels who are not under his control. I cant calculate exactly of course, but you go by feel with such things.

I finally found this song! For the last month I thought it was one of the theme songs for Narcos when it hit me that it was for El Chapo 😂 That voice and the entire song are amazing. Once I read the lyrics it was even better 😁
as a Mexican, i hate everything that is related to Narco Culture, but i give props on the direction of the series, it really shows how Mexico runs. what i like is that he is not shown as a Hero that much. because the series can make you feel like you want him to succeed, even tho it looks low budget i was with low expectations, but i was kinda impressed. i like that they use the cars, the fashion depending what decade he was in, i like the political thriller and drama, the silence scenes, the jail episodes, making you feel like him, like you got toughen on the process, the flashbacks with alternative timeline, that not everything is badass shootings. like all the other narco shows. by the way i live on Reynosa next to Nuevo Laredo where the EMES (z) used to rule. now that they got divided with the golfo cartels, Golfo Cartel is ruling the zone. yikes. this one of the most views videos of my city, those Z's are savages tho.
