My aunt did that. Played the same numbers every week, and the one week she forgot, it came through. She was apperently so mad.
Think its a bit different in Norway in many ways. You dont pay tax, cause the only legal lotto is the gouverment one (Norsk Tipping), and "millionær" in Norway, cause of the currency, is about 100K us dollars. I dont play cause you have to register to play. You didnt have to before, so you could just fill out the coupong and submit it.

Here in the UK we do not pay tax on lottery winnings, or any form of betting. What you win you keep!

Tax is paid on the bet not on the winning in most cases. If you go in a bookies and bet on a horse you can choose to pay tax on your winnings or pay a smaller tax on your initial bet.

Best not to use turps. Paint with low or non odour solvents, so opening windows is good enough.

it really depends on the lottery system in question. If you have higher potential wins, the chances will be vastly lower.

Statistically you always lose more than you gain though, that's how they make their money after all.

Using the same numbers every time gives you no statistical advantage.

Playing the lotto has nothing to do with logic. Human beings are awful at calculating probability, thats exactly why the lottery even is a thing. The house always win

It makes as much sense as any superstition or religion. It's reassuring.
