@cynister7384 because getting an epidural can cause the need for more medical interventions including leading up to a c section and some women may not want that
That first one is so contradictory. “God made us so that our bodies block pain during birth” You mean the god that punished Adam and Eve by making childbirth unbearably painful for all women? Makes sense.

I don't have one anymore after uterine fibroid surgery 13 years ago, but had that dreaded period for 32 years and your comment had me rolling. So true. It was the worst before I had those fibroids removed. Was like a crime scene every month.
My Mom had mentioned to me that certain parts don’t go numb but your body minimizes the pain signals sent during childbirth from them. I think it’s specifically the birth canal and the opening of the vagina that you don’t particularly “feel” widening in the “normal” sense. I don’t think there a ton of nerve endings down there to begin with though, so there’s that. Neither my Mom or I are medical professionals though, so that’s just my own understanding of what my Mom had heard. 🙏🏻
@@BloggerErinyeah I have no doubt that some people experience periods of reduced pain or numbness. Like I had surgery once and the wound was left open to heal but it wasn't painful. The nurse I saw to clean it was surprised I didn't find the process excruciating. It varies from person to person. And I don't have a high pain tolerance, I just literally couldn't feel it. Other parts of my body can be pretty sensitive though.
That or shes confusing that your vaginal canal has less nerve endings than the clitoris to decrease pain during birth. It doesnt mean there r NO NERVE ENDINGS
Your brain actually gets flooded with hormones so that you feel less pain than you normally would, in some circumstances, and also with more hormones afterwards to have less negative feelings towards childbirth afterwards, if everything goes "all right". Epidural etc. can actually mess up a lot of that. But apart from that, it still is quite painful, it can vary greatly how much. I had labor induced both times, first time medically, second time with a foley katheter. Both births were without pain medication. The first one was a lot more painful and rushed, the second one also painful, but primarily feeling purposeful. I thought I was in for a few more hours, when they told me I should hurry up to get next door to give birth. Way less painful, really. It is curious how the body works sometimes.
i think what that first girl might have actually been thinking about is how your body blocks out the memory of just how painful childbirth was in order to encourage you to have another baby. so she was on the right track, just poorly mistaken and badly phrased

I don't think there's anything wrong with downloading a sexy mod for horny reasons, or even to find characters in the base game attractive, but it is a problem to demand a game's developers make the characters sexually appealing to you as a player.
The thing to understand here is that it's a Persona fan. If they're lusting over underage characters, you should NOT be taking their opinion into consideration ever. (Before anyone asks, yes, my pfp is a Persona character. By the end of the game he's either 18 or 19, not sure which.)
these posts are why we need mandatory, age appropriate, and comprehensive sex ed, starting in elementary school with anatomy and correct anatomical names. no more calling vaginas “cookies” n shit because you, as an adult, think “vagina” is a “bad”word and kids shouldn’t know it or whatever. i’m a trans guy and i HATE the word “vagina”, as its associated it with a lot of trauma and gender dysphoria for me, but you bet your bottom dollar im gonna be teaching my kids the correct terms for body parts, even if it makes me a little uncomfortable in the moment.
Agreed, there's nothing inherently wrong with explaining the human body to your child in a respectful and factual way. In fact, it could protect them some day, if a stranger or someone else touches them inappropriately they'll have the vocabulary to tell you what happened. Before I learned sex education, I was assaulted, I didn't know what to call it or to report it. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
And do this accross all languages spoken in the house, i had the vocabulary in english (kind of) but i didn't have it in spanish and was thus incredibly difficult to describe to my parents on top of reliving the truama.
@@ktostam35 People who vehemently defend NOT teaching AGE APPROPRIATE sex ed (and consent/abuse awareness) are the exact people I believe should not be around any kids. They know they profit off of abuse and they don't want children to be aware.
