Mig braze I reckon. Less heat input but has been shown to be as strong as a weld on thin sheet.

I think all volvos should be boosted or run on throttle bodies.

Rust is a killer on metal ,
there is no easy way to say this, but it has to be cut out
& new metal put in ,cos if U
don't it will come back worse

Rust is definitely a killer of cars it’s a real shame that this one has never seen a proper repair. It would be great to dip this but for now rust is being cut out and new metal going then some proper rust protection after 👍
