This is indeed a good and consistent strategy for lower levels, I believe at around level 55, you can just focus fully with Social Engineer and Peturbator. Makes the run so much easier long as you run with the shotgun. At that point, i reckon you can just ignore lockpicking and go for speed instead. Doing 10 minute runs can net you more xp in the long run. (Side note, i recommend bringing plates rather than healthpens because the damage taken is usually too instant and you need to reduce that first impact as much as possible rather than just having a heal option) Frankly, the heal stations are usually enough for the whole run. You can also run booming voice so you can just use shotgun directly.
i went with health pen here to make sure my health was always above 2 bars so that if a civilian decided to stab and i missed the shot i can still survive. i also don't have the hoarder perk to get plates nor social engineer to make the civilians not stab me. and even if i did have them i wouldn't include it here to make this run friendly and doable for all levels past 5. but for sure after a high enough level your method would be much better but i just simply wanted to provide a more consistent and easier alternative to get to that level without tons of failed runs. and as for the lockpicking it's not a huge time consumer and since the whole thing works off a multiplier each point would really help a lot so i don't see why you should skip out on it
@@cherryparryyo, instead, you can use a shield, shotgun (beanbag), and hostage everyone including enemies firing at you. Use 2 zip ties, one lockpick and 2 flashbangs. Then, if anyone gets up, use your leeman to kill them. If anyone stabs you, I usually spam left click and space and they end up not killing me. For skills, I use perturbator, scavenger, hoarder, and booming voice. Then, get envoy , or, get breacher and the lockpick skill so you can lockpick faster. Make sure to fully clear the whole map, lockpick every door, and disarm every bomb. If you’re doing this in multiplayer, try not to get downed, as it gives a huge bonus in exp. Also, I am level 51, so please don’t expect to be able to equip all the skills. but, I understand the reasoning for not just using a method for higher levels, you want this to be able be done with low levels or maybe even for new players so everyone can use this method. also this reply section makes me feel like it’s a essay contest (even though it’s nowhere near the length of an essay) then again, level 5’s can’t really do this, I can tell you have perturbator and envoy, which already cost 10 talents. But, either way, this method of yours is good. for me, doing this on extremity takes about 10-11 minutes. you also never stated what skills you need, nor the difficulty. For all we know, this could be serenity, the lowest difficulty, but since there isn’t a little bar in that corner, we know it’s not serenity.
Beanbags are also a very nice option, but you will get people trying to get up and fight you if you don't have social engineer. Once you do, its great for suppressing all resistance. Runners still exist, but the Leeman can handle those.
i fr needed this, i always died in combat cuz there’s somehow the entire chinese military in a single room edit: died on first run, because hostile somehow spawned in a room that I checked
yep it doesn't. only when securing enemies or zip tying them you get the exp. taser only helps to kill enemies that become a problem by taking them out quickly and without making sound.
as shown in the end screen you can only get exp when you intimidate (secure) an enemy and ziptie them. when you don't do any of those and instantly tase them you will gain no exp. here in this run im trying to intimidate all of them and make them surrender but if it starts getting out of hand i shoot them with the taser otherwise i just go and ziptie them for more exp. of course you can just only lockpick doors and defuse traps for exp but you should atleast try making them surrender before you taze them.

When I first used shotgun I didn't know it would kill on head so I was very confused when I killed 1 civilian with the beanbags
