Steve! This was the most perfect size heli , ever ! I miss mines very very much . Little note : i lost mine many year ago in october, was found it again 4 months later on top a tree. . Put a fresh battery and was WORKING again ! Unbelievable, because rain very hard all winter. I was very lucky to have the opportunity to play with this heli, grazie Stefano!!
Another rainy day on the bayou, so I decided to work on my 200SRX. I had in mind checking for the motor power increase steps, went to on youtube found your video, followed the steps and WOW!, I should had done this long time ago. The power increase really enhanced this bird. I tried it out on my yard for a few minutes( between raindrops!) and I love it. Even on the beginner's mode the heli acted so smooth and sweet can't wait for fair weather and go full blown.
Trying this again, I connected the 200SRX heli and then the DX6 and run the throttle trim up to max, but the rotors did start....you said it wouldn't, "don't worry about that..."
great advice and be damed it works like an angel I finally got the power to pull up in down drafts on very windy days 40 plus kmh winds and the chopper is getting faster
Saved! Genius Blade Team! I live at roughly 4600 ft above sea level and early reports of low performance at this altitude kept me from buying a 200 SRX for scale flying enjoyment/ circuits. Now I'll purchase one very soon. Thanks!
hey Steve (or anyone) how do you "o" or zero the 200 servos ? I was told to take the servo arm off then initialize the 200 then put the arm back on. I've had problems after putting on new servos which led to ground hitting.
I understand trim and how to adjust it in all axes bar throttle. Firstly should throttle trim initially be central and does, "All the way up" mean maximum, ie pushed to the top limit?. I keep my throttle trim (DX6) at lowest level (all the way down) but its not obvious to me where it should be at any time. Using a MJX RTF heli, it adjusts where the throttle engages and can be left so that the heli is rotors running even at zero stick position. The DX6 doesn't seem to do this. Any help welcome, thanks
i have a dx6, and no matter what i do i can't get into gain adjustment mode, please help..I can get into gain adjustment mode with my dx4e but not dx6. are the setting saved into the hell or the transmitter?
Was wondering if u could help me with an issue im having with my srx200. It seems to only hover near the ground, seems very underpowerd with a fully charged lipo, i have it full throttle and it wont climb much just hovers about a foot off the ground, any advice is much appreciated.
Voyage DnB I have lost two 200 SR X heli's - Yes two! one at night [lost orientation/sight] and one during the day [very strong wind] I'm on my 3rd 200 SR X now - just received today - Do have a Blade 450 X - I took that out once and crashed it - very worried to attempt flying that again at the moment - would love to have a way to put the self levelling onto the 450 X so I could slowly learn to fly that too - If you could set it up the 450 X to fly just like the 200 SR X [but with more power and collective pitch obviously] that would be a very logical way to transition from/to :) It's a shame that at the moment flying Rc Helicopters is geared towards 3D flight - as fun as that is - what about the conventional type of flying - I enjoy the relaxation part of flying - the - calm side of things and I'm sure others do too - why can't you fly a 450 X around at speed yes but calmly - why do you have to be doing everything inverted ? - I'd like to see a Blade 450 geared towards speed and precision flight - with self levelling and attitude control - for just taking things easy from time to time :)
My 200 sr x has begun to suck all the power out of fresh fully charged batteries after 2=3 minutes of flight in low wind conditions. I was able to fly up to 10 minutes before this. Any ideas why this would happen ? They are new batteries and work fine in the 230 s.. ESC maybe ?? Help.
Had ever happen the POD defect that all 200srx stock esc&receiver have? That will lock the heli in full throotle and spin tail till batery is removed with no user error or attempt's to kill throotlhe in transmister. HH need to admit it and issue this major defect that will happen sooner or later on the 200srx with stock ESC & Safe receiver that need to mate together!
I have the Spektrum DX7 radio. There is a bind button on the back of the radio. When I do as instructed, turn radio on, plug in helo battery and then attempt the sticks to the bottom right position and push the bind button, nothing happens. The model stays in the flight mode with normal control responses to inputs on the radio. Is there a different procedure for the DX7?
I just picked one of these up.. it was a bout 85-90f out side, had it in the air for about 3 to 4 min puff of blue smoke hit the ground from about 4 feet.. main motor is cooked. I took it back to Hobbytown and they tell me its way to hot out side to fly it.... is this true? they are going to put a new motor in it I asked them ,,can I just return it as I am not happy with not being able to fly it unless its cold outside ? and they tell me no you cant... and after spending thousands of $$ at this place over the last 2 years.... I have seen nothing in any youtube vid or anyplace that says this... the thing also seamed to be under powered..? bad motor ? Please some insight on this subject would be very nice... Thank you Allister
No should be find a i got the same problem just trying to spool up in my house the 200 srx motor is a problem it happened 3 times to me now if i was going to a store i wouldnt buy it its just fragile and unpowered ALOT
I am still having trouble setting the gains on this thing. But I also had trouble setting the gains using the 6i radio. I love the way the 6 works with this heli though, I mean it even allows for a kill switch which the 6i could not be setup for kill throttle. I just need to be able to set the gains because i am getting a twitch/wobble at ceratan spots.
hello every one. can any one help me please. i tried to gain motor power but by mistake i think i did some thing wrong may be i changed router motor power. can any body tell me please that how can i go back to factory resetting. i am using RTF modol.
Ya man mine did the same thing too so I had to back off power just a bit maybe like to 175 percent and tail doesn't wobble so much I recently installed a lynx tail rotor they seem to be a little stiffer
For some reason my 200 srx
wasn't taking off today like usual, and I tried this and its very powerful now. thanks for your Brilliance.

