As much as i like Hammett's playing most fo the time, John is THE MAN on this stage. I saw him at one fo this solo shows a few months ago, and he is incredible.

5 is a better technical teacher type.. . but Kirk is good enough.. and he writes and has written some of the most killer songs and parts in rock history that can move mountains. John 5 has ZERO to his name.. but he will always be a better teacher for learning exercises.

Here's how I see this. Pike is the best at playing purely fucking riffs. John 5 is the most technically proficient player, and Kirk is just the most popular and influential here to Metal in general
