actually there is a new feature that activates whenever you put a toolbox model, it will show a message indicating that the said model has a script. roblox actually didnt mess up this time.
I recommend this: For terrain try to do it for yourself with the terrain tool (at least the base of your map), search tutorials if needed. Also for terrain decoration, if ur lazy, go to toolbox and get mesh packs of trees, for example, and try to have 2 or 3 different type of trees or rocks. Also use bushes and grass(there's the decoration enabler located in *terrain* which adds you auto grass), looks nice. +(Think on what style ur looking for your game: Is it Realistic? Blocky or basic? ; Also if it's more of a city RP maybe u really don't need this tip since cities are most likely on flat terrain // with the select and fill options on terrain tool is easy//, but anyway, it all depends on how much of detail in your game u want to give, *YOU CAN EITHER USE TERRAIN TOOL FOR MORE COMPLEXITY, OR PARTS AND SIMPLE UNIONS FOR A MORE SIMPLISTIC LOOK* ). Lighting is a more complex setting, since it depends on what tone and ambience ur trying to archive. (Like of a more horror rp game, or a fantasy one, or maybe a more depressing loking; it all depends on your game theme, and how ru want your players to feel when they play). Play with the settings, add post-processing effects (like color correction, ambience and sun rays, which are my personal favourite), there's also animated clouds (you can add them in terrain), change celestial bodies with your own, also look into Devforum there are good tips there. For building structures and furnishing it will take practice, and then again, on how much detail ur trying to archive; use meshes and the toolbox (don't abuse free models tho, lol), also using unions. Finally don't forget that particles exist, they are so cool if used properly (dust particles are an example). Extra tip: There are free meshes with it's own textures on the internet (be sure they are below 10k poly and they are FBX or OBJ format). BTW USE PLUGINS GOODDAMN, THERE ARE A FEW GOOD BUILDERS OUT THERE WHICH GIVE AND SHOW AMAZING PLUGINS THAT THEY USE! LIKE F3X. ANOTHER TIP IS USING A DUMMY OR A PERSON SIZED MODEL TO HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF SIZES. *find and try PBR materials also free skybox in the internet for free!* If I left something let me know.
If you don’t already have your own assets like beds, desks etc. there are so many asset kits in the catalog. Make sure you check for scripts and fires though! I

I recommend getting meshes pack, if you're building furniture the meshes will come in handy
