    This is one of the reason why I adore you, Matthew! You're so brilyant, you can turn a simple technic pop up into something so.... "wow!".
    And for this achievement, I agree to call you "proffesor Matthew".
    Keep your level beyond others, Matthew ...
    I love you....

    Thank you for that nice step to step tutorial.
    It helps also seeing the "basic" forms connected to a visual object (like the puppet).
    Keep up the nice work. Greetings from Germany. :)

    Hey Matthew, Thanks for sharing your amazing talent and knowledge. I love the complex Transformers pop-ups! Have you seen the series on Netflix called "The Toys That Made Us"? There's a whole episode dedicated to the history of the Transformers.

    This is wonderful. I only discovered you today. I'm trying to make a pop up book for my grandson's birthday, although I'm a notice withb pop ups. What you created here is something I can use and adjust to what I want - at least I hope I can. Thank you.. How do you attach sections without using scotch tape without it showing, and will it last with scotch tape??

    • @MatthewReinhart
      @MatthewReinhart  6 лет назад +2

      If you want to attach sections together without the tape showing, I would do either of 3 things: tape on the undersides of the pieces if possible, decorate and color first then tape down with clear tape, or make your own glue tabs. We have many examples of glue tabs in our "Let's Make it Pop" series. I'd download the template for the Monster's Inc. craft and see how you can apply the use of glue tabs to your project. I'm sure your grandson is going to love it!

      Thank you so much for your immediate response. You have asked for suggestions for upcoming classes. How did you create the pop up on the video above starting at 1:45, bottom right of the page. Never mind, I think your pop up tie helps me understand how you did it. Thanks again

      Hi Matthew, what about using double sided tape? Would that not withstand the repetitive motions?

  • @jmkmini
    @jmkmini 6 лет назад +3

    Hi again Matthew. I have a question, when I started this one I had a bit of a problem. It was the second pull tab that makes the triangle. Would you mind giving approximate measurements when you make a new one? (inches)
    I use your pop/ups to make cards for shut ins. Thank you for sharing your talent!

    • @MatthewReinhart
      @MatthewReinhart  6 лет назад +2

      What a great idea! I would love to see a couple! At 10:05 the piece is taped down so 2.5" is visible. The piece I'm cutting at 10:39 is 3.5"x2" and the fold line I am copying at 10:55 is at 1.5" in. Thanks for watching.

    • @jmkmini

      Matthew Reinhart Thank you so much for taking the trouble of measuring. I will try it again! The next pop-up card I make I will share it with you.