Also.. we really need to normalize teaching our kids the correct anatomy for their body and the opposite sex's body. It's genuinely the most preventative approach to keeping our kids from and NOT letting them get misinformed
literally as an early 20 year old bought myself 'the vagina book: an owner's manual for taking care of your down there' and learned new stuff about my OWN PARTS that my mom just decided to never talk to me about. planning on keeping it until i have a child and if its a girl or boy ill be giving them access to it with part of it being required reading for both.
For anyone confused how this helps: if your kids comes to you and says “uncle ate my cookie” you’re gonna go “that’s perfectly normal” but if the child says “uncle touched my vagina” you’re gonna know exactly what is happening and be able to stop your child from being hurt more. All you’re doing when you use funny or cute replacements for anatomical parts is helping people who want to hurt children. There’s are plenty of ways to teach these things to children of all ages in safe age appropriate ways.
My boys knew from early on that there were boy parts, and girl parts. And the names of their parts. I figured that this was the best way of addressing that issue. No one is going to mistake those terms for anything innocent if used by the child.
Painkillers can have different levels of effectiveness on different people, based on a TON of factors. Maybe she just got a much stronger dose than she needed?
I've had period pains worse than natural labour, thanks to endometriosis. I've also experienced completely unmedicated natural labour, thanks to my first born showing up a month to his due date early, and a midwife who couldn't believe that a woman in labour could be so calm.
I was at the movies with some friends and I asked my afab bestie for a tampon. They’re boyfriend at the time asked me why can’t I just hold it until the movie is over
I was induced because we thought I was two weeks late with my daughter. They warned me that it was going to make the pain worse. I vividly remember screaming "I don't care if I'm not dilated enough yet, give me that effing epidural NOW!!!" Not my proudest moment, but the pain was real.
The "are lesbians asexual" question reminds me of the guys who say "women can't climax, my evidence is a woman has never done so while being with me!" Like, imagine telling on yourself like that 🤦♂
The funny thing is, about the "Busy Yukari Mod", Yukari is known to be a minor. They were sexualizing a minor. That is why it got removed. Not even sexualizing women. Sexualizing girls.
What's even more messed up about that Persona 3 mod is it sexualizes a character who is 16. So, not only is that guy trying to sexualize women, but he's trying to sexualize minors, too!
that video game commentary is interesting, because actually a lot of games do make their characters to be marketed as eyecandy, and a lot of people do form crushes on fictional characters
What's wilder is this is likely the case with the game mentioned, Persona, but in that the characters are also generally minors (with a few characters who ARE 18-19) due to the game being in a high school setting.
I remember the most humiliating thing that I've ever done was when I was helping my friend who was on her period. She asked for pads with wings. Me being the golden retriever I am, took it literally and came back with pads and chicken wings.
Gotta admit, i do prefer the pads with wings but i bet I'd forgive the person if they came back with chicken wings, food is always good (and most likely a safe bet) lol Edit: as an asexual girly, i like ur pfp!
i relate to the short hair discomfort, its been 2 years since i got a haircut and i just got one last weekend and the back of my neck feels so naked lol
I take the birth control pill continuously due to migraines, and only have one or two periods a year. My periods tend to be light anyways, so i don't have any issues breaking through the medication and having to have a period. Honestly as someone who can't wear tampons its amazing
It's weird how obssessed our society is with policing women's bodies while also knowing so little about how women's bodies actually work... Something to consider.
LITERALLY it’s so gross how many people think it’s “disrespectful” or some shit for women to do what they want with their bodies, like I just want to live and make my own choices not just push out ugly ass kids
Genesis 3:16 To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children.” Even by bible logic god did not make the body for pain free childbirth. (For clarity, I by no means believe the Bible has any bearing on things irl. I just find it ironic that literally the third chapter says the exact opposite of the first woman.)
it was pain free at one point but not anymore. anyway is taking painkillers for chilbirth wrong too? cause god's intent was to cause pain in childbirth.
