This is by far the best theme for Narcos. Sets the right kind of tone, the dawn of modern technology's usage in stakeouts. The Black Ops Style redacted eyes in the ariplane, and then the scene where the army's marching behind a tank, jumping walls with assault rifles, the use of Pablo Escobar's and his DEA hunter's image. It all just feels right, like I knew what I was going to be watching throughout the next 50 minutes. Man do I miss the first time I watched this.

This is one of the most beautiful intros/theme songs of any show. It fits so incredibly well with this brilliant show. It's equally or even better than True Detectives Season 1 opening credits. That's saying something because TD had one of the bet opening songs fit the show like a glove. But Narcos intro is just too damn smooth.

This really captures the feel for the series. I don’t speak Spanish so I don’t understand the lyrics tragically, but the sort of sexy seductive tone giving way to an almost mournful end is so indicative of the series.

The song is about a Narco boss telling a woman all the pros and cons for being with him, but in a poetic way. The literal translation in english would be this:

Pretty much describes how many 80s Narco men treated women in the eighties. As a thing they could posses with their trasure. But the song also shows that those men were not just monsters, they were also humans with emotions and beautiful feelings. It's like a whole and honest way to show the Narcos relationship. Full of terror and love. (Mostly terror)