Thanks for this update , this is exactly what this 200srx heli needs , MORE POWER!!
This is really going to help in low altitude pull out
I just bumped power up to 200 percent , very simple process on the stock transmitter. Now it flys like it should. Thanks
Trying this again, I connected the 200SRX heli and then the DX6 and run the throttle trim up to max, but the rotors did start....you said it wouldn't, "don't worry about that..."
awesome video!!
have a question... if I switch to 200 prozent, would it drain the battarie faster?
great advice and be damed it works like an angel I finally got the power to pull up in down drafts on very windy days 40 plus kmh winds and the chopper is getting faster

Just curious, is it possible to bind this transmitter to a Spektrum receiver?
Thanks, very helpful!
Did this fix the problem and did the tail wobble get worse. Thx love your vids btw
XGN Welks You know, I never did get around to messing with adjusting the gain at all.
+Flyin' Ryan RC ok thanks. What is the next video you are going to do?
XGN Welks I've got a couple Siliverlit toy-grade helicopter reviews coming out this Wed and Fri.
+Flyin' Ryan RC great can't wait!

Have you got a video of the setting on the dx8 on this heli ???

can you use the dx6i with te 200 srx? if so what are the settings please. thanks
i have a dx6, and no matter what i do i can't get into gain adjustment mode, please help..I can get into gain adjustment mode with my dx4e but not dx6. are the setting saved into the hell or the transmitter?
Can u do the same settings with a dx6i?
Sean Montgomery The settings are stored in the 200sr x not the radio. You can make the gain adjustments with your DX6, DX7, DX8, DX9, DX18.
Any decrease in flight time increasing the motor power? Also any risk of overheating ?
yogikon Just the opposite and I use a larger battery (Nano Tech 1.0) gives me 15 + min flight times @ 10.5volts
Was wondering if u could help me with an issue im having with my srx200. It seems to only hover near the ground, seems very underpowerd with a fully charged lipo, i have it full throttle and it wont climb much just hovers about a foot off the ground, any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks - Would be nice to see more 200 SR X stuff ---
Voyage DnB Would also love to see a GPS receiver for the 200 SR X - with return to home function etc :)

It's a shame that at the moment flying Rc Helicopters is geared towards 3D flight - as fun as that is - what about the conventional type of flying - I enjoy the relaxation part of flying - the - calm side of things and I'm sure others do too - why can't you fly a 450 X around at speed yes but calmly - why do you have to be doing everything inverted ? - I'd like to see a Blade 450 geared towards speed and precision flight - with self levelling and attitude control - for just taking things easy from time to time :)
Voyage DnB Buy Walkers GPS Helo w return home, auto level, alt hold......no brainer
I will look into that: thanks :) but would rather use Blade/Spektrum
Hi I program my 200 with my Dx6 it was a read to fly how do I go back to the read to fly Radio

Can I do that with the blade 200 s?
you address only the power gain "R 200". Sees like the remaining gain settings for A, B, and L should be addressed.
Had ever happen the POD defect that all 200srx stock esc&receiver have? Donald Stark Use a DX9 and you can see the gains on the radio
Mitch Peterson DX9 is an awesome improvement over the impressive DX8
You need the power gain even if you live at sea level.
omg this really works
hi steve, here joey ? i got a blade 200 srx and i also have the old jr 10x heli version with dsm2 module, so it will work yes!
I just picked one of these up.. it was a bout 85-90f out side, had it in the air for about 3 to 4 min puff of blue smoke hit the ground from about 4 feet.. main motor is cooked.

yup
DX9 and 200srx wont' go into setup mode no matter what I try. VERY frustrating.
Hi Steve, please do you have any email where I can asking you some things about Blade 130X? Thanks!
5 years they never reply
how do i do this with the dx6i?
Hey Catch262...did you receive an answer for this? I have mine set up on the 6i as well.
I am still having trouble setting the gains on this thing. But I also had trouble setting the gains using the 6i radio. Cool
i done this and the tail was so bad had to put it back to 100 percent must be away to get the tail to hold
Ya man mine did the same thing too so I had to back off power just a bit maybe like to 175 percent and tail doesn't wobble so much I recently installed a lynx tail rotor they seem to be a little stiffer
Super guide how about making one with Advanced setting and setup guide.
; 0)
My DX6 spmr6700 will not not do this..
This will not work with a DX6i transmitter.
If you really want power us a 13T pinion jesus it becomes a beast
what pinion is on it now? where do I get this pinion??