That's a religious belief that is thousands of years old. Childbirth is awful, but that mythology for why is ridiculous. A small human coming out of your body would be awful no matter how it happens. I had an emergency C-section and that was a lot like being the Thanksgiving turkey cut open through 7 layers and then the idiots at the hospital only gave me 35% of my effective dose of pain meds. So major abdominal surgery and the b of a nurse argued with my ex,-husband that they don't create addicts. If I had not been in so much agony I would have clawed her eyes out. Then they saw my meds and gave me too much Knocking me out.
12:10 *laughs in transgirl* but also yeah so many men cannot think of sex without a penis. My favourite story about this is when men tried to outlaw lesbian sex they couldn't conceive of how women would have sex without a penis involved so they gave up. Amazing
I think the idea of "blocking pain receptors during childbirth" is a misunderstanding of hormones that are released during labor that help the pregnant parent forget the intense pain. Idk how true that is, but it sounds more reasonable. I want to say I heard this from mamma Dr Jones, but I'm not sure.
with the thing about the modded game... Yukari, the character being sexualised, is like 16. she's a minor. the whole selection of main characters in that game is high schoolers.
Good lord this stuff means that way too many people never learned basic anatomy and sex ed. Federally mandated sex ed is the number one way to make videos like these die out

For context, the game in question, Persona 3 Reload, isn't even a romance game or sex game. You can romance people in the game, but it's entirely chaste aside from some fade-to-black potentially implied intimacy. So for that guy to be talking about dropping the game because it's not sexy enough makes no goddamn sense, because who on earth is playing Persona, the 100-hour JRPG whose central themes are DEATH AND GRIEVING, for anime titties? There's no shame in wanting to get off, but at that point you should just go watch hentai instead of being outraged that a non-sexual game is not sexual enough for you.
What's wild to me besides the completely unfounded biological claims of childbirth not hurting is that it’s not even what her faith says?? Was sure I heard smth in religious ed back in school so I checked and: “I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children.” Genesis 3:16 Like... girl🤦♀️
Hey kiwi I have this one tiny story where we were in sex ed in yth grade and when we were passing around pads it got thrown towards this poor girl and landed on her face she yelled and sobbed and ran out bc she thought it would mean she would get her period soon lets just say the teacher talked to her.
If we could block out child birth pain, then why the hell are periods still painful?? That woman is hopefully just rage baiting and being dumb on purpose
I know It's a bit late but... Menstruation shouldn't hurt. It should be bothersome because it's a organ pulsating and pushing the bladder and colon, but it shouldn't hurt. "Normalizing menstrual pain is patriarchal violence", if it hurts to the point it's debilitating (? (I don't speak English very well but hopefully you get the point) where you vomit and analgesics don't work at all! You should get checked for endometriosis. The pain mostly come from your habits, (eating, sleeping, stress, movements, etc.) You should really try and focus where it hurts because our uterus should be considered as our 5 vital sign, it helps us a lot. (Also! "The pill" disrupts the pattern of our cycle, so we should be encouraged not to use it and find other methods of contraceptives, and it does NOT "regulate" menstruation at all). You can use magnesium supplement for the pain :D
Sorry about the mini lecture but something about your comment sparked something in me to want to share knowledge, hopefully it helps (I know it doesn't have anything to do with the video, but it felt important to tell people who menstruate about the pain) I recommend people informing themselves about their body and a recommended this author called Lara Briden who is more capable of sharing information in the subject than me
As a boring straight guy, it always baffles me how little other guys know about sex. I mean, we're not in the 80s anymore, we've got all the information we need at our fingertips.
The body actually blocks pain receptors during labour. But there's so much pain there that it just makes it... somewhat bearable. But I mean, if it helps her not to freak out... Freaking out makes it more painful.
i feel like you missed one of the most important points when discussing the fruit diagram which is your vulva doesn't usually change its shape with age, you can be 18 years old and have a pomelo instead of a strawberry and that's normal 👍
Nuvaring is a once a month option to stop periods too. Been period free for years. Its prescribed to me for menstrual migraines, otherwise Medicare wouldn't cover it. Seems like contraception is a good thing for those of us already dependent on disability, but GOP make it so you need a medical issue for it. 🙄 Women also have natural testosterone, just much less than men. Its has more functions than sex, too, like bone mass & behavior. Is dick-centric a term? You might try spironolactone for your acne too, since you find its hormonal. Its gotten rid of the very painful acne I had, which didn't work well with my skin picking stim.
