    • @groethej
      @groethej 4 месяца назад +2

      Yes he does but Zverev did put most of his returns far too short and bouncing high, right in the strike zone of Alcaras, putting Zverev under pressure all the time. Sinner's shots are much much flatter and much closer to the lines, so Carlos will have to generate his own power from his ankles, which is when he starts to over hit and go long. I guess it depends how each player feel when they get out of bed too.

The big 3 at their peek is insane and all look like unbeatable. I believe Alcaraz will meet that level soon but just basically he is not there yet.

      Carlos certainly has way more variety than Sinner and likes these conditions a lot but he needs to keep the unforced error count low as he did against FAA and Fabian. I think he made a few more against Zverev but we don't know if this is due to wind or other external factors like dip in temperature as the sun went down.

    A pesar de la intensidad de los partidos, me sorprende la claridad mental de Alcaraz para ejecutar diferentes jugadas y dejar parados a los rivales. Esto lo diferencia del resto que no evoluciona y pierden como amateur contra cualquiera.