As a man who doesn't enjoy the penetrating part of sex it is upsetting that 100% of the time i have told this to people I'm open and honest with outside of my relationships. They have followed up with either asking if I'm asexual or assuming me and my partners no longer have a reason to be intimate. This somehow even includes women which i suppose is the part that makes me most sad as i don't think i have had a single female partner who thought that was the best part at least unless it was combined with something else.
I had the same thing!!! I was on the pill for like 8 years and like a year ago got off of it. The acne is WILD. But I prefer it to being on the BC. Trying to find a different birth control that localizes or doesn’t use hormones.
I just wanna say a massive thank you for reliably having subtitles! Sometimes I struggle to focus on things audibly and it helps me so much because usually the auto generated subtitles are wrong and then it leaves me confused or more frustrated than not having subtitles at all. Even large yt channels that have teams working on each video don't usually do this, especially for every video, and it just shows how much care you put into each video. I don't usually comment but I wanted to let you and others know that the effort you put into actually writing subtitles is noticed and greatly appreciated.
Everything right except from the games. Sometimes you associate your fictional team members with yourself - it’s just more interesting to play the game if you can choose like a hairstyle of your companion. I don’t know about the ass but maybe ass too… for someone. Or just for laughs
My mom didn’t have a painful childbirth for either of her kids because she has a tilted uterus, so we kinda just slid out. No drugs or epidurals or anything, completely natural. Definitely not invalidating other people’s birth stories, just saying that it is possible for a vaginal birth to go relatively painlessly without any drugs.
Hey kiwi, trans man here, testosterone does actually play a part in sex drive! When I started taking testosterone, my sex drive skyrocketed, many trans men have had this experience as well. When people who menstrate are going through their cycle, they experience an increase of their normal testosterone production during their cycle, making them feel a high sex drive during that time. It's one of the reasons cis men claim that wanting sex all the time is just natural, it's because that's how their testosterone makes them feel. I'm not saying cis women have low sex drives, but I am saying that testosterone plays a part in how severely you feel it👍
Oh totally! I've heard of that from my trans dude buddies (plus research). Also like how having more testosterone can effect body temperature too, more T often relating to higher regular body temp ✨️
It can also affect hair growth on the body. And it's also why most men end up getting bald later in life. It's not that their testosterone is fading, though. It's just becoming too much for the body to maintain.
i've been looking for comment like this because i'm too lazy to write it myself, so i just wanted to confirm it under someone else's comment lol. (also transmasc person on testosterone here). Of course it's only one of many factors influencing people's sex drive, but it definitely plays a role here.

In many games, characters are made solely for sex appeal. Most of the time the character’s design is just really attractive, but there are characters made solely for their sex appeal. That being said, Yukari is a highschooler. She’s 16-17 years old in the game. The fact that this guy is upset that he can’t sexualize a MINOR is creepy as fuck
Omg that first one... i mean, yes, try not to panic over childbirth and the pain and discomfort associated - panic will not help and likely will actually make things worse. But don't pretend it's gonna magically be painless!! You will not know how you'll handle it until you're getting into it. Maybe it will be crazy and you will need that epidural. Maybe it will be intense but bearable. Maybe you'll be one of those rare cases that experience ~orga5m1c birth~ (i haven't researched it but i have heard of its existence). But you won't know til you're there - try to simply listen to your body and take appropriate action (this includes getting pain relief).
There's kind of a point to be made with the boobs thing. Every other mammal only has boobs when they're lactating, even other primates. Humans are the only ones that develop them as part of sexual maturity and then keep them around all the time. So clearly that's not required for lactating, and the reason why it happens with humans is a reasonable question to ask in the context of human evolution. Sex appeal is a common hypothesis, but it's not like science has never been biased by straight male opinions so who knows for sure 🤷♀️
I know that something Ive heard with child birth is that it feels painful, but the mothers mind often forgets a lot from the experience and can mostly remeber it from what they were told happened. Some people think it's our mind's way of convincing us to have more children.
Actually, hormonal birth control does affect you preferences in relationships and some women do break up with their long time partners because of this. It puts you in a permanent state of your luteal phase which is the phase right before your period. In this phase you generally prefer partners that are comfortable and cozy whereas in your follicular phase and during ovulation you are more attracted to partners that are adventurous and fun. So when you get on or off birth control that preference can change. It can also affect the way you smell and the smells you like so this changes your attraction to people as well. Hormones do wild stuff to your body. (This is just in general and does not apply to everyone, just what I learned about it over the last years)
The one about Persona 3 is fucked up on an even deeper level because the characters in that game are HIGH SCHOOLERS. This dude is complaining that the HIGH SCHOOLERS aren't sexy enough for him
That first lady is in for a real treat when she goes into labor. I'm a mom of 2 and even 21 and 17 years later, I remember that sh1t wasn't pain-free. But I guess the epidural and other pain medications during birth don't exist?!?!
As an Aego AroAce person, I'm only interested in fictional Characters. I might find real people good-looking, but I'd never date anyone. I live through fictional characters. I find fictional characters way more attractive than IRL people, and I'm always happy when they look good in video games. Though I don't usually mod my games, the only game I use mods for is The Sims 4. I like the video game characters as they are and don't need to change them. As for Sims, I mainly use it for the WickedWhims mod ... I don't sexualize IRL people, but I sure as hell do it to video game characters because those are just a bunch of pixels, and they don't get hurt, because they are not real.
So, if this isn’t weird can I ask what Aego is? What you’re describing is what I’m going through. I just couldn’t find the right label. I’m constantly struggling with not being attracted to real people.
@@MaddoxEzman Oh, it is something on the ace spectrum. It's a disconnect between themselves and the object of arousal. My two cents: I have given birth twice. It can be very painful as we all know. My first time was like torture. My second was different. No pain meds and still intense, but it didn't hurt. It helps if the mother feels safe and private.
The second on has me needing to comment: It's not good to have your menstrual blood in you. Even if a glue ended up working, there would be a risk of it getting stuck long enough for it to become a toxic situation. There are warnings on tampons for that reason
Hey, I just wanted to take a minute to talk about something you brought up around the 7:00 minute mark. You talk about your own individual experiences on hormonal birth control, you acknowledge there are different side effects, "but it's very rare that it's going to mess with your emotions... Don't blame the birth control, it's definitely something else." I want to emphasize just how much statements like this can be harmful. I was on birth control for years of my life, and it DID mess with my emotions drastically. I was suicidal, dealing with awful mood issues, and it was like night and day when I finally stopped taking it for good. I was told by friends it was like my whole personality changed. There is a comedian, Taylor Tomlinson, who quite literally has a joke that she was excited to "finally meet herself" after stopping hormonal birth control because of just how many women reported finally being able to feel their feelings. This is such a well documented side-effect both clinically and anecdotally, to deny it is harmful to anyone who takes any sort of feminizing hormones. Not just cis women, but trans men, enbies, and trans women are included in this. I understand that your own personal side-effects were just acne, but you must take into account the entire scope of people who have experienced womanhood. Hormones play a drastic role in the human body. Not just sex hormones either. Also, super tiny tangent. There is, in fact, a hormonal birth control that is injected into the glutes. So, in a way, birth control that goes in your butt. It is not an IED, but I do think that you should also take a minute to look up the various kinds of birth controls there are. I normally love your content, but as a trans man, this section left a very sour taste in my mouth and I had to click off when I first watched this video.
Yeah my mom and sister both became super mean and irritated on birth control (granted there are like a zillion different options). It can change you a lot, especially if you're prone to side effects. I started mine about a month ago because this past year my periods have been straight up debilitating and it might help. I'm on the mini pill because I have migraines, not ones with auras though but whatever. So far it's alright but the potential side effects are scary asf. Hormones are no joke! I'm glad you're doing better, that has to have sucked so bad.
modding games to your liking is generally whatever, if a more busty character is going to make your experience even nicer while you play - go for it. We like surrounding ourselves with things that please the eye and cater to our preferences, nothing wrong with that. Obviously the problems begin when the changes are being pushed by the players to the devs or to the public, because it's not a preference anymore, it's a statement and it involves others now instead of just you. And it's especially fucking bad if it involves minors, like in the case mentioned in the video, holy shit
The one screenshot of the guy who tweeted about Yukari from Persona 3 failed to mention how Yukari is a high schooler. She is 16-17 years old in the game.
As a trans woman I remember my first child birth....
Hearing "it can tear" always sends shivers down my spine
Same like I don’t even have one but just the thought makes me wanna scream
i think what that first girl might have actually been thinking about is how your body blocks out the memory of just how painful childbirth was in order to encourage you to have another baby. so she was on the right track, just poorly mistaken and badly phrased

These people are just idiots. Most kids know how these things work. It doesn't mean that sex ed is needed
I say teach kids since kindergarten. Imagine how many children would be saved if they had this knowledge since age 3-4
Parents need to learn to teach.
My boys knew from early on that there were boy parts, and girl parts. And the names of their parts. I figured that this was the best way of addressing that issue. No one is going to mistake those terms for anything innocent if used by the child.
exactly!! and it can stop people unintentionally spreading false information about the other sex

Especially in games with romance plotlines or dating sim parts, like BG3 or Rune Factory.
What's wilder is this is likely the case with the game mentioned, Persona, but in that the characters are also generally minors (with a few characters who ARE 18-19) due to the game being in a high school setting.

Even by bible logic god did not make the body for pain free childbirth.
(For clarity, I by no means believe the Bible has any bearing on things irl. I just find it ironic that literally the third chapter says the exact opposite of the first woman.)
Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
it was pain free at one point but not anymore. anyway is taking painkillers for chilbirth wrong too? cause god's intent was to cause pain in childbirth.
And also referenced John 16.21
“A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; (…)“
That's a religious belief that is thousands of years old.
The Yukari thing is even weirder considering that SHE'S UNDERAGED an a HIGHSCHOOLER, which is clearly shown in the game-

There's kind of a point to be made with the boobs thing. Every other mammal only has boobs when they're lactating, even other primates. Humans are the only ones that develop them as part of sexual maturity and then keep them around all the time.

LMAO
The one screenshot of the guy who tweeted about Yukari from Persona 3 failed to mention how Yukari is a high schooler. She is 16-17 years old in the game. Like 99% of the characters in the game are teenagers since it takes place in a high school (I've only watched the Persona 3 movies so please correct me if I'm wrong!) I feel like that just makes his tweet even worse 💀
I was thinking this reminds me of 2020 queer kiwi too!! When I started watching you in covid 💜💜
17:12 Yukari is a high school student...
Video reminds me of the time I heard two men on the bus complaining about the library in my area having free menstrual products. His main argument was “my tax money shouldn’t pay for tampons. It’s not MY fault women can’t hold their bladders”
Im a biological female, i didnt know anything about vaginas before i was 13, only that they bleed. Im 18 now, still dont get the anatomy 100%, but i just use the pill to stop my period, i started right after i got my first period. I had a phase where i had the implant birthcontroll and the pill, but i got it taken out. Im also planning on getting my tubes tied asap so i wont have to worry about anything. They should maybe teach more in school idk
Fun fact! Yukari is also 16!
